A Thyme Savor helped to make our wedding dream at Wrightsville Manor come true! The food was delicious, fresh, and highly-complimented by all our guests. Liz was wonderful from the moment we emailed with questions, to the tasting and all that followed - she worked with us to create a menu that would work with our budget, but also still include our favorites. The value was excellent. Our guests couldn’t get enough of the appetizers especially the chicken & waffles and the kids loved the macaroni & cheese bar! The staff was gracious, warm, and attentive. Thanks so much again for a wonderful and memorable evening!

From the cocktail hour to our main meal and wrapping up the night with a Taco Bar, we couldn't have imagined the food to be any better. We were spoiled with so many wonderful options, and each one was more delicious than the next!

Most importantly, their team ((we worked very closely with Liz)) was absolutely incredible! From the initial inquiry, they were willing to go the extra mile and were so accommodating during our food tasting and the entire planning process ((we frequently visit their restaurant now too)).

I got married on April 1st, 2023 and chose A Thyme Savor as our caterer. I had previously sampled their food at a friend's wedding, and it was some of the best ahi tuna I'd ever had. We also selected their alcohol package. Although the bill was by far our largest wedding expense, it was worth every penny. We were able to select a menu that truly catered to our guests tastes. Liz was great to work with, helping adjust the order as needed. During our cocktail hour, we opted to go with the huge Southern Roots display, which was pleasing to the eye, and to our guests, who didn't have to hunt down waiters for a passed hors d'oeuvre. For our main courses, the coq au vin was tender and rich, the butternut squash polenta cakes were to die for, and the baked salmon with champagne sauce was incredibly fresh. So glad that we made the choice to go with A Thyme Savor.

A Thyme Savor blew us away from the first appetizer we tried at our tasting all the way to the last bite at the wedding! They are a top-notch caterer, and you will not regret booking them for your big day. Liz and the rest of the team were very helpful with crafting a menu that fit our personal preferences and budget and we couldn’t have been happier with the result! We celebrated our wedding at Wrightsville Manor and our guests loved the hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour and the delicious buffet that followed. Liz was even in the middle of planning her own wedding but she made us feel like her #1 priority, she is such an amazing person! We highly recommend choosing A Thyme Savor to cater your wedding!

DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK THYME SAVOR CATERING! Thyme Savor catered our wedding on October 28, 2023, and everything was truly out of this world. The food was perfect, so delicious! The service was amazing. Our guests raved about the food for WEEKS following the wedding. I cannot thank them enough for helping our wedding dreams come true. Liz is absolutely amazing. There is no other person I would trust with my catering needs. She was so responsive, answered all my questions, and offered assistance whenever I needed it. She made the process so incredibly easy. There is no other choice but Thyme Savor, so if you can book them, DO IT. I just need to have another event so I can have them cater for me again!

I recently had A Thyme Savor cater a bridal shower. They were so patient and helpful. I booked them pre-Covid so had to reschedule. Last minute the venue wasn't able to host our event and there were a number of changes. Lindsey was incredibly patient and accommodating.
The food was incredibly delicious and the presentation was impressive! There were so many compliments! The guests particularly loved the shrimp and grits and the tomato pies...the two items listed on their website as award winning!
I will definitly use them again and would highly recommend! You will impress your guests with beautiful and delicious food!

If you're on Castle Street and even if you're not, get to Thyme Savor! The crowd of people will let you know you're at the right place. The food is amazing! The staff is excellent and takes great care of their customers. Everything about this place will make you want to come back, and we will definitely be back!

The food was truly delicious. I had so many people coming up to me at the wedding talking about how good the food was. My husband and I knew we did not want typical wedding food that was bland/dry/boring and ATS was amazing! Flavorful, fresh, delicious and beautiful presentation.

5 STARS!! A Thyme Savor Catering was a key part of making my wedding day so magical! We chose the Taste of Italy for cocktail hour which was a beautifully displayed charcuterie spread. Every aspect of this spread was very detailed and absolutely delicious. Our guests could not stop taking pictures of the display and even took to-go plates into the reception. To top it off, we chose the Little Italy dinner buffet. We had penne pasta with three options of sauce: Pesto cream, marinara and alfredo. We paired this with meatballs, Italian chicken and fresh garlic bread. We also added the salad and roasted vegetable display. All of this was a big hit with our guests. People went back for seconds….and thirds. A month later, and my wedding guests are still raving about my wedding! Look no further, book with confidence to make your wedding food just as memorable! Shout out to Liz with A Thyme Savor! She was a joy to work with and answered all my questions promptly.

