Where do I begin with how outstanding the staff and service was here? Here are some examples:
1. We landed at SFO at 8am and they let us check in at 9am on NYE weekend
2. We thought we had booked a room with two beds, but it only had one. They switched us with absolutely zero hassle or upcharge
3. We had a friend coming in early on the second day of our stay, the front desk staff set aside a room key for him and made sure he was taken care of while we slept in
4. Yohanes was working on New Year’s Eve and we had a strange incident happen that he completely handled and provided us with the absolute best service with

Not the fanciest hotel, but location was great - one block from BART station - 8 minute walk to the Fox - tons of great food options around.

Giving it a five because I’m a solo traveller who visits Oakland almost every week, and this is just a great and comfortable space to stay the night, as a treat to myself, since I’m only looking for a place with a bed, bathroom and basic good TV channels.

Never disappointed. Staff is good. There is a deposit, but it’s not a problem.

Yohannes was a great front desk agent. I came to stay for a 1 nighter due to a family member passing. He was busy, but checked me in quickly and was able to help others. My next trip back i will be staying here because of Yohannas great help!

Sandip made this location feel like home! As soon as I walked in he had an inviting smile followed by a warm greeting. He immediately made us feel like we’re staying at the right place, and made my family feel welcomed.

Every time we left and come in he asked how our stay is and how he could help.

Very personable, very professional, and very knowledgeable on the area.

The rooms are upgraded for an older beautiful building, located right in the downtown historical area of Oakland.

Both my family and I will stay here again, and we hope to be greeting my Sandip in the future!

this is not the classiest or nicest hotel, but i cannot say enough great things about the staff and manager here. just watch out for the crazies.

I spent two nights in two different rooms and both rooms were immaculately clean. The beds were clean. The bathroom was just as clean and well stocked. But the rooms were rented by someone else and I didn't go out once I was in the room. So those are going to be left blank.

Its a cute boutique type feeling spot. This is located in a fantastic area, close to BART and a bunch of food and coffee options. Rooms were clean.

Friendly Workers. Clean and tidy. Great breakfast. Lots of space. Comfy rooms. Excellent security. !!! Very close to JLS Marina. Convenient Parking. !!! Lots of Restaurants. Close to movie Theater. Had lots of fun.!!!

The Ramada downtown Oakland is a fabulous hotel. Conveniently located just a few blocks from the federal building where I had some Coast Guard business. I highly recommend!

Immaculately clean, great size, good check out times and generally excellent value for money. The elevator is very slow though.

Sundi the front desk clerk was GREAT! He was so helpful and friendly. This hotel is okay if looking for a place on a budget in the area but the customer service is what did it for me.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. There are restaurants and plenty of bars in the vicinity or can Uber to where you want to go.

Can't rent a room here without a chipped card. Inconvenient but the staff is very nice and it's very clean.

EXCELENT LOCATION CLOSED TO EVERYTHING IN DOWN TOWN OAKLAND. STORS , PARKS AND MANY RESTAURANTS.

The desk clerk Sandip(sp) was extremely helpful and patient with us. I highly recommend this hotel.

Rooms are nice and clean and quiet. Staff very friendly.

Ayu the manager was so friendly and warm, I felt a sense of being welcomed by her.
