South County Cafe

Came here for breakfast while staying in Deale. Me, my husband, father, and father in law all agreed we really enjoyed breakfast here. They have a nice variety of pastries and breakfast favorites. Everything was tasty and service was fast and friendly. I liked the process of ordering food at the front counter and then seating yourself. The food came out quickly and was brought to our table. Definitely our favorite breakfast while in the area!

The food is first class. Good selection of dishes. I had the pull pork sandwich which was brilliant, full of flavour. We also had the club chicken sandwich and a chicken ceaser wrap, both very good and big portions!

This is such a cute spot and the food is delish! Sitting out on the porch with our dog and enjoying some delicious sandwiches was perfection. The seafood is fantastic (loved the haddock and crab cakes) but the pulled pork sandwich was our favorite! The pies were also amazing. Definitely make sure to grab a cookie to go!

Excellent food and outstanding service a great stop on the Maryland Roots and tides scenic by way. I had a Italian sandwich and it was amazing. I also love that they have ceramic mugs for coffee.

Nice breakfast spot. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating and a varied coffee menu. I ordered my favorite breakfast- creamed chip beef gravy over toast, and the home fried potatoes were straight up chunks of chopped up potato still with the skin on. Delicious.

Stopped here for breakfast this morning. What a great find! The food was fantastic and healthy portions as well. The staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.

South County Cafe offers fresh breakfast selections in a quaint and pleasant atmosphere. The staff is very helpful and the food is excellent. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch at South County Cafe, and we have been very pleased each time. Whatever you do, get the crispy breakfast potatoes. They are crunchy and delicious!!!

Great spot. Super busy for breakfast but staff is well equipped and super friendly. The pastries and pies are divine. Strong coffee, lots of options and the lunch menu is even bigger. There’s a few outdoor tables and plenty inside.

Best Bacon Burger I've had in a decade or more. Super friendly staff. kudos! Went back for the pork belly burger and the best fries I've ever had in my 68 years.

The food was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. It was a little chilly in there but we still had a great time.

This was my first time here. I had the chicken cheese steak and my friend had the cheese burger. The cheese steak was fantastic and my friend said his cheese burger was delicious as well. I will definitely return.

I have been a regular infrequent diner for about 6 years now. The crab dip was the reason for the first visit. Amazingly good. I have had a few breakfasts and lunches over the years, always satisfying.

Such a great find near our hotel. We had breakfast here each morning and it was delicious. Breakfast BLT, biscuit with egg, sausage and cheese and the bacon egg and cheese english muffin were all awesome. Home fries and coffee were delicious as well. The folks working were so friendly and sweet, it was all around a great spot. We grabbed a cheese danish and apple turnover the morning we were leaving as a snack for the road and they were also great! I highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area.

First time visiting. Very friendly staff. Food, which was tasty!, was ordered at the counter and delivered to our table. I really liked the different rooms for dining. Small groups can tuck away in a cozy corner to chat or larger groups can take over a room and not be a bother to others. We ate breakfast. It arrived quick and was great. I thought the regular roast coffee was strong...my husband thought the dark roast was perfect. I'd definitely visit again if in the area.

Food is great!! Went to the restaurant across the bridge on the water for it's ambiance. Food was blase. Came here the next day after seeing all the good reviews. The reviews were right. The crab cake here was three times the size and tasted way better than the flat one at the other restaurant. Skip the ambiance if you're interested in having a good meal!

Simple cafe food that is made to perfection with quality ingredients. This place is always super clean as well.

I love South County Cafe. I have loved every single meal that I've eaten here. Breakfast lunch and dinner. I even love their ice cream, coffee baked goods. I love the small town feel and I also love that they sell baking goods for holidays. They have the most delicious pies. I also love that you can order online and build up points to get basically free food.
They're amazing and I hope they never close. ❤❤❤

Unique sort of operation. You order food at counter and then they give it to you or seat yourself and they bring it. Food was pretty good but I'll try something different next time. Update: food is getting better, fries are perfect.
