Tiger’s Inn

Well, this is a gem! Our breakfast was simple but so good! We had an egg, bacon, cheese, tomato sandwich and a pancake with a side egg and bacon. We loved it all. The pancake was crazy fluffy! The service was outstanding and we got to check out the other menus (which have great twists) so we can return while in town. They have delicious coffee❤❤.
This is a local place but deserves to be a destination for anyone looking for a meat and 3 atmosphere with a bit of uniqueness on the menu. Great job y'all!!!
We returned for breakfast on our way home. We both had the basic breakfast with the biscuit and gravy. Woo hoo! It was all perfection again.
***You have to go through the drink station to get to the bathroom but you'll see how clean the place is. They are neat and organized.

Can’t wait to go back! Cute, simple atmosphere, and Sam was a perfect server, and we appreciate her patience and her suggestions.
Now. The food. YUM!!!! Sam twisted our arms (not at all really) to try the fried deviled eggs, and as odd as that sounds out loud, man I am totally going back to order my own 4 piece order that I don’t have to share! Whatever is happening with these totally works, including the candied bacon on top. They are 10/10. I’m a dipper and a spice fanatic, and while these need no improvement whatsoever, I’d love to try them with either a light sriracha drizzle across the top or maybe a little mayo/vinegar/cayenne style tiger sauce to dip them in. My husband and I shared the deviled eggs and also the waffle sliders (with freshly battered chicken strips) and homemade fries (with homemade ranch!😋). Their fries are great! And the sandwich was really good too, slightly sweet and the salty and soft and crispy stuff going on. Good stuff! Of course I wanna find a way to make that spicy too, some candied peppers or some cayenne ranch, but it was delicious all on its own.

It was a nice little place to stop to eat. Great food Chef.

This is a MUST for lunch when staying in the area! Hubby & I are staying in Mentone for the weekend and were recommended this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious - the fried deviled eggs were AMAZING & the burgers were HUGE.. and soo good! Our waitress Ashley was the sweetest and did an amazing job at making us feel right at home at a new place. We would definitely come here again.

Traveled from Cordova, Alabama with my sisters and mom to celebrate my mom’s 84th birthday yesterday. We love everything about this place, the food is delicious, service was exceptional and everyone is so friendly and accommodating.

I cannot say enough about this restaurant!! The staff were just precious and the food was absolutely amazing. It’s a short drive from where we were staying in Mentone. I sent my teenagers off to breakfast by themselves the first morning we were in Mentone. They came back raving about this place. They wanted to go back the next morning AND the next! So we did of course! The grill cheese and tomato soup was so not your typical soup and sandwich, it was fantastic!! The food was southern soul food with a flare!! The prices were very affordable for the amount and quality. My kids tried the chicken and waffles, waffle sliders, omelet, cheese grits and biscuit and gravy. They were blown away with it all! I had the stuffed French toast the next morning, with blueberries on the side. Oh and I tried a pancake! So so so good! This place is a must if you’re in the area!! I’m a people watcher and one of the waitress’ baby and significant other came to eat while she worked the first morning and they were just too cute!! I could tell by the interaction of the staff that all the locals frequent because they knew so many by name. The staff were very friendly and diligent. The “chefs” in the kitchen were just that! They cared about the food from their kitchen and it was definitely evident in the taste. We travel the state and all over the world for experiences and the food. This place was on point! I love the small town feel!!

My family and I love this spot. Small spot with big flavors. I always have to get a plate of the hash browns. If you are ever in the Valley Head area, you definitely need to stop in for a bite to eat. The staff is always very friendly and respectful. No bad words to speak of this spot.

We ate at the Tigers Inn for the first time today. Lemme tell you it was worth the trip there. The staff was very knowledgeable of the menu items, the food was fantastic, and the over all experience was wonderful! We will definitely go back and I'd recommend it to anyone!

The staff were amazing and so was the food! Hands down one of the best hamburgers I have ever eaten. The food was so good we came back for breakfast the next day. Chicken and waffles were excellent.

Highly recommend this fine establishment in Valley Head. We came here for dinner our first night in town and loved it so much we came back the second night. Dined with my husband and 3 year old daughter. She loved the fresh, made from scratch chicken fingers so much she talked about it the whole next day! Highly recommend the lemon butter salmon - it is to die for! Burgers are delicious as well. Staff, service and food was top notch.

We came for a few days of vacation and stopped in to grab something to eat. Fantastic food! Great service! Everything was great, even the tea! Apple fritter was to die for! I'd give more stars, if I could. Will be back on our next trip.

Great southern cooking and very prompt, friendly service! In quaint Valley Head, this eatery cooks up deliciousness! Good selection of daily veggies and meats, along with other menu items.

My 1 st visit here as I just bought a cabin a few months ago in Mentone , AL. Very friendly ladies as I was greeted immediately on a busy Sunday. I had the Swiss mushroom burger and it was perfectly cooked at medium and tasted amazing. I can see why they won awards and I hope to check it out for breakfast soon. They were very busy but everyone said goodbye too!
I moved here in Mid March and never knew there was a restaurant here as I pass through all the time on the main road . I'll be back again this week. Paul

Very cozy small town restaurant. Friendly staff. Love the atmosphere. This was our first time here & we enjoyed it. I've heard only good things about Tiger's Inn. The food was fresh & the drinks are ginormous. When you order a blackboard special you get a free tea & dessert. The cheesecake is awesome. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely be back.

The stew soup was out of this world. We loved the homemade apple fritter as well as the banana pudding. My kids enjoyed their meal as well. If you’re heading to Mentone or Desoto Falls, stop here and eat. Our waitress was the best!

Just look at that picture 😍. I don’t think words could do my review of this food justice. We ordered to go tonight and the food was absolutely perfect. The Mac and cheese is honestly the best in the world, even better than mine 😂😂 That salmon was cooked to perfection and the rice was just right. We are highly pleased with the service and food. We will definitely be back. Thank y’all so much and congratulations to the new owners.

Great place to grab a quick meal. Friendly staff and excellent daily specials. This will certainly be on my short list of places to eat when in the Mentone/ Valley Head area. They have limited hours, so check before you make the trip.

AMAZING food, service, and pricing! I really didn't expect this level of awesome going in for the first time there, but the whole experience was great! I'll definitely be back!
