Ravenna Animal Hospital rocks! The vet support staff provides exemplary customer service. Vets are so well educated & experienced, let me know what I need to do to help my dog be healthier. Vets concerned not just w/ animal's immediate needs, but also w/ their overall health to ensure a healthy lifetime. I love this place!! Right now, closes to new patients (veterinarian shortage).

We love this vet clinic - hands down the best experience we've had. We love the front desk staff, the nurses, and the vets - we truly feel like everyone here is invested in the care and wellbeing of our senior dog. We really liked our old vet and clinic in Ballard, and were sad to have to find new care on this side of town when we moved, but Ravenna Animal Hospital has exceeded our exceptions. We've always felt like the recommendations for care are conservative and there's never an "up sell" for any services - in fact, one vet deterred me from a more costly procedure until we learned more. A place that really builds trust with patients and puts pets first. Would whole heartedly recommend.

We brought our cat Diamond in to be euthanized because she was desperately ill and nonresponsive. Dr. De looked at her, called the previous vet for test results and said "These are very good vitals for such an apparently ill animal. I wonder if she's unable to clear the painkillers she was given. I have some ideas we could try if you want." We tried the ideas she recommended and nursed Diamond back to health--she's still with us months later. Dr. De went SO far beyond expected care here, really made a big effort to save an animal who could so easily have been written off. We're deeply grateful.

As an animal lover and an animal right activist, who is deeply involved in animals wellbeing, I am super sensitive and aware when it comes to animals. Dr Mortimer 's skills and knowledge is truly unmatched for me and ppl that I know. Unfortunately not all vets are the same :( some should not even be practicing! They literally make your babies sicker !

My dog typically goes to the Northwest Veterinary Hospital, but she got sick over a holiday weekend & the Ravenna Animal Hospital was able to see her within 30 minutes. My dog is reactive and very anxious at the vet, but everyone helped both her & I feel as comfortable as possible. Staff was friendly, understanding, and accommodating. The vet clearly explained several different options for care and provided enough information for me to feel like I was able to make a well informed choice. I really appreciated both the professionalism & the approachable communication.

We are long-time users of Ravenna's services. We have consistently found a high level of professional care backed by a caring team.

Our cats have received good, thoughtful care there since Seattle Veterinary Associates took over the practice. We didn't hesitate to call them when we adopted our most recent pet in April, 2022.

I couldn't be happier with Ravenna Animal Hospital. My little dog had been ill for several days. I was so grateful that Ravenna Animal Hospital was able to offer care to my dog. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming. The veterinary assistant was wonderful. Both the veterinary assistant and Dr. Donovan had a wonderful way of interacting with my anxious dog. Happy to report that my dog was feeling better within a day!

Have had such a fantastic experience with everyone we’re encountered here. Incredibly courteous and responsive reception staff, caring and knowledgeable technicians and veterinarians. Transparent pricing and billing. So lucky to have found!

I've been to this clinic less than a handful of times and the other times have been lackluster, nothing bad but nothing to write home about. Could have been COVID related with them not seeing patients inside.

We ended up getting a last minute appt today with Dr Thompson and I don't have enough good things to say about him. My dog was hiding behind my legs when he came in and he promptly sat on the ground, offered him treats, and did his entire exam right there on the ground with him as if he was petting him. My dog has never been so comfortable in a vet's office. He was incredibly thorough (both with his exam and his answers/explanations), informative, and kind. He is an excellent addition to your staff. Genuinely, thank you.

Dr. Neal is fabulous with my reactive special needs dog. She takes the time to answer all my questions and is very understanding of my dogs behavior. The whole team is amazing!

I've been taking my two cats to Ravenna Animal Hospital for the past five years. My many experiences have been excellent. Friendly, and very knowledgeable veterinarians and staff. Comforting in my loss of Merlin in 2021.They've always been accommodating to my needs and did a great job during the pandemic lockdown. I highly recommend Ravenna Animal Hospital.

When I moved to Seattle, I was referred by another vet who was too far from our location, to Dr. Neal at Ravenna Animal Hospital. I have taken my dog there for the past year and could not be happier with the care we get. Dr. Neal takes the time needed to thoroughly examine my dog, consider my input, and pose options for treatment. She is great about returning calls and the staff takes detailed messages so that she's had time to consider my question before we speak. Great staff, great care, and lots of attention make for a very happy pet owner.

I came in with my pup, Lucy, for a quick check on a drippy eye. Everyone was super nice and very quick to get us into a room. Lucy is a very very timid pup, especially with men. When Dr. Thompson came in, he immediately sat down on the floor and Lucy went right over to him and let him pet her. That's huge! The exam was quick and easy, we got a treat on our way out, and the staff at the front desk were lovely as well. All in all, a really really nice experience. Thank you!

All the doctors and staff at Ravenna Animal Hospital our wonderful. I must particularly acknowledge Dr. Neal who has called regularly to check on the status of my cat. She has gone above and beyond in making sure that we are doing everything to improve the health of my sweet girl.

Even though we were brand new clients, the excellent staff at Ravenna Animal Hospital was not only quick to set up an appointment, but gentle and kind throughout. We had to say goodbye to my family's sweet kitty Jack, but Dr. Neal, Michael and Siddra were all wonderful, kind and so professional with us. These times are trying, but you can be sure that your beloved pet will be in good hands here.

Dr. Donovan and staff are amazing! I first met Dr. Donavan 15 yrs ago when my husband and I had 3 cats and he and his staff were amazing at diagnosing and caring for them. Now, several years later, Dr. Donavan is still practicing as we have recently adopted 2 adult cats and again, he and his staff have been so wonderful in meeting our cats and assisting us in caring for them. I cannot say enough great things about this hospital and it's staff.

I trust Ravenna Animal Hospital above all vets in Seattle for the care of my animals! I have used several other vets in my area for general, uncomplicated care of our dog and cats, but I always come back to Ravenna. The vets are very knowledgeable, and treat your animal gently. I always feel like they view my pet as their important patient.

My first experiences here have been during the COVID crisis, so it's unique to say the least. I've felt incredibly safe at both visits, and my dog is happy and healthy. What more could you ask? I say good value, because I just assume I'm going to pay hundreds of dollars any time I visit a vet, and when I've gotten bills from them, I've thought, "that's downright reasonable!" Everyone I've spoken to is super helpful and kind. I don't have one bad thing to say about this spot.

The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Tech Cody was very kind and detail oriented. Dr Donovan reviewed a very thorough history, performed the needed diagnostic tests that he recommended, and gave a very thorough treatment and follow up plan. His teaching was understandable and he took the time to make sure all my questions were answered. I even got a handout explaining the diagnosis. I highly recommend this practice!
