HuHot Mongolian Grill

Have you ever wanted to create the wildest food combination. This is the place. This restaurant is an experience you should try. There's different types of meat, and many vegetable and endless amount of sauses. The food gets ready fast with little wait. If this is your first time, I recomend you to start little to find out what you like. Overall good place and will come again.

Every time we go through Rapid City SD always stop here. Easy parking, good location, and love sitting in a booth at a window. Usually never over crowded so able to get through the prep area without a long line. Always good food and service. We'll be back:)

HuHot is an excellent dining establishment. Good prices, good food, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere. You can eat until you're full at the buffet, and there are plenty of options to keep things interesting each time.

One bowl at a time but they don’t get too mad when you grab two. Pick your own ingredients and don’t forget to pour a lot of sauce on before going to the grill. The chefs are entertaining and will scream if you tip and hit the gong. Don’t be discouraged by a big crowd because the line is fast. Very satisfying if you know how to flavor your food. Wished they had shrimp but no biggie. Highly recommend.

Love this place! I try to stop in every time I'm in Rapid. Simple concepts infinite number of combinations. First you get your bowl add noodles,proteins, veggies, and finally sauces/oils. After lining up around the grill enjoy seeing your combinations turned into a fantastic meal by their skilled chefs. Truly excellent ingredients and easy of pay at the completion of your meal, simply scan a QR code with your phone and pay the bill. Without a doubt I will be coming again for many years.

This is an absolutely amazing place! You are completely free to pick all ingredients of the plate. The food is cooked very quickly, and the place is not very crowded.
The personnel is also very friendly and attentive to all needs.
This place has a great choice of meats, vegetables, and sauces, and every mix of ingredients is delicious. All-you-can-eat is pretty cheap, but definitely worth it!
We'll definitely visit this place again.

Our first time here AND it is great. No matter what you like or don't like, how spicy or plain or whatever, each dish is made JUST the way you like it because you get to make it :-) I am trying to eat less pasta and they even had veggie noodles. I also don't eat meat but they had tofu too!

They have a sause station with like 20 differnt sauses. Not sure whats good- no worries, they even have suggested combinations for you to try. I made two plates and put different stuff on each with different sauce combinations and Oh my Yum!

And they have kids menus.

Also, staff is VERY FRIENDLY, very clean (covid time so it's important) and quick.

Having been here twice I can easily recommend it to anyone with a taste for Asian food. This place is great, for one reason above all others. You create your plate. Might seem complex, it's so not!

Buffet style choice of noodles, meats, vegetables and another buffet of sauce options.

They serve white steamed rice to your table upon request.

You put all your choices in a bowl and take it to the giant stone grill in the center and they cook it then and there, while you watch. Takes no time, and since it's not smothered in butter or oil the food is light, wonderfully flavored and if you have room for seconds, grab another bowl and go for round 2! I know my plate might look eclectic, but that's just me, I picked it by what I wanted to taste, not for how it looked, but that's the beauty of the place!

Personally, I'm full after one, but there's a cookie shop just down the strip which tempts me to save a little space for dessert, you might want to do the same.

This is one of the best HuHot restaurants I have been to. The kid working the grill July 6th 2018 at 3PM was doing an awesome job.

He was very attentive to the food on the grill but was still able to be friendly to visitors. The host was also very friendly.

The waitress was ok. Not great.

The food out in the bar looked fresh.

I absolutely love this place! I go every time I make it to Rapid! Honestly wish there was one where I live! Staff had always been friendly and never had a bad experience!

Excellent meal, quickly prepared, fantastic service. They kept the place very clean and glasses full at the table even though they were quite busy at the time. Great place!

My very first time at a Mongolian grill, but definitely won't be my last time. Great selection, great fast service and cooking. All around a great experience for me and my 3 kiddos.

Date Night and first time at HuHot. Had fun picking out my meal and watching it be cooked.This was a fun time.I would say give it a try...

Talented, friendly, quality. Top three words that describe HuHut. From the severs that keep your table and buffet lines clean, to the cooks who move quickly and efficiently to get you your food! Awesome place for my family. The cheesecake was top notch!

For me: from being greeted, being seated, to our food was a very pleasant experience. Two notes: I thought the egg drop soup was so overly salty- I couldn't eat it: they did take it off the tab for me. The second: we went a little earlier than the rush. So it was quick; during rush, they had people lined up along the backwards waiting as they can only cook about 12 dishes at a time.

Food was great and the cooks were friendly. Our waiter was useless though. All he did was drop off our drinks and rice and couldn't be bothered with us otherwise. I asked 1 question about the dinner, and he just said he didn't know. He could have gone and gotten the answer for his 20% tip!! I asked someone else, and the answer was the only difference between lunch and dinner is a soup or salad is included. It makes lunch is a better price. There were lots of good options for me being gluten free and my husband not, and also if you are vegetarian or not.
