After-Hours Medical Care

I was warmly greeted; check in was pretty simple and painless. I got taken back for evaluation within 5 minutes of arriving. Both the nurse and the doctor were kind, asked great questions, really listened to me and what was going on. I felt like I got great care and they took the time to work with me as a human, not just a carrier of an illness. I would definitely go back in the future and recommend them to others.

Everyone was very accommodating. The doctor was terrific. Both the doctor and his associates took a lot of time to listen to me and provide treatment.

I face planted and broke my nose in two places, and everyone in this office had a wonderful synergy with each other and with their patients. I walked in, very worried as to the extent of what my injury was, and I walked out dying laughing. Truly amazing people, turned my whole day around. And have me the answers I needed and direction on next steps to take.

This is the BEST place in the valley to go for any kind of emergency. Dr. Seymore and his staff are excellent, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. What more could a person want when in need of treatment. The treatment is explained so that the patient understands what is being done. Excellent follow-up too.

Dr Tai and nurse Paula (I think was her name) were great, I am a diabetic and wear an insulin pump, My sight became infected and they had to cut it open and drain the puss. It hurt but they cleaned it up nicely, I will follow up this evening

I visited this hospital when I got injured by crashing into a tree stump at Snowmass mountain. My right shin got a cut around 2-3inch wide and it was deep enough to see some muscle. I needed to stitch the cut. However, Snowmass urgent care was about to charge me way over my budget since I didn’t have any insurance. I visited hospitals and clinics around Aspen. Aspen Valley Hospital was very affordable even for people who don’t have insurance. Doctor Seymour is friendly, courteous, cheerful and most of all a very competent professional. He is someone you can ask anything without any doubt. After he analyzed my cut very carefully, he explained me well about the condition and the process of surgery step by step.
Doctor Seymour and his assistant Annie saved me from getting panicked (the cut looked so brutal then...) It’s been two days and I’m coming to check up right now. Stuffs of Aspen Valley Hospital are always very nice to me. I’d definitely recommend Dr. Seymour who saved my dream trip of Aspen.

Due to an unfortunate accident that resulted in a knife going clear through my hand, I ended up at the Basalt After-Hours Medical Care clinic. My experience there was wonderful. Jules & Wendy were kind & expedient with my check-in process. I then met Emma in the room who was professional & compassionate as she made sure I was comfortable & got me ready for the doctor.
Dr Seymour helped me thru painful shots, with distracting me completely with his great jokes. His humor also helped me thru the stitches part. Paula was wonderful as she helped with the bandaging process. I left smiling & feeling like I was given royal treatment.
When I went back for a check-up, Cre, Sarah & Rosa took great care of me as well. Dr Bowen was really helpful, in telling me more how to care for the wound and reassuring me that it looked great with its healing process. A truly wonderful team that makes one feel better amidst the trauma of their injury! Thanks.

We had a wonderful experience at After-Hours Medical Care. Cre & Dr. Joshua Seymour took great care of my daughter with such compassion. I was grateful to be seen so quickly even though they were so busy. Dr Joshua spent a lot of time with us making sure that we discussed all of our options - highly suggesting that we don't go the pharmaceutical route with our particular situation. I really appreciated his caution. Bottom line, we very much felt cared for. Thank you for helping calm a nervous mother during these unprecedented times.

Last week my three year old son tipped backwards out of a chair and cut the back of his head open. He had to be seen at the Basalt After-Hours Clinic and we were fortunate he only needed a few staples. Dr. Seymour and all of the staff there handled it like pros. It was our first experience at the clinic and it was amazing!! From the initial visit, to the check up and finally the staple removal the entire process was seamless and relaxed. The clinic was super easy to get to, instead of having to drive all the way up to the ER at the hospital in Aspen. A big thank you to everyone who helped us there — you guys went the extra mile to make sure my son and I felt safe and comfortable. When a child is hurt it is stressful for everyone and Basalt After-Hours made the process of dealing with an emergency a positive one.
