Kobe Teppan & Sushi

I had a bit of a sushi craving but particularly for uni which this establishment does not have. Even so, the sushi they had was quite delicious including scallops, clams and tamago (egg) my favorite being the latter. The staff was also attentive refilling my water as needed. Not bad but the quest continues for my uni fix.

This was literally the most fun I have ever had at dinner. The food was fantastic! I had the salmon, and my wife had the NY strip. I will definitely be going back soon.

This place is great! The hibachi chefs are hilarious and will keep you busy with sake shots from a squirt bottle, fire in your dinner plate, and just good old fun. They do use a lot of fire, so (press on eye lash wearer's) beware, you may wanna scoot back a little bit.
The food was seasoned well, properly cooked and the portions were adequate.
There could be a significant wait if you don't make a reservation, so plan ahead. Also, if you have a smaller party, you will end up sitting at a table with other people. Not a problem, really, but if you're a first-timer, dont be surprised.
I'll definitely be coming back.

Shout out to Waitress Manny, whom was extremely attentive and got along well with my autistic brother. She was very quick to replace drinks and caught up with our food orders. She had also accommodated and was understanding of my father's dietary restrictions.

We had a really great experience! We didn’t have to wait but a few mins and the waitress came for our drink orders first thing and she was really great about checking on you too. We had a very funny cook, easy to get along with and relate with the guests. I did the Sake shot about 3x hahaha he was very generous lol food was really good and enjoyed the company of the others at the table also. I ordered hot Sake also. We spent $65 (before tip) both got separate entrees and 4 alcohol beverages.

I love getting the all you can eat sushi here. It's all so good. The service is always fast. My wife loves getting the hibachi. It can sometimes be a little warm in here, but I'm not going to let that stop me from loving the sushi. Lol.

First time visiting here. Great hand rolled sushi made to order. All you can eat.. but order only what you can finish, otherwise there is a charge for leftovers. Full menu available for those that don't like sushi. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was pleasant as well. Definitely will come here again.

Great service. Loved that the waiter was very attentive and super helpful. Everything was delicious. Kid friendly. Rolls came quick and everything was excellent. Drinks were super delicious. We will definitely be back.

Nothing short of fantastic. Hostess, Waitstaff, service...everyone was professional and friendly. Plenty of drink selections. Food was amazing. Had the All You Can Eat sushi. I thought my first order was conservative. I was wrong. I still ate all my food; but I was stuffed. Didn't have room for a second order. Food was sooo good though, I wanted more!

My family & I are regulars here for a reason. The all-you-can-eat sushi is a delight, my S/O adores the non-sushi items, and the service is on point.
Very rarely do I have to wait for service, and even on the rare times I do, it's because the place is packed (and if you're the type to get mad at waitstaff because they aren't just serving you, you shouldn't be allowed to eat out).
The place is clean, well kept, and overall feels good to be at. My ONLY complaint is that it can be quite noisy at times, but that's to be expected when a hibachi grill is involved. Showmanship is part of the experience, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Overall, I live an easy 30 minutes across town from Kobe, and it's always worth the drive. If you like sushi, or Japanese food in general, this is one of the few places I recommend actively going out of your way for.

I come here all the time and order several plates with my roommate. Absolutely delicious, always. I love their dinner menu, my roommate and I always use this as our go-to place. Attached are various different trips on different dates- we order different stuff, and also some of the same so you can see consistency. Staff is incredible, super fun, and also have a great sense of style. Though the last time we went was the first time we had a bad waitress, and of course it was with a forced tip. Blonde girl with a ponytail, rolled her eyes, forgot to bring us things, and was kinda rude. I always tip decently, but that girl wouldn't have gotten much from me. Bright side of that though- out of the 20 times we've gone, a single bad waitress.
My favorites are the double J, shaggy dog, crunchy rainbow, and the escolar for premium. The crab salad, miso, and chicken katsu are also absolutely incredible, and I love that I can get so much food for so cheap! Warning though, if you take more than 4 people they automatically add a 15% tip for you

Walked in a little after noon today and was promptly seated. Waitress was friendly and service was on point. Food was fresh and really good!
I will definitely be back to try some new things!

We ordered the following:
Sushi sampler (4 piece chef's choice)

Chicken katsu (Japanese fried chicken)

Hawaii roll (consists of coconut shrimp, kani, cucumber, topped with kiwi and marmalade sauce)

Double "j" roll (consists of crab, cream cheese, avocado, rolled in soy paper, yum-yum, and eel sauce)

Strawberry margarita, sake, sweet tea, and a couple of beers (no drinks pictured except the margarita)

Note, normally I don't eat kiwi and had never had eel sauce so I was a bit scared but was REALLY good!

We went to celebrate my Mom's and my birthdays. Our chef was wonderful and very entertaining. Most of us ordered steaks, and he got everyone's orders correct and at the right temperature. If you want a fun, family dinner for a celebration, this is the perfect location.

The best all you can eat sushi place in San Antonio. Menu selection is great and the sushi is made fresh.

Never disappointed with my visits here and have brought many a friend. All you can eat includes appetizers and soups.

I've loved almost every roll I've tried here with maybe the exception of 1 or two.

Service can be hit or miss, but the food is always excellent.

Have tried nearly half the menu so far. Other than the lack of dessert on the ayce menu, for the price I still feel this is one of the best in town.

My waiter tonight Steven was great. Quick service, very friendly and knowledgable about all the sushi rolls.

Their all you can eat menu is very reasonable. I don't know how they make money out of it.
We had some rolls, nigiris and some appetizers. They are very good and unique.
We will come back again.😋

The food is always delicious. I love the hot green tea. The service is quick and if you want an off key happy birthday song, they will accommodate that as well.

This place is amazing!!!! The best sushi I’ve ever had, you gotta try their all you can eat sushi. Fresh and delicious!

My husband and I stopped for lunch in Kobe. First class attention. The order was on the table before she thought. And Japanese food, you know, it's fresh, natural, my husband asked for something spicy, being Mexican, it was delicious. I ate until I couldn't anymore. A cozy place with excellent food. In addition, the show of the Chefs when preparing the food in front of their clients, spectacular. Delicious food

My son took me to lunch here on Tuesday Wednesday and Friday. He earned his first big check and wanted to spoil his momma. This is my absolute favorite restaurant and we have been coming here since my son was 12/13 he's now turning 21 in August. We've celebrated so many birthdays and have had such great memories here. When the food is perfect and fresh and the service is excellent ALL you can remember is the time shared with the ones that sat at your table. #KobeForLife

I really enjoy coming her for the regular dining section. We do have a choice to order from the regular menu or the all you can eat menu. Please make sure you read the fine print regarding leftovers and sharing. We always have a GREAT experience here during lunch and dinner.
