Aspenalt Lodge

We stayed for 10 days as our daughter lives in town and just had a baby. We booked the apartment and found it to be perfectly suited to our needs. It is nicely updated and laid out with a lovely fully equipped kitchen. The beds are very comfy with a nice leather couch in the living area plus 2 tvs. The free breakfast is very good with several options and it’s a short walk to all other restaurants and shops that the quaint town of Basalt has to offer. Easy drive to all surrounding beautiful towns of Aspen, Carbondale and Redstone. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Coming back in January!

Centrally located, clean room with good amenities. Microwave, Mini Fridge, 4 cup Coffee maker with quality coffee to boot.

Aspenalt was the perfect place to stay for our ski trip to Aspen Snowmass! It was a super close drive (I even think the shuttles would have picked up close by if we needed them), the rooms were very cute with nice comfy beds and most importantly, the service here was above and beyond! Thank you so much to the staff here for accommodating us despite some confusion with our check-in time and schedule which was definitely my fault. It would be nice if they had 24 hour service front desk service, but I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Great place to live if you want to ski in snowmass. Its a nice motel with free nice breakfast which saves you lots of morning time. The location is close to the road but luckily the soundproof there is relatively good. There is a river so you can take a walk

Great location close to Aspen at half the price. Free breakfast comfortable beds and very clean rooms. Waking up on the river is a great way to start the day. Nice they still service rooms during your stay. Lots of restaurants within walking distance We will be back.

I love this place. I have stayed here many times. People are friendly and the river is so lovely. This last time there were some very noisy guests which is unusual so I hope this place stays peaceful. I do wish breakfast included some gluten free low sugar cereal, bread and yogurt. Rooms have been remodeled since I was there in 2018 and they are clean. Its reasonably priced compared to other places in the area.

The front desk personnel was extremely courteous and the room was impeccable. It was pretty warm while we were there and there was no A/C in the room so it was a bit warm but livable. The location was perfect and we just walked everywhere we needed to go. I would definitely consider staying here again if I ever come back through here!!!

We checked into the hotel late Thursday night. The beds were not comfortable at all! I called the manager and Mary was fantastic! She changed out rooms and gave me the best customer service I have had in quite some time. We will definitely be back!

We loved our recent stay at Aspenalt Lodge! The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean and very comfortable. I loved the location next to the River. You can walk to many restaurants and hiking trails are nearby. Very quaint and cozy.

Vacation trip with my husband and I absolutely loved it, hotel rooms where really clean and the view was spectacular. Staff was very friendly Cleaning personnel were awesome. Looking forward to coming back sincerely form Phoenix Arizona

We spent five nights here while visiting the valley and we're very pleased with the service. Extra pillows n comfy beds were a plus. Very clean n friendly....Kate @ front desk is an asset to your business. Thoroughly enjoyed nightly cocoa n cookies in the lounge. We will return

Stayed at river view room. Arrived too late to enjoy the view. Took a picture in the early morning before we left. Super comfy 2 beds, had a good night sleep after a long day. Had the window open was a bonus, made the room humidity perfect for sleep, otherwise Colorado summer is too dry for me.
No breakfast due to COVID.

Nice desk associate, very easy check in with recommendations for where we could eat! Drive up to rooms which is nice for carrying luggage. Rooms are big with lots of room, but bathroom seemed a little dirty (not horrible, just needs updates). Good price considering everything in this area is very expensive!

A very nice, clean and comfortable hotel. I love the rooms on the Frying Pan River for the soothing sounds of the water. Lots of little shops, restaurants, bars, convenience stores, liquor store and other points of interest within a short walking distance. And the staff are all very friendly!

Great no frills lodging. The river is nice and peaceful. Great pub with awesome food and a coffee shop walking distance. The staff were very accommodating. Highly recommended if you want to avoid the rates in Aspen.

Nice, clean place located right on the river. A two minute to walk into town.

My wife and I stayed in the apartment, and enjoyed it. Two queen beds, two big tvs, nice kitchen.

I was very impressed when we arrived. The lobby is very modern and the staff is exceedingly friendly. The rooms were nothing fancy but clean and exactly as advertised. We got two rooms with two queen beds each and each room had a desk and a table and tv. The breakfast and coffee in the mornings was bigger than I expected and very tasty. I would say spend the $5 extra a night to get a riverside room as you can hear and see it from your front door! The lodge is about 20 minute drive from Snowmass and 30 from aspen/highlands/buttermilk which was perfect for our budget and time. I would return here.

Very nice affordable motel lodge. Highly recommend a room with the river view...open a window and sleep to the sound of the Fryingpan River. Older motel but very clean and lots of room. Latest check in is 9pm! We arrived later not knowing this, owner was very accommodating.
