First time at this facility. The laboratory worker, Cassie C was amazing. She was friendly, courteous, and overall outstanding worker. She is the reason this facility received an overall 5 star rating. The facility itself was dated. Could use new deco. However, overall, it's a good facility at a convenient location. Again. A bigTHANK YOU to Cassie C in the Lab department.

Janae Brown and her nurse Bethany are the best!! I have been going here for a couple of years now and always have the best experience. I have continuously received excellent care and I am very grateful to them.

Des Moines is privileged to have such genuine care & expertice at Unity Point Clinic. I have been a patient of Janae Brown for several years, she is the best! She's attentive, sensitive, informative, knowledgeable, & actually interested in you & your personal medical care. From experience, there's no place better.

I was sick on New Years weekend and couldn’t find an urgent care open that would take a patient. The on-line registration was great for an appointment on Ingersoll. I was very impressed with how clean and efficient it was. The Dr. was excellent and had very professional and caring attitude and listened. Staff excelled also.

These folks are excellent. Everyone from the receptionist to the nurses to the physicians were very attentive and patient, and kind, even amid very busy conditions around a holiday. The wait was long (due to a surge in Covid cases) but worth it. They also took time to ask me if I had any questions throughout my visit. Treat them with respect and they will return it 10-fold.

First the admin/front desk ladies are fantastic. Always ready to help and friendly. Janee Brown has been my doctor for many years now and I have never had one as great as her. She LISTENS to me! She is great at giving options and you can tell that she actually cares. Highly recommended!

Janae Brown is my doctor, and out of the many, many doctors I’ve seen she is my favorite. She invited me to ask any questions I had, which is a big deal for me as I am normally too shy to bring questions up myself. I’ve never felt rushed or ignored, and she remembers the little details even after a year between visits. The clinic itself is very clean and welcoming, and the staff has always been friendly. The urgent care clinic is equally as wonderful. My visits are always 10/10.

I have been with Janae Brown now for 5 years. She sends me get well cards when I’ve been in the hospital. She has seen me through Open heart surgery one heart attack two hip replacements Gall bladder surgery and finally Covid 19 hospitalization. There is NO ONE!! else I will see!! She is Simply THE BEST!! Calls me personally with my lab results. Always squeezes me In if I need to see her right away. Always very good at listening to me and Caring especially after I endured Covid 19 in which I almost died from. I just simply LOVE HER! Her staff Beth her nurse, front desk Amy and the rest of the Lab are AWSOME. She or her assistants call me once a week to always check on me I have lots of health issues. I love this Clinic and would definitely recommend to every one.

Doctor Johnson is amazing I have been going to him for 4 years. He is patient kind and caring. He always listens and answers any questions or concerns I have. His nurses go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

I trust these people to take care of me and my health!
The last two times I have seen Jess, ARNP, and she has been wonderful.
It helps that it is attached to my family doctor's office as well!
Highly recommend.
Also - register online for your appointment! It is way quicker.

I have been here a couple times for sinus infections/ear infection. I was in and out of the office within 30-40 minutes both times and hardly any wait time. They are very professional, efficient, and friendly. I will definitely continue to come here if I have an urgent care need!

I was visiting family in Des Moines and my 4 year old fell and split his forehead open. It was pretty obvious that he was going to need a few stitches but it was not life threatening. I called here to see if they did stitches vs doing an ER visit. The way this staff treated my toddler was top notch. They did everything possible to make him feel comfortable to prevent him from being scared. He received 3 stitches and never shed a tear due to the care he received.

Went to MercySouth majority of my life and hated it Everytime. My husband has been here since a baby and told me to go here to give it a chance. Incredibly happy to have done so, because I've had nothing but great experiences from here. Dr. Jay Jonhson and Janae Brown are wonderful, and everyone else is just as sweet and excellent! Being treated nicely and with professionalism can help your spirits when you're already not feeling the best. Thankful for this place. Recommend to anyone.

Hello, I can't figure why anyone is crying on here about the service. These women work like dogs to accommodate all kinds of patients with all kiknds of issues. They are pro-people, and they help, way, way more than anywhere else I have gone. Fewer, and fewer advocates for folks exists, and the customer service is way above and beyond anywhere else. People who are whining about such a thing need to get over themselves.

Thank you kindly for your professional and compassionate care towards my daughter today. I was truly lost as to where to turn for help as we are new to Des Moines. We left the clinic with a plan and resources for a road to recovery. God Bless everyone that assisted us today.

I have been going to this clinic for years. I see Janae Brown and she is super sweet and listens to everything! She even makes time for me if I have an emergency! LOVE THEM!

I have been going here since 2009, I really like Dr Johnson! Other than a few mishaps over the years I've never had any major problems here and I've always kept Dr J in the loop after my back injury and my cancer diagnosis!

Had a great experience here. Rocked up, saw a nurse practitioner within 15 minutes (who was absolutely delightful) and was on my way swiftly. Should I require care again, I'll definitely be back here.

Always friendly staff from the folks at the front desks on to the doctors. Jenae is the best and listens to her patients concerns with obvious genuine care.

I have been going here for 15+ years.

I have never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes to get in.

I LOVE the staff. And Dr. Johnson is an A+++++.
