Don Pedro Mexican Restaurant

You couldn't tell by the outside that it's beautiful and spacious inside. Our waitress was great and the food as well. I spent a lot of time looking for authentic Mexican and I finally found it!!

We loved our first visit! The waiters were very quick and friendly. The food was great! The plates are huge! Inside decor is unique throughout. The restaurant was pretty busy,, but we got a table right away, as well as our food.
We got our desserts to go so the photos do not really do them justice. Didn't take away from thier taste though! We will definitely be back.

Me and Deborah And my daughter And grandson. Went there last night it was our 1st time being there. I can tell you not only is the food good. But you get a lot of it. We had guacamole and it was prepared at our table. It was fun to watch. We got one regular and 1 spicy. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the products. And they also have what you would call a Mexican menu. And that is things that are served in Mexico and the spices. Anyway it was a good time suggest you going there. We also had an awesome dessert. I hope this helps And you like it.

I love this place...they have some of the best salsa and chips around...on my most recent visit the rice which is my favorite there had absolutely no flavor...I think someone missed a step because they are always spot on...

This has been one of my top 5 Mexican restaurants. The atmosphere was great! Decor was awesome. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Worth the time to try it. You shouldn't be disappointed.

Really good food, great service. We walked in around 7:30pm on a Saturday night and didn't have to wait to be seated. The only downside was there was a long wait to get our food from the kitchen. There was a big party in there so they were probably backed up from them. All in all a good trip. We'll be back for sure.

Honestly I doubted how amazing this place would be. Hard to believe such a place would be in Gastonia, NC. I've lived in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Atlanta. I've spent a lot of time in New York, Stockton CA, and Miami. My go to food is Mexican cuisine, and I can say Don Pedro's is my #1 place today.

They have both authentic Mexican and Americanized. They have something everyone will enjoy.

Taco Tuesday here is the best! Lil bit of a drive for me but 💯 worth it!

Very good food and atmosphere, loved the unusual decor , large comfortable booths , had the bacon wrapped shrimp and it was very good , the salsa is the best in the area, staff was awesome, very friendly, 5 stars for the best salsa and atmosphere for a Mexican restaurant in Gastonia, Thank you!
