What a great place! They have such a huge selection of used gear. Their prices are great and their staff is really knowledgeable about the gear they sell. Wide selection of skis, snowboards, Winter clothing. Everything you could need for a wintery day on the slopes or in the backcountry. Why not stop by and see if they have what you want!

Clay went above and beyond to help us today. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He talked us through everything we needed to know about split boards and was just so genuine and kind. I'm so thankful for all his help.

These guys are the best! Large selection of used sporting goods, full range of qualities and prices! Free Coffee! Very knowledgeable (and good-looking) staff will get you into gear for a fraction of the price otherwise.

The new location has so much more space to work through all the content. The employees are super helpful, seem happy and are easy to work with. The aisles have so much more space to walk through. The product content is 10/10, you can go get river trip gems or a used rain layer way above your pay grade. As a consignment shop should me.

Mainly the only reason to be anywhere is because of the people and ragged provides the community for the people.

Today I bought my first pair of ski boots instead of renting after 12 years away from skiing. I was stressed to go in and look for them, and got even more stressed as I struggled to put them on and figure out if they were right. After asking for help though, a staff member found a pair for me in less than 5 minutes. She was kind, helpful, non-judgemental, and even asked about my budget for the boots. Getting into sports as an adult is hard and intimidating, and the Ragged staff helped to make it fun and exciting for me.

This place is a real gold mine. Beau & other staff were very very helpful... sharing lots of wisdom about gear in an accessible, no-ego sorta way. Hard to find this kind of friendly customer service vibe in the gear-head affluent ski world... Perfect place for folks who are green to snow + alpine and need an affordable but quality set up.

Best used and new gear store around! Exciting selection and quality of items available. Love the staff!!! I have been consigning here for about 8 years and every single experience has been GREAT! This place is super rad with a lot of great deals. Staff are super helpful and definitely want for you to leave happy, not with the most expensive gear. I haven't sold anything here and would be interested in trying the process.

Ragged has a badass selection and is so obviously well-run. This is a community-centric business that everyone should lean to. I’ve worked in the outdoor industry and retail for years and this spot clearly shines. It’s so evident that the management is quality and people are taken care of.

Really good selection of used gear - bicycling, skiing, camping, hiking, etc. Got a Specialized Hybrid in really nice condition and they were willing to bargain. Highly recommend!

My girlfriend bought a Klein mountain bike here which she loved but soon after we got it home a bike mechanic pointed out that a portion of the rear hub was cracked. When I contacted the owner he was apologetic and happily reimbursed us for a comparable wheel. This shop and it's owners are vital members of the community. Thanks for all you do Steve, keep it up!

Someone referred me to this shop in Carbondale. I just needed hiking poles to hike Hanging Lake in the snow and ice. They didn’t have any for sale but the clerk went in the back and found a mismatched pair. One was bent a bit but I was really happy just to have them.
It is refreshing to have someone go the extra mile to give good service.
If you need sports equipment, I would recommend stopping in and checking out their equipment... just might be cheaper than renting.

Wow. This store had everything. I bought walking equipment, snowshoes and a pair of yak tracks, A wooden covered water bottle, cool, and just because they fit, and the price was right, burton snow pants. They had bikes out already too.

The people are friendly and knowledgeable. They know what's cool and what sells. It's a good feeling to check my account at the end of the season and walk out with $146. They have tons of sporting goods and clothing for adults and children.

Ragged Mountain Sports is THE PLACE to get the gear you need in the Roaring Fork Valley area. Whether you are looking to purchase new & used gear or rent a set up for the day, ragged can provide! I just enjoyed a marvelous day of spontaneous cross country skiing thanks to them!!
In addition to gear, all the people of ragged mountain are wellsprings of knowledge and happy to share it with you! Ask about any sport and they can give you more beta than you can remember.

Everyone who works there is super sexy and extremely knowledgeable. Best prices you can find anywhere. Music could improve but I hear they are working on a new playlist. All around good vibes. 5 thumbs way up!
