New Countryside Family Restaurant

Close to hospital. The waitress was so kind. She checked on me a few times to make sure I had enough to drink. Great place to eat. I only gave 4 stars for food because the hot turkey sandwich isn't my favorite, but it is good. I really liked the instant potatoes and gravy. Handicap accessibility ♿ doors open easily. Bathrooms clean and big enough for a wheelchair.

One of our favorite places for good home style food. The chicken and biscuits are the best I've had - chunky veggies, mashed potatoes, biscuit with lots of white meat chicken - plus choice of side. Delicious! Wait staff is friendly and efficient. Comfortable atmosphere!

Good food and service. Had "Garbage platter" and fried haddock dinner meals.

It’s a Friday night and we arrived at about 5:30 pm. There’s no waiting line and seven of us were seated in the back room without a reservation.
The owner greeted us with warmth and smiles. His humor was just what I enjoyed the most. The waitress we had met the challenge of humor right along with us. I have to say it set the mood for our entire night.
The food came fast and was hot, a healthy portion, and delicious.
We hit the night just right to enjoy friends we haven’t seen in a while. We weren’t rushed out and were able to enjoy a great amount of laughter. Thank you to all who made our night a perfect one. 11-10-2023

Totally random selection, but while visiting nearby we were looking for a family friendly place for a late lunch. Jackpot! My 89yo Mom and my 27yo grandson were equally pleased with the selection, quantity and quality of the food. Our server was polite, attentive and fun. Great job folks!

You won't go away hungry! For early dinner, I received TWO whole pork chops like my grandmother made, and what amounted to THREE sides! Leftovers are in order. My live-in appeared to be very satisfied w her tuna melt. Priceless wait staff! Kept my mug warm. Next time- their fried chicken!

Most appetizing and best looking meal I’ve had in conscience memory. Filling, not fattening. Highway quality chicken I’ve seen between Rochester and Syracuse on a gyro. Everything cooked to perfection. Zero complaints. Wow.

The food is always scrumptious. I don't think I have ever had anything there that wasn't good. The waitresses are kind and work their tails off to give you quick service. There is plenty of room to sit, whether you're a small or big party. There is plenty of parking as well. Just be prepared to talk a little louder than normal. It gets busy in there. Overall it's an excellent place to eat and gather.

Food was good. Service was excellent. Nice little place. They serve some breakfast all day so that's a plus in my book. We will go back again.

It's a family restaurant so not amazing decor. But still quite nice. Food was excellent diner fare. Portions were large and service was very professional and friendly.

Saying this place and its service was good would be an understatement. They were accommodating to our needs with 8 ppl and two toddlers with the best high chairs we have ever been given at a restaurant. If you decide to go there you must and I say must ask for Tammy as your server. She treated as if we were family ❤ #bean and bacon soup

Great place for breakfast I've yet to go for dinner great service prices and food highly recommend.

Consistently very good food.
We've only done take out, but the restaurant looks very clean inside.
My fiance raves about their garbage plate and macaroni salad.
I've tried several things and they're always very good, excellent fish fry as well.
Very friendly staff, never had any issues with our orders.

Got the French dip au jus sandwich. Very good and very generous portions. Also got the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. Server Sara was great.

This quiet former hole in the wall offers great meals and good prices in a family-friendly restaurant with welcoming service. When many restaurants have lines out the door at mid morning on Sunday, there are plenty of open tables here - no waiting. With this much seating, there is plenty of room for your gathering.

I’m sorry I didn’t get a picture of the strawberry cheesecake French toast. We ate it before I thought of my camera. Even the coffee is good.

Homey atmosphere. Decorated for the season! My in-laws have frequented there for years. Great place.

Countryside Diner is a gem we stumbled upon either passing through the area. Everything was diner style : friendly, efficient wait staff, well run, home town feel. Drinks served, orders taken, and food out fast! The omelette meal I had was incredible. There was meat and veggies and cheese filling up the entire inside of my very fluffy omelette. The home fries were amazing and they even offered raisin toast! My husband loved his food as well. We were both very impressed with the overall service, and they have very reasonable prices to boot. We can't wait to go back to Countryside Dinner on the next trip to the area

New Countryside is a lovely, friendly diner offering a nice selection of choices. The staff was very welcoming and prompt.

We stopped in for breakfast after an appointment at Lipson. Our server was awesome!!! Our food was quick and delicious!! Been here plenty of times and never had a bad experience. Great food.
