DMV Orange County License Plate Agency - Tarheel Tags

I bought a used car and came in here to get a plate and register my car. I came one hour before they closed on a weekday and there was absolutely no line. A gentleman helped me do everything in five minutes. All I needed was my license and my car title. He helped me sort what I needed. We finished in just a few minutes. I got my plate immediately.

This was the best DMV experience I've ever had. There was virtually no line when I came in and the customer service was excellent. I was in and out within 10 minutes. I almost don't want to review so this place can stay a secret!

I was in and out in 5 minutes and staff was extremely polite/efficient.

I can't remember the name of the woman who took care of me but she was insanely nice and the license plate office was a breeze. In and out. The DMV in the same plaza for the actual license office was a 4.5 hr wait time, although that woman wasn't flat out rude, She did have an attitude. The wait was actually not too bad. 4.5 hrs is probably a record in DMV dealings lol

Technically not a government agency, but contractors here doing tag-and-title stuff. Friendly and quick, with no wait on a Friday afternoon. What more could you ask for?

One of the best DMV experiences I’ve ever had! The staff is super kind and friendly, and understanding if you get confused or flustered. It was also a super quick visit; I went in around 2 pm on a Wednesday and I was in and out in 15 min.

This is the nicest DMV office. The staff is very professional and polite. They were very efficient doesn’t matter whether it is a renewal or title transfer. Never spent more that 30 minutes there. Which is got to be record for DMV office.

Very convenient location and always staffed by friendly and helpful agents! I've never had a wait longer than 15 minutes here and I've always been able to accomplish what I need to accomplish. They also sell decals and vanity plates at this location, as well as mounting screws for your license plate.

Had to resolve a license plate issue I had let drag on for far too long, and both visits (one first thing in the morning, one mid-afternoon) were efficient, friendly, and nobody made me feel bad for having let the situation go on as long as I had (I felt bad about it but no employee was anything but straightforward on how to fix it fast!). Resolved happily in a total of about 15 minutes. By far the best DMV experience I’ve ever had.

Much much much better than the one at Durham!!! At least you don’t need to stand outside waiting for 3 hrs and still cannot get in because they’re in a lunch break between 11am-2pm…

Having to get in and out was Great,had alot on the schedule for the Day,and I usely Dread going to DMV but it was Pretty quick,and it was Appreciated.

I made two visits to this office today and two different people waited on me. They were both professional, very helpful and kind. I made an earlier visit in January and had a similar experience with a third agent. Kudos to this office!

Love this place! Odd I know! This is a DMV review right? No need to double check, rest assured this is a NCDMV vehicle titling location! They are friendly and helpful with anything you need to do. The young lady who works titles is amazing. She's fast, accurate and knows her stuff. I've had the pleasure of working with her one multiple occasions since 2021 began and each time she has been wonderful to work with. If you need to title a vehicle go here! As long as you have your paperwork and cash for notary, it will take you no time! Please look up the documents needed to title a vehicle on the NCDMV page, they have everything you need listed there. The only struggle I've seen is when someone had no docs whatsoever, no cash on hand and had done 0 research.

Came in around 9:30 on a Thursday morning and was helped immediately. My title transfer took about 5 minutes total - the most painless DMV experience I've ever had. It was $5 cash for a notary fee and the rest of the fees could be paid by card.

Undoubtedly the best experience I have ever had in a tag office. There was a line of people, but the staff worked so efficiently that I was out in under 10 minutes. Amazing!

Every conversation I hear about the DMV, always ends with negative comments about the agency. Well, I've been to the DMV three times since the beginning of this Pandemic. Twice to the license bureau, and once to the registration and license plate bureau. Each experience was quick, to the point, and thorough. All three agents were pleasant and very helpful.
