Warfield's Restaurant, Lounge & Bakery

The team is friendly. My waitress was nice but very busy. The wait was a little longer than expected. The food was delicious. I had an All American burger, which was cooked perfectly. The drink I chose was a ginger grapefruit mocktail which was very good also. When the waitress didn’t come back I walked to the counter to ask if I could pay my bill and also bought a chocolate cookie with white chocolate and dark chocolate chips in it. The cookie was alright, was not as soft as I expected it to be.Parking was on the street as available. When I initially was seated hardly anyone was inside (only a few small parties with 2-4 people at each one) then a large party came in maybe they pre ordered but I received my food after them. The chairs are not comfortable in my opinion. The restaurant is beautiful.

Excellent food. Glad we stopped here! I had the thai chicken with noodle (minus chicken and Sriracha). I also had the sweet potato fries as a side. Very good! My husband had the Cuban sandwhich and it was generous and perfectly cooked. My daughter had the grilled cheese and cauliflower soup and homemade chips and enjoyed it. Her bf had the burger and fries and it was cooked perfectly. Wait staff was attentive and friendly, and it was a nice dining room. Worth going to!
10/14 update. Still really good food, excellent service. Beautiful presentation of food. Thai noodles as good as last time, poached pear salad very good, grilled cheese was wonderful, meatloaf special really good, apple burbon quesadillas, hot and sweet chicken sandwhich all memorable. Highly recommended.

Excellent dining experience. Everything was delicious from the fresh baked bread at the beginning of the meal to the fantastic house made chocolate covered sea salt caramels. I have not a single suggestion on how they can improve on anything. The staff was humble and kind, the restaurant is a classic design, clean and beautiful. The garden with outdoor seating is well maintained. The food was perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned and delicious. We could not have enjoyed ourselves anymore than we did. Great job.

We LOVE Warfield's! We were in the area and stumbled upon this gem. It is in the cute downtown Clifton Springs in an older building. The atmosphere is very classy. First, they give you salty bread with 4 different dips. This is such a nice touch! The bread and all of the dips are amazing. The menu is really unique and there is something for everyone! My absolute favorite thing on the current menu is the duck with an espresso rub. AMAZING. But everything we get is so so good and unique. The service is amazing and even the young boys filling up the waters and taking the plates away are very good. From start to finish, this is always an excellent excellent meal!

We went on a quiet weeknight. Service was just lovely - I can’t remember the last time I felt so warmly greeted and well taken care of. We got drinks (love the Winter Mule, which is also a Kentucky Mule to us Kentucky emigrants), the warm bacon salad and Korean wings. It was a perfect meal - more than we usually spend but we will absolutely return for special occasions, or when we want to make a regular weeknight feel like a special occasion.

Oak tables, chairs, walls create a cozy comfortable atmosphere. Cool bar too. Exceptional meals at reasonable prices. The chocolate eclairs are amazing.

This restaurant will never disappoint! They do add some seasonal local farm produce to their menu. My friend and I have always enjoyed both the food and beautiful atmosphere here. That was even throughout the pandemic. My recent trip was for the Eggplant (seasonal) and my friend enjoyed the crab cakes. We often order the same item to try or one that we've had before. I have to say this time my eggplant was astounding and both of our eyes popped. It was as flavorful and mouth-watering fresh as it was so beautifully plated. I cook to please myself (dinner for one) regularly but could not top this exceptional lunch.

Wonderful place to have a meal. Lunch, great, dinner amazing. Staff above and beyond. We had the most amazing experience. My husband's birthday dinner. We will recommend it to all our friends. You have a wonderful place, keep up the good work. Thank you all.

It was a Perfect spot for Date night , the cozy quiet atmosphere ,Delicious food and Friendly Staff!
If you like to Try new foods ,you will love it!
My Husband ordered Quail with a mango ketchup Glaze which he enjoyed! He also was a fan of the House salad dressing, Honey poppyseed!
For myself I enjoyed roasted duck and the side that came with had a nice amount of heat which was perfect!
And finished it up with Chocolate Peanut butter cake which was Superb!👌

My husband & I are on a last minute (original trip had to be canceled unexpectedly) road trip for our 25th Anniversary across country from Colorado to Vermont. We “accidentally” found this incredible gem of a restaurant and town! They sat us in the gorgeous garden at the gazebo table, and everything was absolute perfection! The service was impeccable and every dish was amazing with unexpected flair. This evening absolutely made our whole trip! Would come back and stay in this beautiful little town any time and never miss a chance to eat at Warfield’s. Thank you so very much!

If your looking for the best food ever, stop and eat here. My family of 4 loved all of our food. Best clam chowder, best meatball sub, best chicken cordon Bleu. Lemonade was great as well. Portions were huge... I mean HUGE. This pic is half my sammich because I was hungry. Seriously...eat here.

Eating @ Warfields is always a special event, a warm and inviting atmosphere with great staff and impeccable service. The food presentation is eye pleasing and the food never disappoints, so good!

We stopped for the bakery aspect, when passing through Clifton Springs, NY. The croissants were as big as your hand... We enjoyed ham & cheese croissants, but butter croissants were also available. Beautiful tavern style dining are, beautiful attached garden area. Friendly staff, we will stop again!

Went here for the first time based on glowing reviews. It was wonderful. Great stuff on the menu. We both decided on the Fried Chicken. When it came out from the kitchen we were like "Wow!" It was crispy and delicious. It was 1/2 of a chicken. The mashed potatoes were yummy and the corn fresh. Needless to say we took half of each dinner home. The cake for dessert was moist and dense with fruit and a perfect amount of frosting. With dinner, wine and dessert it was under $100 for 2 people before tip. We felt this was the best restaurant meal we have had in almost 4 years.

My husband and I got married here in August of this year… Diane took care of us from start to finish and didn’t miss any details. It was so much better than we could’ve ever imagined… The string lights that were decorating the garden throughout the bushes and the trees were beautiful at night time and the decorations that Warfield provided us on the gazebo was also a wonderful touch. We had both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding there and both nights the food was absolutely out of this world. I cannot recommend this place more.

This was my 2nd time coming here, 1st time for dinner. This restaurant is a gem in Clifton Springs. The staff is attentive but not overbearing, and the atmosphere is cozy. We had the duck breast and rack of lamb, which were excellent. The menu is a simple one page of 5 starters, 6 small plates, and 8 entrees, plus they have specials for every day of the week. Try them all, just not in one visit. I do recommend getting reservations for dinner as they do get busy, and you might not get seated inside, but that brings me to the backyard sitting they have. The backyard is beautiful, as you can see on the pictures definitely where you want to be on a cool summer day. My compliments to the chef for the great meal and presentation.

I took my wife here yesterday for lunch and the food was exquisite. The place was extraordinary and the host was exceptional. A great place to relax and to talk and to laugh
