The Nest Hotel

Good long term stay, not so much if you are looking for single night stays.

We had a great stay at The Nest! We made a last minute reservation, and were very pleased with how extremely clean, cute, and comfortable it was! The bottom unit was a bit noisy with foot traffic from above, but was not bad at all. The hotel staff were kind, and provided great recommendations for local food. And the in-room coffee was delicious! We would definitely stay here again!

This was an all around great experience! The rooms are very clean and modern, and the staff is very helpful. We were upgraded at no charge to a larger room when they found we had not booked one with adequate room for all of us. The area looks a little sketchy, but we had no issues and there are some newer shopping/eating areas not too far away. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean and modern and updated. Everything seemed recently remodeled. Beds were comfy and linens smelled clean and fresh. Big TV with cable and a lot of channels. Breakfast was modest but good enough: 3 choices of cereal, fresh fruit, bagels, individually packaged muffins and pastries, yogurt. Front desk staff was friendly. Location was good with view of the hills. If ever back in Rapid City will stay here again.

This place is a bargain!! They got us in last minute. Matched the online price that we found. Were very helpful. The room we had was newly remodeled and it was so nice! And clean!!! Def a great deal for the price if you don't need the frills of all the other hotels. The only small suggestion I would make is get a different shower head. But that wasn't even a big deal.

The rooms were updated and clean. The beds were firm with a soft top (which is my favorite). Breakfast is sparse but we knew that going in and wanted to visit another breakfast place instead so it worked out. The showers we're large and water pressure good. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Best motel ive been in since I left Michigan. The beds are like the best hotels..the decor is adorable and functional, including ; K cup coffee with mugs, hair dryer, shampoo, lotion, updated everything!
Everything way exceeded our expectations including the customer service which was exemplary.
I would expect to have payed close to a hotel price but didnt! We will definitely be staying again!

What a bargain for a great room! This is a solid motel. All new fixtures and interiors. Beds were comfortable and great for ending the day and getting sleep. Don't expect a 5-star Hilton but for what I paid, I got a great deal and would stay again.

Loved it! A great motel for a fair price. Spacious, comfortable room and great help for a last minute reservation. So appreciated on a very exhausted night. Best place we stayed on a cross-country trip.

Nice hotel, recently renovated, friendly staff. Very clean, modern and comfortable. Nice tv, and bed. Saw staff cleaning rooms and they seem to wash the comforter after each guest. Would love to stay again.

Great little renovated property, better than expected for such a reasonable price. I heard that there's new ownership (but not sure). Very comfortable beds!! Plenty of towels provided. Free SECURED Wi-Fi, coffee in the rooms, overall a cute little property. 😍 (Not the greatest water pressure, but I think that's out of the owner's control.) NO pets or smoking allowed in the rooms.

Ashley is extremely helpful and knowledge about the local/nearby attractions. She has little places she advises trying, and knows the little tricks to get more for your money. 😁

Exceptionally clean. Close to Mount Rushmore if you have a car. The beds and pillows are awesome. If you need a late check-in make sure to call them before 11PM. The breakfast is to go! Nothing fancy, but enough to start your day.

The renovation turned out awesome. The room was very spacious. We would definitely return. The only thing we did not not like, was there was not a good good lock to keep the toddlers from opening the door and go outside.

If I'm ever in south Dakota again, I would definitely stay. We were off season so we received a great discount. The room itself was very big and comfortable. Service was great as well.

Beautiful modern hotel. I surpassed my expectations! Beds are comfortable, bathroom is clean, nice TV and it has a microwave and refrigerator. If im ever here in South Dakota again I would stay again!

i liked the modern décor of the sparse room (the bathroom was hilariously empty looking). the television was enormous. the air conditioning was powerful and worked fast. the window had black out curtains. mile walk to surprisingly delicious restaurants and some fun bars.

Nice facilities. Super comfy beds, pillows are odd but forgivable. The people who worked there are super friendly and extremely helpful. The location leaves a little to be desired but that cannot really be helped, if you are staying in Rapid City, this is the place to do it!

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in after paying just $65 bucks. The room was neat with a coffee machine (with k-cups ofcourse ), a big tv. Bathroom was just huge(probable bigger than the bedroom itself). I am not sure when I'll be back to Rapid city, but if I ever do. This is my place to stay.

Fantastic place to stay for long-term business. Clean, nice location. Friendly owners and staff. Great rooms and prices. I would use it again!

Rooms are clean and spacious. A few items for breakfast are available. The décor is simple and modern and you'll have everything you need: A/C, mini fridge, big tv and the room gets really dark at night. Recommend!
