Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas La Costa Town Square

Great movie location! We went to an afternoon show and truly enjoyed the food and the movie! We tried the Butter poached lobster tacos. They were very spicy, so if you like heat, this is for you! They were really tasty. We also had cocktails. The Mango Rita and Tropical Mule complimented the food really well. An excellent place for a date night.

My daughter and her BF introduced me to this theatre since moving back to SD. What a comfortable and enjoyable way to watch a movie. Great service each time. First choice when looking for a movie to see, and definitely will come back.

Tuesdays are half off, which is nice if you don't want to drop $20 on a movie ticket if you're a broke student. Also for the record they don't often check for your tickets, idk. Great for group events.

Seat feel private even when sitting next to people the reserved seating was nice the food was better than I expected. The blueberry tea was really good 4.5

Comfortable seats and food service to boot. Love that their popcorn is made with coconut oil rather than the typical movie popcorn fake butter.

It’s like new, very clean & you can still smell the new leather reclining seats… great service & drinks popcorn served in a stainless bowl & drinks are in tumblers not paper cups we will def come back 9/14/23 Eq3 great film too 🎥

It’s possible the other 1 star reviews are for the other cinepolis location off of El Camino Real, in La Costa as well by the Vons it’s a much older theatre & may need improvements but the theatre on Rancho Santa Fe was wonderful & it’s a newer theatre kinda a hidden secret we happened upon as we thought the older one had shut down… lucky day🍀

Absolutely love this place have been to this location as well as the other La Costa location and this time saw the new Paw Patrol movie 2 with my son and it was amazing! So cute and funny and great employee service. Clean bathrooms and not crowded no immature audiences, meaning inconsiderate guests, and it was an overall great location and experience and service thank you Guys! For a great day with my kiddo!

This theater is very nice. I love the seats that lean back and feet go up. The service is great.

Very comfortable seating, very good service. I was expecting the price of the seats to be quite a lot higher than regular cinemas but it was about $5 more.

I love a theater where I can get actual food with my movie. We had the Truffle Fries and the Lobster Mac & Cheese and both were so good. I also had the cold brew, which was quite sweet but had the caffeine I was looking for! I imagine we will be here again in the future, it was a fun afternoon with family enjoying a movie.

Theater was clean and staff were super nice! Saw a few of them chatting while cleaning dishes which I love to see happy staff = happy customers. Food was good with reasonable prices and potion sizes. It is a bit expensive for the tickets but it’s worth it for everything it’s got! Only thing is that the theater was a little cold which would normally be good but it was night so yeah.

Only thing is... Once you go Cinepolis you can't go back. This theater is true to their other luxury theaters.

1. Ample spaces are conversations in the grand entrance areas. 2. Ample culinary options to complement cinematic presentations. 3. Knowledgeable waiters and waitresses who have insights about culinary options. 4. Spacious, reclining, plush leather sofas with built-in alert buttons that allow waiters and waitresses to connect your cuisine requests to the prep kitchen.

This was my first time to a Cinépolis Cinema and my first time back to a movie theatre since the pandemic started, and the experience was wonderful. You make your way to your theatre and seats then can press the service button when you are ready to order your snacks and drinks. We of course tried the popcorn (popped in coconut oil and refillable), and also had their trio of baked cookies (I highly recommend the white chocolate macadamia nut one). We each had a cocktail and they were surprisingly good!

If you get the chance to go to Cinépolis theatre, go. You won't be disappointed!

Saw Top Gun 2 again, had a great time! Large mixed drinks for a great price. Food was pretty good. Had nachos and chicken tenders. Daughter said they were good. Recliners are the main attraction, simply amazing for movie watching. Very good experience, will visit again!

One of our favorite places to watch a movie. Good food and good service.
