Tri-State Marine Tackle Shop

This is a local bait and tackle store located in Deale MD. It is one of the few bait and tackle stores on the way down to the Chesapeake in Southern Maryland. My first time experience there was met with friendly, and knowledge staff despite arriving just a few minutes before they closed. MARISSA was extremely knowledgeable and answered my questions confidently, and made appropriate suggestions around my wants and needs. She was extremely professional, and genuine which made the whole experience worth driving a bit out of the way to check them out. I’m glad I did. This bait store is very well stocked with rods, reels, rod/reel combos, artificial and live baits, as well as more than enough accessories. They even have items that I can’t find at my normal bait store and have been asking about for a while. To say the least, I will definitely be coming back to Tri-State Marine Tackle Shop for future needs around my fishing supplies. Kudos to Marissa and Tri-State Marine Tackle Shop on a job well done and exceeding your customers expectations!

Absolutely best tackle shop and staff around! They are the epitome of what a local business is to the community. This is my first year not taking a charter trip and decided to try trophy rockfishing on my own. Dawn was so incredibly helpful teaching me the ropes on rockfish gear. Took the time to walk me through everything and was very patient with all my questions. They pulled together everything and even assembled a rig that wasn’t readily available off the shelf. Marissa was great also and when I picked up the gear, it was packaged with a personalized note and some magazine resources. Highly recommend to anybody wanting top notch service and gear from local experts at very reasonable prices.

What a great place located right on the water. Loads of good tackle including a boat launch and gas dock. The staff are super friendly and very helpful too.

Super shop for tackle and some bait for fishing on Chesapeake Bay. One of the few easy access boat ramps with reasonable fee. One of the few places near or on Herring Bay to get fuel and easy docking for that purpose. Sometimes good intel on what’s biting on what....not so much where 😎

VERY helpfull! Saleswoman selected proper assortment of lures and even rigged one. Spent over $100 for what mighht have cost more elsewhere. Also launched boat at their ramp. Would recomment again.

I get bait here all the time. Staff is very helpful and friendly. If your in Deale and need fishing supplies, or a boat ramp this is the place.
