Firewheel Christian Academy

Firewheel Christian Academy is such a great little school that has both a preschool/mother's day out and a private school for kinder through 8th grade.  We have only attended in a preschool/mother's day out/summer camp capacity but have had a great experience!  My almost 4 year old goes 5 days a week and loves it!  They give parents a ton of flexibility in terms of before care (7-9am) and after care (2pm-5pm) which is so helpful when parents have a non-traditional job.  My son has learned a ton and what's even better is I feel like all of the teachers are always very kind to him.  He is in K3 which is the 3 year old preschool that does not take naps and kids have to be potty trained.  He has one teacher (not people rotating in and out) and he has learned so much.  The administration is also wonderful and so very kind too.  Great school!!!

We are head over heels in love with Firewheel Christian Academy in Garland, TX! We send all three of our children there and next year we will celebrate our fifth year of enrollment. They have grown so much academically and in their love for Jesus! My son was reading and writing cursive in Kindergarten. The teachers outdo themselves and send home the best crafts and end of season gifts! It’s totally affordable and worth our drive (we live well over an hour away!). ❤❤❤❤❤

I love FCA and their preschool/mother’s day out program! I had my 2 teenagers attend when they were toddlers and now I have my toddler attending. I can say the love from the teachers & staff and care hasn’t changed since my first one attended 11 years ago. My toddler loves going everyday and she is learning so much! I know FCA played a big role in my 2 teens getting into magnet schools when they entered public school as a kindergartener. I would definitely give it a try, they have been a blessing to my family.

My 2 daughters have gone to FCA for a few years. They both have very different personalities and the teachers have adapted so well to them. My heart is so happy when my daughters sing Jesus loves me or quote scripture they learned in school. I’m so proud of the growth they have had in their education and spiritual life. They go 5 days a week, one daughter is 2 and my oldest is in K-4. The teachers are amazing and we absolutely adore Mrs. Parott!! We love the school and the love they show our girls! We have recommended to our friends and they love it there too. Best decision we have made for our girls.

I am a proud parent and alumni of FCA! I am very glad that I made the decision to have my child apart of this ministry. Every teacher that my son have experienced were PHENOMENAL!!! The Principal Mrs. Fuchs is the BEST with a BEAUTIFUL spirit!! Mrs. Hyatt in the business office is AMAZING! All of the staff there are GREAT! It's an affordable, diverse, and they LOVE all of their students!! One of the best choices that I could have made #GoEagles 💙❤

We absolutely love FCA! Our girls had amazing and loving teachers whom cared deeply for their academic growth and safety. The environment is cute and cozy. We highly recommend other families to become part of the FCA community!

Both my kids have attended FCA and have absolutely loved it! I love knowing my daughter is learning her abcs and more, and about God. All the staff is friendly and I just love all the teachers that work there especially Ms. Stephanie 😊 Great school and great community!

My daughter has attended FCA since she was two years old and now she is 10. My daughter loves FCA! The teachers at FCA are great. We have been very pleased with the education she has received in a caring and loving environment.

Our son attended FCA from 3rd thru 8th (at that time they had grades 7 and 8). The smaller classes were a great fit for him. There was firm discipline with lots of grace which provided him with good boundaries. The curriculum was very good and set him on a firm foundation for when he entered high school. Most of all, we appreciate to this day the spiritual support being in a Christian school gave. He heard God's Word daily and learned how to apply it to his life. His walk with the Lord was greatly nurtured at FCA. We are grateful.

Putting your child into school for this first time is hard, but FCA made it so much easier. I have watched my son grow and thrive in this environment. He loves his teacher and every leader there. Hearing him share stories about God at home that he learned that day makes the decision to keep him here a no brainer. So thankful to have found a school that builds education upon Godly principles.

The FCA students give the best hugs, biggest smiles, and fill your heart with so much joy. They love the sing, dance, and worship weekly in chapel service honoring Jesus. It is fun to celebrate their diversity, creativity, and talents. Amazing staff and teachers 😃

Firewheel Christian Academy has been a great school for my son. He started at 9 months old. We love the small class sizes, caring teachers, and flexible scheduling.

We have had our son in Firewheel Christian Academy for 2 years. The teachers and staff are phenomenal. The education on core curriculum and the Bible are second to none. The whole family loves it!

My son and I have had an excellent experience with FCA. It is a nurturing Christian environment where he is getting a well-rounded education. He is excited about school in the morning and happy when I pick him up at the end of the day. Thank you FCA!

Amazing teachers and staff that love their students. It is such a joy listening to the laughter and conversations of the FCA students. It is amazing hearing the kids quote scripture by heart as they learn about Jesus.

I am a parent who has raised two children that have attended this school. I love this school. Both of my children have been excelled under the curriculum and the direction of the staff, teachers and pastors. This school has truly been a blessing for my family and continues to be so.

Just this year they have expanded the middle school to a new building and are giving each student their own laptop to use at school and at home throughout the year. They are also using the new digital white boards that allow the teacher and students to capture notes in class directly from the white board to their laptops. Exciting for me to see the dedication to embrace technology in the classroom.

I would encourage anyone thinking about choosing a great school for their child to check this school out first before you look anywhere else. I think you'll be glad you did.

My 2yr old loves going to school every day. I was afraid she would cry everyday but she was excited. She's been going now for 2months and is counting, saying ABCs, and now says days of week. The teachers are so good with them. Only thing I don't like is making her lunch everyday. I recommend them to everybody..

I am so glad I made the choice of putting my daughter to FCA. I have nothing but gratitude for all they do. Please don’t think twice enrolling your child, you won’t regret the decision.
