Dr. Parul S. Jani, MD

An excellent doctor with a professional staff is worth the wait to me. I know that Dr. Jani is thorough, attentive and leaves no stone unturned when it comes to helping her patients and getting to the root of what's going on with their health.
When it comes to my health, I want a doctor that takes the time to talk with me, run necessary blood tests, check vitals and other screenings. Sometimes the wait might be longer however, every doctors office in the nation has this problem. A physician's office is not a drive through fast food place. My health and finding the perfect doctor for me is worth the wait during an appointment.

My husband and I see np patty for almost 3 years now and if it were not for her, my husband would be dead. My insurance doesn't always cover medicine that is the best but np patty does what she can do get him samples

So I moved from MD to VA 10 years ago and find myself looking for a doctor that had with Dr. Jani. It's been a journey to finally find one and once I did I went back to read her reviews and can't believe some of the reviews that I'm reading. Hands down she is a very good doctor!!! So much that I have compared her to doctors here in Virginia and it's been difficult! Dr.Jani I truly miss you and love that you always cared about me and you listened! So important

It is true that there can be long wait times, but the level of care Dr. Jani provides is exceptional. She's the first doctor I've ever had that actually looks at my history at every appointment (even if it's just a sinus infection) and is genuinely concerned with my health. IN and OUT
quickly' is an idea that should be applied to picking up fast food, not your health.

I have been referred as a patient since 2013 after surviving Breast Cancer from my Oncologist. I love Dr Jani..because she takes her time and knowledge to educate her patients. It’s true the wait time is long, but a good doctor doesn’t rush through your visit but takes their time to make sure she understands your health issues and you understand what is needed to keep you well, protected and healthy! So by all means, reserve your time to spend it with someone who cares enough to share her time with YOU.

I don't understand why everyone is complaining of wait time. I have never been to any Dr. and been in and out in under 2hours. People complain that their physicians rush them in and out and they don't get the proper level of care. Dr. Jani and NP Smawley dedicate themselves to give their patients the proper level of care and yet they complain about wait time. People have to get rid of that "me"menatlity and stop being in a rush all the time. You want proper care just as all of the other patients walking through those doors. Well, that being said...I love the staff, they are always friendly and smiling, never rude. I highly recommend coming here if quality care is what you're looking for.

I see some reviews from others, but for those who are new & are contemplating see her, I’m going to tell you that you should. A lot of patients can be difficult & I can honestly say that from personal experience. She genuinely cares about her patients & wants them to stay healthy. Unfortunately that can’t be achieved, if patients aren’t open & honest about their medical history with her. She’s like a second mother to me and I’ve been going to her since I was 13 years old. She’s awesome! Yes, the wait time is long, but it’s worth it. I’ve been healthier & happier since going to her & I’ve never been scared to sit in her office to have a conversation with her. She explains everything that’s she’s doing while doing it.

Dr. Jani is the best primary care physician I have had the pleasure of being a patient. She is very through and caring. She listens and spends the necessary time with each patient. I never feel rushed out of the office. With that being said her wait times to be seen can be long but are well worth the wait. She is a genuine, caring physician.

I have been a patient of Dr. Jani's for 19 years. The level of care provided by Dr. Jani should be a model for young residents. Your visit maybe a little lengthy but it's worth it because you're getting "wellness" care, care that doesn't just patch you up but that will keep you healthy. After 9 years, she's become our family's "family doctor" providing care to four generations and other family and friends.

A very pleasant experience .. Parul S. Jani, MD. was very polite and thorough with my needs. Front office staff was friendly. Staff members, such as Sherie, Tia, and Amanda, were also friendly and made my visit comfortable.

Best doctor in world" she really care about her patients she been my doctor my father, sister, cousin, brother in law, we all love her so much. I can't ask for a better doctor it's been 16 years good years with her as my doctor. When office visit she take her time with you and make sure your medications are right, she make you up with all your annuals every year. Most important thing when call and need anything she's right there for you so, yes I vote Dr. Jani S Parul best doctor" I love you Dr Jani you are the best.

Yes, the wait is long HOWEVER it is only because Dr. Jani doesn't rush her patient's. She listens & cares for each one.
