Tommy's Drive-In

Excellent food and service! It's just off of 321 and 85 in an unassuming building, but it did not disappoint. The burgers were fresh and tasty, the fried pickles were perfect, and the portions were big. Great service has been hard to come by, but Samantha provided exceptional service to us. I don't think our tea glasses got more than 1/4 down before she refilled throughout our meal. I would highly recommend skipping the typical in fast food places around, and visit this place!

Let me tell you if you love a good chuckwagon sandwich, you need to go to Tommys drive in. You will not be disappointed with quality or price. It is well worth the price. Melts in your mouth and its big. I will definitely be returning there. Best ive ever ever had. Thank You for such a delicious sandwich.

Good food on 321 near interstate 85. Service was great and attentive. They made a fresh pot of coffee and came back with refills twice. We were even greeted with a 'Come back to see us' on our way out.

I got there right before they opened up. The lady was very nice and let me place my order and said it's be just a few minutes. I wasn't in a hurry so I told her for everyone to take their time. But a few minutes later here she come with my two milk shakes, my drink, burger and ffry.
Thanks to all at Tommy's. Yaw make a great team.

My burnt bologna was AWESOME!! Been craving it for a while. The large (2 cheese) cheeseburger was on point and my son enjoyed the poor-girl(kinda like a lotta burger) the onion rings and bacon cheese fries were delicious and their fried pickles...😋😋😋 We will definitely be back!!

My go to once a week (at least) with family. Best Cherry Lemon Sundrop set up around, and no matter what you order...its served by waitresses who care your meal and service are great. Been coming here since I was a kid. Its a staple. And the current staff there are wonderful.

Had lunch there today for the first time and everything was so good. We had the pineapple short cake with ice cream while we waited for our meal. It was so good and the food was fresh and delicious. Will definitely go there again, more than I could eat.

Took my wife for Valentine's day. This is the best eating joint in Gastonia. They have been there forever for good reason. The food and service is top notch. You must try the fried dill pickles! Get yourself a cherry Sundrop setup and take your pick of the menu. EVERYTHING is terrific. If you want the nostalgia of a 1950's drive-in while eating delicious food, Tommy's is the place. They have dine in and drive up carhop service. And they are right on hwy. 321 so easy in and out. You can't lose. Dang, I'm ready to go back!!

Update: After my daughter worked here for a few weeks, she let me know how stuff is really done and I will not eat here again.

This place is a gem in Gastonia, I love the Club basket which is so good. The wait is not bad at all, and the food is good.

Delicious burger and very well seasoned fries. Waitress was nice and food arrived quicly!
