Masjid al-Taqwa

Alhamdulillah... after a long walk up the hill from downtown, i managed to find a place where i seek peace. Allah is Great. Simple place and people are friendly. May Allah protect this neighbourhood and the Muslim community in Seattle.

We as Muslims should come together to buy this building if that is possible and the masjid is currently renting this building. Yes we all understand that this building needs renovation but before all of that we should find a solution to purchase this building. May Allah give us strength to do so.

Nice Masjid, alhamdhulillah. It has its own parking space at the front. Jumma started at 12:30 pm when I visited in November 2019. Wudu area in basement, prayer in first floor (basket ball) court. May Allah bless the community and help them to renovate the masjid.
Found the sign (see photo) inside the masjid. Good idea and must needed in this age of mobile phones 😊

Masha Allah, very good Muslim community. Keep it up. Has a basket ball court inside too. Can reach here from Downtown on buses 2, 3, 4.

May Allah help us, this mosque really need to build. again, brothers and sisters at least we try to look the problem. Inshallah this mosque can be Islamic school not just mosq. Inshallah soon

The masjid is relocated. If there's a way to take it down it might be a good idea. I was visiting Seattle and walked all the way there and just to find out that it was closed. The new location is 720 25th Ave Seattle, WA 98122.

Please don't go overtime on khutba

It used to be an Islamic school and now it's a masjid. Will always be an Islamic space for progress and forward thinking. This place will always be cherised and loved by the community for all they do!

Accessible, sufficient parking space on the neighborhood roads, short walk from the bus stop, therefore reachable by public transport.

Vibrant community. The imam was quite detailed and delivered a very clear speech.

Good place to pray your daily salat. Very friendly people and good parking place for vehicles.
