I Was very nervous about tackling a kitchen renovation. Especially apprehensive about painting the cabinets. With Tim’s advice, thorough prep and quality paint the cabinets turned out better than I could have imagined. Check out before and after pics below.

The Enduro paint was amazing! I sprayed the cabinet doors. No thinning needed and the finish looks as good as a factory finish. Absolutely smooth! Even the sections I painted with a roller and back brushed had no brush marks and looks amazing and so far appears to be very durable.

I highly recommend this paint and following Tim’s prep instructions! THOROUGH PREP IS THE KEY!!!!!

Tim is all around a great guy. I have been a professional painter for 20 years now and he is by far the best paint store I have ever gone to. He does not give you a "better than you attitude" like some other stores. He truly cares about what project you are working on and since he was a painter in the past he actually understands it. Most paint stores are book smart on paint with no knowledge of actually using the product they are referring you to use. Tim is the best of both, book smart with practical experience. T Elliot’s paint shoppe is my most highly recommended paint and stain supplier in Michigan. I have been a professional painting contractor for over 25 years along with 3 generations of previous painting knowledge that was passed on to myself, I drive past many paint stores going out of my way to do business with Tim because of his knowledge in all materials and the service provided by Tim is not found at any other paint stores. Tim is a special person and has become a friend over the last few years of shopping at his store, his enthusiasm to help solve product questions and any problems that you may deal with when painting you can bet Tim has good answers worth listening too. You will not be disappointed with the products or service this store offers.

This is, by far, the best place to get paint. Tim is an expert in color theory and is very helpful selecting the perfect color for your project. We had one project where Tim did a custom color mix on stain. We will never go anywhere else for our painting needs. Customers for life.

This is my go to paint store. I am a DIYer and Tim, the owner, is very knowledgeable and answers every question I have on every visit. He provides paint tips, things to be cautious about regarding stains always asks about my projects. It is why I continue to purchase from this this location.

I am a hobbyist work worker and finisher. My latest project involved refinishing a large oak dining room set. My wife wanted to paint the table top (which had oak veneer inlays and pained me to do). Regardless, I had some good experience using General Finishes products when I built a bar about 6 years ago.
Unfortunately, the store I purchased the GF products from had moved along with their expertise. I was about ready to give up my search for another source when I discovered Tim's store in Highland.
Although it's a 45 minute drive from where I live, he has made it worth every minute! In the many projects I've done, I have never run into someone who knows more about paint and wood finishes.
He actually save me a step by offering to tint GF's Enduro clear coat to match the paint color we wanted to use on the table top. It was an exact match, which I know wasn't easy to do. He even took into consideration negating the sheen effect that the top coat would have had on the paint color. The finished product really looks great!
He also advised me on how to paint granite, something I've never done.
He and Mike, who works for him, are both very customer oriented and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend T Elliot's to anyone who is in need of sound advice on your paint/refinishing projects!

I came in to purchase paint and was having trouble deciding on the right color. Tim not only saved me from making a poor color choice but he helped me choose the right color paint for my rooms. He was very honest and fun to work with and bounce ideas off of. He never made me feel like just a number, he truly cared about what I wanted to attain from the rooms I was painting. His customer service was remarkable. I will never go anywhere else for paint from now on!

I brought a piece of flooring in today, asked to help color match some stain. Not only did he help me choose colors- he painted a sample with me in the store! Look you can’t even tell which board was which!

My 7yo wanted a red “Revive” (skateboard company) room. Knowing red isn’t the easiest for a non-pro I stopped in Tim’s shop for advice and supplies. Tim was more than helpful in selecting the best colors and paint selection to match the inspiration for my son’s room. The project turned out better than I could have hoped. I highly recommend stopping in T. Elliot’s Paint Shoppe for all your paint and accessory needs.

I pulled into the paint shop right after the posted opening time. All lights were off so I called the phone number. The owner Tim answered the phone and explained they have a power outage and apologized. As I was about to pull out he called me back himself and said if I wanted to wait for him to run extension cords he could get me my paint. I had guys waiting on me costing me money so I really appreciated this and it’s something he didn’t have to do. Customer service like this is rare and almost non existent anymore. Get your paint from here!!

I stopped in this store just to pick up some paint chips today. Tim was incredibly helpful as I needed to find colors that would work with some cabinets in my kitchen and bathroom. He is so kind and has an expert's eye when it comes to colors. Just a fantastic experience!

My new place for Benjamin Moore paint and supplies. I've been in business as a painter for 30 years and find it a blessing when I discover a paint store as good as this one. Tim really knows his stuff. He's very knowledgeable about all aspects of painting. I highly recommend this store to any professional painter or homeowner.

What a wonderful experience! After staring at paint chips for far too long, I popped into T. Elliott's for some guidance. It's not often that shops go out of their way to truly help customers but this shop is a place you absolutely must go to for all your painting needs. The owner (also a former painter) took the time to help, show me examples, make suggestions and simply listen. He and his business partner even suggested creating a custom color which I had never even thought of doing before. Once I decide on the final color for my home, I will update with a photo. If you are looking for someone to guide and spend time with you to teach you about products, this is your place. I will be sharing their name with members in the community and won't be shopping anywhere else.

These people are GREAT! They have given me so many tips and because of their years of experience as painters, I listen! They couldn't be more helpful, courteous and friendly. I have been to many paint stores over the years and Elliot's are beyond a doubt, the best one out there. Benjamin Moore is the best paint on the market. It is a little pricey, but when you are done painting, you will understand why. Give this place a chance. You will not be sorry.

I was at the new Benjamin Moore store TS Elliot and once again I was treated with respect promptness and knowledge of paint products and procedures throughout the visit. Very impressed with the new store and quality of paints they carry. I will definitely stop it again for my paint choices. The manager Tom had an answer for all my questions.

Tim really knows his stuff. Made me feel comfortable even though I felt like I didn’t know anything about what I needed to do (which I didn’t). After talking to him I went home and did some internet research and went back to Tim to bounce things off him. He was able to condense what I’d learned, tell me what we’re good ideas and, more importantly, what didn’t sound right or what things I could omit. You can even tell him what you want your paint or stain to do and he can create a color or combine products to meet your goals. Very helpful. High quality products. Highly recommended.

We came in with a disaster of a project (our own fault) and Tim was able to help problem solve it with us and recommend some amazing products that fixed it all!!
