Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

First time visiting Cracker Barrel, love that breakfast is served all day! Will definitely be visiting again soon and bringing my family with me. Management was very attentive while waiting for my table. Service was decent, drink didn't get refilled with me having to ask for it, my buscuits were forgotten- I requested them as well. I also received credit for a pancake that wasn't brought out. However, the tasty food made up for each error and I will just have to plan another trip for the pancake.

Unrealistic wait time! Management decided not to tell us that the “half hour” wait would turn into almost two hours. And anyone would think “why didn’t you leave?” Well, minute after minute one believes that they will call you “soon”. It’s great that this business is in such high demand. However, psych yourself that if you go for breakfast, moldy likely you will be getting lunch.
In a better note, our server was great and apologetic about a situation that is not under her control. This is a good challenge for management.
I’m having second thoughts about coming back.

Went to Tanger Mall in San Marcos, TX, for a family outing. Cracker Barrel was close by, and it rarely disappointed my expectations. The giftshop was engaging and brought back a lot of memories. The menu was upgraded since I last visited years ago, which was a plus. My server was very attentive, polite, and provided not only accurate orders but also recommended other items that made the lunch memorable.

Our waitress Stephanie was great! Our food was tasty and served at a decent wait. The only complaint would be the hostess stand got congested with several people getting notified on their app about a table being prepared and to check in, causing confusion. Everyone was polite and the payment of using the QR code was very convenient.

The restaurant was so busy, we had a 30-minute wait, however the browsing and shopping were fantastic so the time flew past.
The food is excellent, the portions are very generous, the service was fantastic, and the prices are fair.

We love Cracker Barrel so are prejudice. Don’t have any near where we live in CA and always make it a point to stop to eat there when there is any in vicinity when we travel this one was in TX and didn’t disappoint. Love their breakfast options. Warning - sooo many cute things in their shops you may spend more there than for eats. Especially if you have grandchildren :-)

It was an hour and forty minute wait by that’s to be expected on mothers da, once we got seated it all went smoothly and food was very good, as busy as it was our waitress was very pleasant and always smiling

I love this place! First, the is delicious. I haven't had anything that I didn't like. If you are a vegan or vegetarian, there is a serious limit on what you can eat here. Everybody else....you will be in heaven. The cornbread Dressing is to die for. The front part of the Restaurant is where the fun is. We can get lost in this area and can find gifts for yourself and everyone in your family. It is expensive but worth it.

Our server, Chase M, gave our party of 9 excellent service. He was very courteous and kept checking up on us.

Very crowded...our wait person vanished but another stepped in and was very courteous. He was taking on extra tables and met the challenge. Meal was great. Also found some great sales in merchandise.

The food and service water always great at this location. We enjoyed our waitress and shopping experience and will return.

Pleasant waitress and wait staff working cooperatively on a busy Sunday. The food was hot and as always consistent and delicious. A great value

I went in for the $9.99 turkey dinner. Great deal.
Great service. I purchased the fried chicken and Mac and cheese to go add on deal for only $5 Yummy!!

The bacon chipotle chicken and refried apples with fresh biscuits were our favorite.

This cracker barrel allowed us to overnight park with our RV, which is not possible at the mall. Started the morning with a delicious breakfast.

I had Cracker Barrel in San Marcos cater my wedding and it was a great experience. I had contacted the regional catering director to place my order and had our event food scheduled to be delivered at our wedding venue a couple hours before it was set to be served. Cracker Barrel was very timely with their delivery, the delivery staff was helpful and kind, my order was correct and was delivered with the correct serving supplies that I had requested, and overall the food was great. I had ordered the smoky southern grilled chicken breast, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, green beans, and biscuits and the only complaint that I had with the food was the chicken was a little dry. We are very pleased with our decision to cater with Cracker Barrel and our wedding guests also had great things to say.

Great Christmas time experience. We tried something new for us this time: Chicken n French toast! It was just what we were looking for. Sweet, southern and delicious. Our waitress was fun too. All around good time!

Everyone enjoyed their meal. This restaurant located at Tanger Outlet is my favorite Cracker Barrel. The food is warm and staff members are friendly. It is fun looking looking at nostalgic items on the walls and shopping at the clearance section in the general store. I do wish they had placed us near the fireplace. Where we sat was cold ... really cold.

Love coming here for some good sunday brunch! I wilk say this location is packed and will probabbly require some forward planning as it is always busy here. The food is definitely worth the wait and the wait staff is always friendly and nice even though it seems like they always have an army of people to feed. Great overall expereince, will be back.
