Duke's Steakhouse

Step onboard to this gorgeous establishment and dine fine. The 10oz Filet was superb with a rich, smoky flavor and a buttery finish. The oysters Rockefeller was superb with a delectable touch of sweetness. The star of the Caesar salad was the parm chips and anchovies. After my husband finished the beef wellington, he stated, "That was the best appetizer he has ever had." A bold statement as we have dined all of the country. It was also stated that the loaded baked potato was the best he has had in a long time.."It was done correctly. Everything was put together and portioned correctly." The microgreens were the most fresh I've ever tasted. I've never had microgreens that didn't smell off like bleach or mildew. The banana cream pie tart with caramel was sinful but light. Love the divine little truffles that were given out with the check. A sweet and thoughtful touch to add to our $200 bill. Shawn provided excellent service. The food was timed perfectly, and he was very attentive. Wonderful night!!

This is the best dinner I have had in a long time. I had a 6 Oz Fillet Mignon, a baked potato (loaded), fresh veggies & a mixed greens salad with the best ranch dressing I have ever had in a restaurant. The steak was melt in you mouth delicious, and the potato was soooo good. Our waiter ((Alex) was very nice & attentive but not overly invasive. We will definitely go back again (& again). Prices were right on for the food & service.

We had a superb dinner there on Feb 10/24. Lots of great atmosphere at DUKES. Starting from the sweet girl who sat us at our table everything was excellent. Cocktails had some punch to them, which is AWESOME! I had the sea bass, and BF had steak. Salad and clam chowder were delish, as were the baked potatoes with all the trimmings. Server was spot on. This is a top notch restaurant!

This is the best restaurant I've found not only in Carson City, but within 100 miles of Reno. Pictured is the lobster bisque, which was a unique presentation and very tasty. Steak was also excellent and cooked to order. Service by Sean was outstanding, cocktails were very strong, and ambiance was pleasant. Will definitely return.

very delicious! all of the food is excellent. i have one complaint though: the truffle mac n cheese used to have ravioli type noodles and it was incredible, but they have now suddenly decided to change it to just plain regular noodles and i think that was a horrible idea. no offense. please change it back on behalf of everyone ever. it was so good before. you have to bring back the ravioli noodles. thank you.

Everything we had was very tasty and the waiter was very nice and took good care of us.

Alex was our original waiter but it seemed like he forgot about us, maybe judged us by the way looked or thought we weren't gonna tip him well. Adrian took our order. He was super helpful. Then Alex popped back up and brought us our food. Our food was outstanding. I had the surf and turf. Our steaks were a perfect medium rare, melt in your mouth good. My lobster bisque was magnificent. The brie puff pastry was delicious. Even the chocolate cake al mode was fantastic. My son, boyfriend and I were there for over two hours enjoying our dinner. The atmosphere and vibe was great. Definitely recommend for a good steakhouse here in carson city. Thank you

Wonderful steakhouse. The food was extraordinary. Unfortunately, our server, Adrian, doesn't fully understand his position. The job of a server, especially at this price point, is to listen and serve. Never ever say no.

When I was asked what type of dressing I wanted on my salad, I asked if they had Bleu cheese and a balsamic vinergarette? Adrian said they did. I asked if he could toss the salad. He said NO.

Once again, at that price point and the restaurants stature, I was shocked by his answer. I asked Adrian to bring me a bowl so I could toss my own salad. It amazes me that he was able to toss the Caesar salad that was ordered but not mine?

When my salad arrived, it had a side of Bleu cheese dressing and a side of oil and vinegar. That's not what I ordered. I asked Adrian for the balsamic vinegarette, and he pointed to the balsamic vinegar. It would appear that Adrian doesn't know the difference.

Other than that, the meal was sensational.

I had an amazing meal, Halibut,, the entire meal was extremely good, the only disappointment was the seafood tower for $85, it was a two tier of mostly ice and some seafood variations,, other than that I recommend Dukes to bring a significant other to, , ,

Father's Day Brunch is always delicious. Got home and took a snooze after eating so much today. Alex was our server, Perfection!

Duke's is my go-to place for a special occasion dinner celebration.

The lobster is unbelievable! Delicious tender and huge! That was August. We just dined there again tonight (Nov. 25). Still the best! Tonight, the rack of lamb takes the prize !!!

We had an exceptional dinner here. Our server, Sean, was gracious and efficient. The New York Strip was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back.

We spent a wonderful evening at dukes on Saturday night. Atmosphere was perfect the food was excellent from the bread, the appetizers, grilled oysters to die for. Best prime rib, and the best filet. And not to mention the cream brûlée , but what made the evening was are waiter Adrian a young man with outstanding service and excellent conversation and super awesome personality what a remarkable young man. Everything ceased perfectly performed can’t wait to book another reservation at dukes

This is a delicious steakhouse. If you go here please ask for Alex he is a great server and gives great service.

Definitely a great place for a great steak, didn't take any pictures unfortunately, however the ahi and lobster bisque was awesome, and a bottle of petite syrah. PERFECT Combination...

My wife and I came here for her birthday, and we were thoroughly impressed by the quality of everything. The atmosphere is comfortable, and the food is delicious. Our waiter, Victor, was incredibly proficient and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be going back in the near future!

Can I say the best steak I have ever eaten? Yes, I can!

I had a filet and it was spectacular! The crust on it was fabulous. Lightly salted, it was great.

I had to ask them what made it so good. They dry age it for 28 days...i didn't know that really worked. They showed me they actually cook the steaks over a wood fire on a Texas bbq type rig.

Garlic mash potatoes were great too, but that steak!

I went mid week and the place was somewhat slow. Service was fabulous and friendly.

It is surprising to find a steak house of this caliber in the back of a casino in Carson City. Better than some of the really pricey Las Vegas places I have been.

Oh yeah, I didn't really know I was going to eat here so I wasn't dressed up. It is really kinda fancy. I asked them ofI was dressed ok, they said Sure!
