Nice portions of filet of flounder. My wife had the jumbo shrimp. We always ask our server to hold our ticket until we get starred on our salad , if not, your food will be out too soon. Really good salad bar. Quite pleased with Captains Cap.

Always great food and service, we have eaten here for years (father cannot get enough seafood). My grilled fish was steaming hot, hush puppies were crispy.

This was our first time dining. The steak was tender and juicy.The salad bar was wonderful and the proportions were overfilling. Service was great! We will definitely be coming back and the hour drive will be well worth it. Thank you

The food is fresh & some fish is marinated before cooking so rich in flavor! My favorite is the grilled Maui Maui & hush puppies aren't greasy but have a great onion flavor! Fresh salad bars & friendly staff!

Jean barber and miss Dixie have always given me the best customer service. The food is always phenomenal. The wings, scallops, and broiled shrimp never disappoint. Highly recommended establishment.

Old hometown feel. Having grown up in a renown seafood town on the coast, I can say this is as good as it gets. Best hush poppies around. Seafood was fried to perfection. Highly recommended.

Delicious meal! Haven’t been here in awhile but it was still as good as always! Best service around! Our waitress has been there for over 19 years Wow! Awesome salad bar too.

Outstanding service and food here, very impressed! The price is hard to beat, and it is clearly a favorite of the local crowd - always a good sign. The batter in particular was very well made, not too thick or overly salted.

Had a very nice visit at the Captain's Cap in Gastonia. Tabitha was a wonderful waitress and she made our stay most comfortable.

I love the Captain's Cap on Linwood. Food is great! Salad bar is my favorite, no maybe the hush puppies. Really, everything is good.

Absolutely the best fish in town. I'm very picky about fish, and I will not buy it anywhere else than Captions Cap. And when I eat in, the service is so good. I fill like I'm at home eating. The best place for carryout, or eat-in.
