Food Lion

This food lion is for the folks that don't know how to get to carrboro plaza. I'm mostly kidding because I've actually been hate crimed and robbed at carrboro plaza and I never had trouble at this one except yesterday they were out of ice. When I was robbed outside of the other food lion I was still young, so it shaped my entire future. It molded me. Food lion scarred me for life, but I still go back. It's like Stockholm syndrome or something.

This is my first experience at this store, and I’m regretting not going sooner. I had an amazing experience here, ten times better than every experience I’ve ever had at Harris Teeter, Lowe’s foods, Wegmans, Walmart, etc. The produce was extremely fresh and fully stocked. A worker was walking around and cleaning/organizing/restocking the produce too and seemed to be doing a great job at it. The cashier who checked me out was very nice while also being very efficient. I would recommend this grocery store to anyone, especially if you want GREAT groceries for really good prices. The customer service was great, and they really do a great job at taking care of the food to make sure it’s fresh. 10/10 experience

I've been to this store a couple of times. Honestly; I've found a better store layout. More care paid to the produce presentation. More variety. I like this store!

Had the GREATEST experience with a guy by the name of Doug yesterday. He was very kind and helped me find everything that I was looking for in the store. He had the friendliest smile and demeanor. This one experience had me ecstatic about continuing to work at this store. Mr Doug thank you so much for your kindness and professionalism!!

Clean and convenient. A great place to shop for NC sourced products. The Food Lion brand of products are very competitive to brand name products. Great destination to call home to your grocery shopping needs.

Clean, well-lit store. Shelves are always well-stocked. Good produce section. Lots of Hispanic food products. Staff are friendly and helpful. There's never a wait at the check-out and there's plenty of parking.

Food Lion is my only choice for my grocery needs! They carry allof the items i would want, at the best reasonal price I have found!
The store is very neat and clean and fresh smelling! I have gone into a Harris Teeter, and the moment I stepped inside there was an odor that instantly turned my stomach! One of the products I was looking for, they did not carry ! Another product that I wanted was 2 times more expensive than my Food Lion! I went to the other grocery store because I was right near it and strolled through and left the store empty handed and called a cab to go to my Food Lion! I will never go.into that Harris Teeter no matter how close and will tell them not to enter unless you have money to burn and your nose hasn't got the ability to smell! Food Lion is my Grocery Store!!

When Bessie is working she always friendly and makes me feel welcome. She an older African American lady. I enjoy shopping in there when she is working. The Food Lion on Jones Ferry Road in Carrboro North Carolina.

The people who work there are nice and personable (at least in my experience) and I've seen them handle stressful customers with grace. Good selection too, of course 👍

It felt like a neighborhood market. We were greeted deli servers and cashiers.

The staff have been really nice during the pandemic and the store stays better stocked than a couple other fl (weaver dairy RD and Carrboro plaza.

Cool little international section, the only place I could find cane sugar Coke sheet Costco stopped stocking it.

Good quality produce at a reasonable cost. Wide selection of basic groceries. Won't take a whole paycheck for a week's groceries.

This location keeps their items in stock. Never too many shoppers here, checkout is always quick and easy!

Store is always clean and cashiers are ok on customer service. Register lines are not too long most of the time.

I miss being able to shop at Food Lion. Unfortunately there aren't any in my area. They always have great deals or specials!
