What a gem! Perfect spot for girls night out or date night. I have to start with the service because it was FIRST CLASS! It was on par with the finest restaurants I’ve ever dined in. The menu offers modern, gourmet dishes with something for everyone. It’s fresh, unique, well prepared and the presentation was on point! I could write a novel on the butter cake but your time would be much better spent going to try it for yourself! Lastly the wine and drink menu was fabulous! This is a MUST for anyone in Johnson City and my new go to!

I was blown AWAY by how good this restaurant is. I went with my band mates the day after a gig from out-of-town and we were all astounded at how good the food is.

We were seated almost immediately. Soon after, we placed orders for mimosas which seemed to come immediately after. The waitress was VERY kind to address any dietary restrictions or concerns we had.

I ordered the Herb Goat Cheese BLT. 🤤 This sandwich was an amazing option for those who cannot eat cow products like myself. It was perfectly cooked and toasted. I counted at least three different flavor profiles in tandem hitting my taste buds on the first bite.

I chose to eat slower, so as to savor each bite. Furthermore, the herb roasted potatoes were PERFECTLY seasoned. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant for anyone who is traveling from out of town and looking for a brunch spot.

Cafe Lola is amazing! The atmosphere is unique and all of the food is incredible. Their pear martini is one of the best drinks I’ve ever had!

Second visit this week! We went for dinner on Saturday and were not disappointed! Very nice atmosphere, I’d recommend reservations but we were lucky enough to get seated without at that time. Had the four cheese lasagna and mans had the steak. Very nice presentation and the food was delicious. Waiter was very attentive and friendly. Went back today to try lunch and were again amazed! I opted for the four cheese lasagna (yes again) and it was fantastic, side Caesar salad. Mans had the turkey panini with avocado and he loved it! We will definitely make this one of our go-to places!

It's a small restaurant with a limited menu. They do have daily special. The waitress was friendly and answered our questions cheerfully. I ordered the 1/2 sandwich and soup. The sandwich was the goat cheese blt panini which was loaded with bacon and tomato basil soup. Both were good,definitely would order them again. My mother ordered the 1/2 reuben panini and Ceasars salad. Said it had the right amount of sauerkraut and dressing. The ceasar dressing was so good.
Definitely will go back.

Cafe Lola was such a pleasant experience. A wide variety of wine selections, a great choice of craft beer, and wonderful options for food. I had their walnut crusted stuffed chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. For dessert we shared the crème brûlée and warm maple cake. All of it was top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Such a wonderful experience! The service is incredible and so is the food. The Executive Chef Michelle was incredibly helpful and kind when dealing with a gluten allergy. If you have celiac or gluten sensitivity - call ahead and they will be happy to accommodate. Cant recommend them enough!!

My husband and I have been eating at Cafe Lola for years. The food and atmosphere are always amazing. The bacon wrapped dates are simple and delicious. We also love the chorizo hand pies. The cranberry walnut chicken is my all-time favorite entree here. Cafe Lola is perfect for a date night or celebration.

Cafe Lola has a great atmosphere, food, and service. It’s one of my favorite spots, and I’m so glad it’s in the tri-cities! We mostly have dinner there, but I LOVE their brunch and special events like wine pairings or teas.

Came to celebrate my birthday and everything was fantastic. I would recommend this place and anything on the menu. The drinks paired well with the dishes.

- Stuffed chicken with Cranberry-Walnut crust
- Brown butter cake
- Old Fashion
- California Swinger
- Espresso martini

Delightful gem of a restaurant. Located in a strip mall, cozy and intimate with great service and even better food. Mussels appetizer was delicious. Stuffed chicken signature dish did not disappoint. Fish lovers will have several choices. My Maple pecan crusted salmon was beyond wonderful. A must visit when you are in Johnson City.

It was a lovely dinner. I especially like the atmosphere.
The server was great, but they were short staffed, so other staff assisted.

I was happy to finally try this place and really enjoyed my food. When I first walked in, it took my walking back and forth between the two dining rooms a couple of times and standing in one spot for a few minutes for someone to finally tell me I could sit wherever I wanted. Other than that, the food was great. I wasn’t able to try the drinks yet, but I have heard great things. I got the panini with cranberry and loved it. The house dressing for the salad was so flavorful! I can’t wait to go back.

We love Cafe Lola's for brunch. A full range of brunch options at very reasonable prices. It can be a bit noisy.

Went for their Easter Brunch. The had a special menu offering several items, I elected to have the bread pudding with banana foster topping. When it came I realized it was much more a dessert than lunch entree and had to order another entree. The staffs reaction was great and unexpected. First they wanted to make sure everything was okay with the plate I ordered. I assured them it was great just a bit sweet for me and ordered the mac/cheese with salad. I expected to sit there and watch my hubby eat his food while I waited. I did not wait long. Service was great and understanding of my reorder. Food was great as always but if you get a chance order the bread pudding with banana foster topping it was one of the best things I have ever eaten but still a dessert.

Dont judge a book by its cover! I’m a country boy and get turned off by the term cafe and bistro.... Their braised ham was delicious, my wife had the fillet and it was awesome, would definitely recommend to someone that loves good cooking and has an appetite. No wonder you guys are #1 on Yelp.

Total hidden gem! One of the first places we went when we moved here, and we love to go for a late breakfast. The food is fresh and the place is nice and small. The staff is always very attentive and friendly.

My husband and I came here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We didn't realize that they closed each day at 3:00 pm between lunch and dinner. Despite us arriving 15 minutes before they closed, they welcomed us in, and served us a delicious meal. And if that weren't enough, our server surprised us with the most wonderful Crème brûlée!

The atmosphere was warm and cozy, the food was scrumptious, and the service impeccable.

Thank you for making our celebration so special.
