Country Store-Gifts and Information Center

We stopped here to pick up a map. The shop was nice enough to explain the trails, best place to park and best trails for kids. There is a nice restroom here. The kids enjoyed the Nature Center and the playground across the street. There are picnic tables, a pavilion and a restroom near the playground also. The falls were not flowing when we visited. They said best time to see those is in the spring. But the trails and rock formations were beautiful.

Absolutely GORGEOUS in Novemeber!! Went for the Creative Spirit Market and was pleased with the diversity of items. Well kept and staffed store and event! I will definitely go back.

This park is beautiful! A great place to vacation with family! The kids loved the pool and walking the trails.

If quite is what you want when camping, then this is the place to go.

Explore De Soto park and the great outdoors. Small trails just steps away from the Information center.

Small store has all you need, including maps and necessity stuff like light fluid. Same parking with laundry room for campers.

Cute lil store. We were passing through and had to use the bathroom and store. Ariel's and Zipline tours were available here. The restaurant was clean. We bought a few souvenirs. We try to collect keychains every where we visit and we both got two cool keychains for 2.50 a piece. I don't know too many places you can buy a souvenir for that cheap. If you are a camper out there I noticed food and other supplies. I don't know I just thought it was a cool stop.

This is a BEAUTIFUL AND AWESOME PLACE TO VISIT YOU WILL WANT TO STAY LONGER!!!!

Did not camp here, only drove through. Very clean well kept camp. Sites are very large "back in" type. Plenty of room between you and your neighbor. No problem parking a 40 footer here. Plenty of natural wonders to check out in the park and surrounding area. HELPFULL HINT....If walking the trail to Indian Falls...don't be fooled by the dry fall that you come to right away. Cross the foot bridge and continue down the trail for another 5 minutes, you won't be disappointed.

I have been camping here since I was a kid with my grandparents, and now we are bringing our kids to make more great memories! Clean bath houses, immaculate campground, swimming, beautiful forest, clear Hiking trails, and zip lining now as well! Plenty for everyone! Waterfalls and kayaking with a quaint, small town full of charm nearby. What's not to love?!

I take my kids here every year. They love the pool, the playground, the hiking, and the little nature center. This is a very beautiful, laid back place to go. We get a lot of joy from Desoto State Park.

Information center is also a gift shop and it has all kinds of tree to tree activities for the younger ones, Really Nice, I'm not sure what it costs??