A Thyme Savor catered our wedding rehearsal dinner and it was perfection! Everyone is still talking about the food. In addition to the most delicious appetizers, dinner, and desserts, I greatly appreciated the support and input from Liz as we selected the menu, and the professionalism of the staff as they prepared and served our guests. Delectable food, punctual service, and highly communicative folks. The chef is a genius. Everything we ate had a unique and charming flavor profile. Our POC at Thyme Savor, Liz, gave us quick responses and helped us create the perfect menu for our guests. She’s a gem and a great representation of how well the whole organization runs.
On the day of the wedding, our guests were blown away with the whole experience, from cocktail hour snacks to kahlua pound cake bites. The event staff had bright smiles and were endlessly patient with us. We truly enjoyed every little thing. Thank you!

This place will be tough to beat as my new favorite. Pancakes, biscuits, eggs, grits and coffee were all perfection. The service is beyond great and please try the coffee.... amazing.

Wonderful catering experience! From the ease in putting in the order with Liz to the timely and conscientious set up by Aaron the morning of our baby shower brunch - everything was perfection! The food was incredible! Gourmet, locally-sourced, tasted made-from-scratch, and beautifully presented. Everything was so flavorful - and honestly, the best shrimp and grits I've ever had. 1000% recommend. Thanks again for making our event so special.

My wedding is about a year away but I had to write this review early. My fiancé, mother and I were welcomed by Liz and her team a few weeks ago for our tasting and it was nothing short of phenomenal. The food was beyond amazing and we still discuss it daily. We have raves about this to our friends and family but I wanted to post this online for others. This is by far the thing I am most excited about for our big day. Liz has been absolutely wonderful to work and we cannot wait for the actual wedding. If you’re considering A Thyme Savor, do it.

UPDATE: we had our wedding! Our guests could not stop raving about the food. This is the best wedding food we've ever had. The staff was even better. I would recommend A Thyme Savor time and time again!

They make the best grits I've ever had! The biscuits are huge!! And the bacon has a sweet maple flavor. Everything I've tried here is delicious!!

Cannot say enough good things about Liz and her team at Thyme Savor! Our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was at our wedding. On top of that the service was excellent! They made sure to take care of the wedding party and family during photos while also attending to our guests enjoying cocktail hour. We did food stations around the corners of our venue which was a little unique and Thyme Savor still knocked it out of the park! The carving station, shrimp and grits, and scallops were particularly huge hits with everyone. We will be going to them for any future catered events!

The food was amazing at my wedding! Everyone loved it! They were so professional and worked seamlessly with my other vendors. We are eating the extra food and are excited about it. It was so good! Very responsive throughout the planning process as well! I would pick them again!

Wow wow wow! We were so amazed on our wedding day at how fantastic A Thyme Savor executed the food for all of our guests. We received so many compliments from the guests that the food was delicious. As soon as the passed appetizers came out at cocktail hour people were running towards them, making sure they could try all the different options. During dinner the staff were so kind and accommodating in bringing out all the food and we couldn’t have been happier with the desserts they were so cute!! Liz was amazing during the entire process and we are so grateful for whole Thyme Savor Team!

These folks catered out wedding several years ago, and it was out of this world! Just had an 80th birthday celebration for my husband, and this time used their pickup service for our home celebration. We had Strawberry Salad, Pork Tenderloin, Lemon and Parmesan Cheese Broccoli, and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. All dishes were just as fabulous as we remembered. Loved being able to pick up our food, which was packed in aluminum pans with complete instructions on each pan. Dressings, sauces were on the side. A great arrangement! We will use them again! Very, very happy with this delicious food!

Our Company, Linen and Lace NC, loves A Thyme Savor! The food is out of this world, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Working with them was an excellent experience, as they were easy to schedule with, quick in communication, and their staff on site went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating- very professional. Top all that off with the fact that they can create stunning meals for special diets... What's not to love!
