Shannon Barr - State Farm Insurance Agent

This review is long overdue. Last May 2023 I suffered a great personal loss. I lost all my personal possessions due to unforseen circumstances. Two weeks prior I contacted my State farm agent Shannon Barr and requested to cancel my renters insurance. At this time I thought this was a big waste of money (about $125.00 a year premium) After speaking with Shannon she explained to me this was to protect me from unforseen circumstances. She took the time to carefully explain the benefits of renters insurance. Thank God I listened because Shannon and State Farm literally saved me financially. My advice to anyone renting please take the time to contact Shannon and ask questions. Hopefully you will never find yourself in my situation but if you do this could literally save you financially 💯. Thank you Shannon Barr for looking out for me and my family. We’ve had Shannon handle our homeowners insurance for some time. We had our auto with AARP- The Hartford. Their rates went up each year so we contacted Shannon and she was able to get us a better deal for home and car. Great person to do business with

Shannon and Elizabeth are an amazing team! Shannon has insured all of my homes AND my cars. Today I reached out to Shannon because I needed two home owners insurance policies for investment properties I was closing on the same day. I recently purchased a new auto policy from State Farm and selected Shannon Barr as my insurance agent. So far I have had to reach out on two occasions - once to get a vehicle photo for my coverage and once to submit required documentation - and received excellent customer service both times. (Elizabeth is kind and efficient!) It is comforting to know that I have a local agent with whom I can have a phone call or in-person meeting if ever necessary. (Oh! And State Farm offered the best coverage and the best rate for my needs!)

When it came time for me to switch off of my parents insurance plan, I contacted Shannon for a quote for my vehicle, the response time was fast and thorough and very customer oriented. I had a few questions about my new policy, Elizabeth and Shannon were so easy to work with and their attention to detail is fast and effective and there’s always an open line of communication, which is awesome. The best part about Shannon’s agency is that she treats every customer like family and makes the insurance buying process extremely easy and enjoyable. I’ve been a customer for 2 years and counting, we recently purchased a home and added my fiancé’s vehicle to our policy. We just signed on for first home and changed auto and the team has been great! We quoted four places and Shannon's team/State farm came out ahead for pricing and coverage. Shannon even came out to take pictures when our work schedules were tight around the holidays and walked us through everything easily to get a bundled policy quote.

I don't know where to start. Shannon and Elizabeth are both amazing! I've been with Statefarm for quite a long time and Shannon and her team have always been right there whenever I had questions, changes to my policy etc. Just recently I made some changes and Elizabeth was right on top of making those changes and got back to me.so quickly. Another thing I think is great is that every year they send my husband and I birthday cards. This might not seem like a lot to most people but for us it shows that they appreciate us as their customers. They are so professional and all around great.
