Michaels

During my visit, Michaels staff was present and working on keeping the store organized and easy for customer to navigate.

I really like the class schedule posted near the entrance as it draws the interest of both novice and expert creators of ‘stuff.’

Great selection of stuff and fantastic sales going on right now.

I always want to buy everything in the store. If you're bored, just go to Michael's. Want your kids to stop whining about screen time, just go to Michael's. Want to give your mom a gift that isn't quite perfect, but will give her a big smile, go to Michael's

The fun selection. I just bought a wooden castle that opens up to explore the rooms. Would be awesome for a child to color and decorate both the outside and inside but I am using it in my bird aviary! Lucky birdies.

This Michael's near La Costa & Rancho Santa Fe has EVERYTHING and I mean everything. It certainly gives Hobby Lobby a run for their monry.

There was nothing I could think of that they didn't have whether it be Stencils for glass etching, nippers for mosaics, beads galore, jewelry display items, glittery blingy key chains and badge lanyards, etc.

We found an old piece of coral at the back of a consignment store. It was stuck in some kind of kids’ rock hard putty. After we cut it loose, we took it to Rob at Michael’s, and told him what we envisioned. He knew how precious the piece was to us, explained how they would mount it etc. and …… guess what!?!

It was ready on the day promised, and was even more beautiful than we expected!

We are thrilled!

Rob even helped me carry it to the car, and told us to hire a professional installer to mount it in the studs for safety reasons.

If we could give 6 stars we would.

I always find what I need at Michaels. Been wanting to have a handpainted tea towel framed for a Christmas gift. Luckily, I found an 80% off coupon for custom framing! I worked with manager, Emily who is creative, patient and helpful. Custom piece will be ready in 2 weeks! Thank you for terrific savings and quality workmanship.

Great selection! This store has more. Of what? Everything. Ha! Bridal section is stocked with all kinds of lights to string up indoors and out for any occasion. Gentleman there was helpful. Girl at checkout helpful as well. From my receipt store # 1290 on Via Montebello is my new go to. Worth the drive.

Friendly service - clean new store! I'm in town for Thanksgiving and needed some last minute supplies to make cupcakes. Found what I needed as I expected I would! Be sure to sign up for Michaels rewards (can be done online or in store) and check for coupons online before you go! Love this place

This Michael's tends to be smaller than most but it is a nice little place. Being smaller it usually has less people which is nice to take our time and shop for my wife's needs.
Everyone we have encountered has been knowledgeable about the different crafts, how to do this and that and always knows where something is or if it's even carried. Even when my wife got the wrong sewing machine, they were quick and easy to swap, no questions asked and were in general awesome about the whole process.

This is the BEST Michaels in North County! One of the biggest stores & Clean, bright &Well organized. Even the CLEARANCE aisle is organized! That says a lot! If you are a Michaels regular & have been to other stores then you'll understand what I mean by the clearance being organized. I visit any given Michaels at least once a week (yes,I clearly need some help or friends lol) and have to say that I will go out of my way to come to the Carlsbad/La Costa store just for the organized clearance aisle. I've been through other locations & had items have fall onto me-a bottle of essential oils fell and splattered all over my clothes while I perused the clearance piles. I no longer shop there. I always leave with more than I planned to and the guest service is always a quality experience.

They always have a wide selection of items. All labeled well. They do change the store around to keep you shopping for more things. But, I don't mind that. I like finding new crafts and art kits to do.

Was greeted to smiles, shiny cleared floors, very calm quiet kinda store. Cashier was professional & fast. Thanks. Definitely, coming back with reinforcements. ;)

Forgot how much I loved Michael's! Amazing low prices! I feel like there's always a sale and a coupon so the deals are even better. All the staff is super friendly and the store is well organized and clean!

This is the better Michaels in the area, they carry Professional artist paints and brushes... Others carry student level
