Dairy Queen

The young man on the day we were there was fast, efficient, friendly and all around great. They may have been out of the snickerdoodle cookie dough I was dying to try but he made the best chocolate dipped strawberry blizzard ever! We got two blizzards and we're in and out in about 5 minutes.

We got a lrg chocolate dipped cone. Three cherry slushes.. I'm telling u what. You have to try the cherry slushes, it's delicious and does not taste like it's artificial cherries..

Love the new chicken basket with fries and onion rings. (And Texas toast). Go ahead and try. Add a Coca Cola . 😀

Amazing food and treats. Had chili dog onions rings mr pibb and a brownie dough blizzard. Such a treat for myself after a crazy week.

Husband and I stopped by for lunch.
Delicious food served hot, friendly staff, good banana split for dessert. Wish they had real ice cream instead of soft serve.

Went here for funnel cakes & they were delicious & hot. You have to go inside to purchase though. Waited less than 10 min.

I can't go a week without get my Chocolate Royal Fudge Sundae! Love this place!

This was our first time here. The restaurant is huge. Was totally surprised. Our waitress did a great job & the food was great. My filet was cooked perfect & the hush puppies were delicious. My husband said his flounder was delicious. We were w another couple. And all of us said we will be back again.

I forgot how good Dairy Queen ice cream is. It Bought back childhood memories It was so good.

We have been coming here for a long time. Service is always great and the food/desserts are too! It’s sort of become our family tradition. Me and my husband will take our little fur baby girl and she knows when we are getting close to the drive through window that a nice treat is on the way. The staff takes good care of her! :)

Very clean. Good service, good food and ice cream. There are outside tables, we celebrated Father's Day and my 8 mo old granddaughter got her first taste of ice cream, a blizzard!

This dairy Queen serves real home-cooked meals cube steak and gravy green beans and mashed potatoes ice cream is awesome

Update: The banana split, even though it was more like a large strawberry sundae with a banana, was wonderful!

Wish I had taken a picture of the cherry-dipped cone that the super nice lady put in a bowl for me upside-down! At first I wasn't even going to go here because the drive-thru speaker was down and there was a sign taped on the menu that said to come inside due to the speaker issue. When I parked my car, I looked inside and the place was PACKED. I stood in line for a second and almost walked back to my car just from the stress of how many people were around me. As soon as I went to walk out, the woman at the register says "I can take who's next in line!" - I looked around at everyone who I thought was waiting to have their orders taken, and everyone told me, "no, no, you're next, we're just waiting."....I was DEFINITELY anxious then, because if they were all waiting for food, then should I even risk ordering and waiting forever? lol....all these thoughts were IMMEDIATELY gone when I placed my order, explained to the lady that I had a relatively long car-ride home, and that I was worried it would all melt before I was able to give the icecream to my roommate. She responded like such a pro and I have no idea what the other people ordered, but mine was ready and in the PERFECT container as to avoid melting everywhere for the car ride back, in less than 2 minutes. I ordered, walked over to the area where you get napkins, and my order was ready...it was probably less than a minute, honestly. I appreciate this Dairy Queen so much. Friendly staff, excellent service, and one of the only cherry-dipped options around. ----- the last time I went here with my roommate, the drive-thru was fully functional, so this is clearly not a normal thing. And the quality of food and service here is worth getting out of my car and walking a couple steps lol. I do hope their drive-thru gets fixed soon, but for me it's clearly not an issue. Keep up the awesome job, DQ. I appreciate you!

It was great as usual. But I must ask.. Isnt calling it the Dairy Queen presumptuous? What if it identifies as the Dairy King now? Or the Dairy they Or them ? We really need to get with the times. How about the Dairy them? They have more than one. But If the them is offensive then Dairy they? Oh boy.. I mean oh them they. So I guess it's the Dairy them they. It's still good. Maybe it can now go to the ice cream Olympics and compete in the surfing competition. Since it identifies as a surfer now.? Yikes too many choices. Just like the Dairy they thems ice creams. Yum yum.

It was our first time here. We both got double cheeseburgers and made them into combos. The burgers we're delicious and the staff was friendly. Love the fact that they are family owned. We do recommend this place.

This one is always busy! We waited on the drive thru for a minute but decided to go inside. It went very quickly and we got exactly what we asked for! Good experience!

Food was good but slow it was all made fresh.No inside service but outside tables available.We enjoyed our food in our truck under a shade tree,we enjoyed it.

Do I love my ice cream even though I'm lactose Intolerant?...Yes. Would I skip an opportunity to hit up DQ?...Never!!

Great friendly staff, delicious ice cream, and convenient location in Gastonia of Union Road.

Only downside is the drive thru line will, during peak times, spill out to the main road. It makes it trick to pull especially if making a left turn.
