The Ruston Chapel

I can’t thank Debbie enough of how wonderful she is. My fiancée and I had less than 2 months to plan a wedding due to him being in the service. To find a place at such short notice with all the little details included and for me not to worry about buying things that I will only use once and then left in storage was such a blessing. I only had to bring in the officiant, food, cake and alcohol. We were able to accommodate 50 people in the chapel. The whole staff was so wonderful with us. We got so many compliments about the wedding. Debbie is such a phenomenal coordinator. She directed us during the rehearsal what works best in the space.The only thing I regret was not taking a picture with Debbie and the staff. They were the best! Ladies if you are on a budget and can get your guest list down to 50 guests this is the place to do it!

Absolutely fantastic ! I was just married there a few days ago . 06/17/23 . We had the best wedding 😊 From the extremely attentive staff to the sound system to the charming chapel beautifully decorated with lovely flowers . Things couldn't have gone any better . Absolutely beautiful! Everyone was so gracious and helpful. Very impressed with the pricing and services. The chapel is intimate without being cramped. So many places for photo opportunities. Everyone had a wonderful time and the wedding went seamlessly.

Best little Chapel this side of the state! I have worked here on multiple occasions, and I can not recommend them enough. Not only does the owner really love her work and her clients, but the pride they have in their little Chapel is just the best! You will have the best time here if you are looking for a church setting!

Our wedding went off without a hitch. It was amazing. The chapel is amazingly decorated. Debbie and her staff were amazing and took care of us and all our family . It was as magical as we had hoped it would be and as stress free as we wanted it. They took care of everything. The day was awesome. The chapel was awesome. Debbie and her staff were awesome. This place can't be beat especially for the price we paid.

Finding this chapel, and meeting Debbie were two pinnacle moments to helping me create the wedding I have always dreamed of. We had 42 guests and it felt cozy but not cramped. Debbie went above and beyond creating the decor that I had imagined, and keeping the day moving as promised. I’m crying typing this, but I was truly treated like a princess and didn’t have to worry about anything with her and her staff. She also catered, and the food was exceptional. Highly recommend. I was married at the Ruston chapel on Friday July 28th 2017. The whole entire experience was wonderful. The owner Debra was incredibly sweet and informative. She helped make our special day go so smoothly and it was so stress free. On the day of the wedding she had two helpers there who were great. Debra also officiated our wedding and she did a great job. The chapel is adorable. We were knew we wanted to get married there from the second that we walked in. It's so cozy and warm and the decor was really pretty. We wanted a small intimate wedding that wouldn't break the bank, we got it here! Our guests are still telling me how beautiful the wedding was. My husband and I had our wedding here at The Ruston Chapel. We had a beautiful wedding that we will always cherish and remember. Debbie made our special day so special. She paid attention to every detail and made my bouquet and the boutonniers for us too. It was a beautiful wedding and Debbie made sure it was perfect for us! We also did catering through Debbie and the food was amazing and our guests loved it! Highly reccomend getting married here! Debbie and her staff are amazing ❤ Debbie is so welcoming, and the price we paid for our wedding you can't beat!

We ended up going to Debbie and her team at The Ruston Chapel because of canceling our original location due to COVID. From the moment I met Debbie, I was sooo impressed by her warmth. She took lots of notes and really got her arms around what I liked and was looking for. I am a bit OCD about details and I was just stressing myself out about the details and making sure things went smoothly....that is until I met Debbie! She calmed my nerves enough for me to feel confident and relaxed about turning it all over to her. I wasn't disappointed! It was AMAZING!!! My guest were so impressed by her and her team and they raved about the chapel. My wedding day was the absolute best day of my LIFE!! In spite of COVID, it was stunning! I wish I could relive that day! It was everything and MORE than I had hoped for. She helped us ensure masks were worn, she modified serving of the food (which she catered herself...IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!!) She understood my vision and brought it to life! I would recommend her and this chapel to ANYONE wanting a small to medium ceremony in a beautiful and easy to get to location! She did the flowers too! I just can't rave enough about the experience! They do EVERYTHING and her daughter is a baker and she did our cake(s), which everyone loved too! It was just AWESOME!!! We cannot thank you enough!!! Becoming Jordan - September 4, 2020

I'm super late sharing this review, but I can't recommend the Ruston Chapel enough!
It's the people inside that really make it count. Debbie and her girls make planning a wedding as easy as getting an oil change. Every detail is carefully curated, their knowledge, expertise, and spirit are phenomenal! The kind of people you want in your whole life, not just your wedding. On a scale of 1-10, they hit 1,000! 💗💗💗love you Debbie!!!!!

We hosted a lovely bridal shower here and everything was great! Recommend checking this place out! The communication from Debbie, the owner, was great from the start; she answered my questions in a reasonable turn around time and was very understanding when we rescheduled from April 2020, then April 2021, to now finally, April 2022. Everything that was stated in the contract was provided. They have everything so beautiful in there, we didn't even need to decorate a whole ton for our theme. I did not realize that we would have an helper/attendant, a wonderful and sweet woman named Alba there with us the whole event time to help us with everything. She was there with us to help set up, clean up, break down, and just be an extra helping hand throughout the entire thing. She was great and we were so happy we chose this gorgeous venue for the great service, the beautiful, rustic, & classy atmosphere, and the expertise of the staff. Thank you!

My wife and I were married here 2 weeks ago (Oct 2022), and we cannot say enough good things about the Ruston Chapel! Our experience was absolutely phenomenal.

First, and most importantly, Debbie and the rest of the staff were so genuine and kind. They worked so hard to make sure our day was everything we wanted it to be. The chapel was decorated beautifully, and exactly how we had envisioned. Our MOH was especially grateful for all of their help the day of. They truly went above and beyond to make it special and ensure that we had zero stress and could just enjoy our day. Debbie even jumped on the dance floor and did the Cupid Shuffle with us.

They are LGBT friendly here. This was one of my first questions for them before we even booked our date because I didn't see any reviews with queer weddings, so I want to make sure and mention that. We're both women, and felt very welcomed and accepted. Their contracts say "Name 1" and "Name 2" instead of bride and groom, which to me was an important (though small) detail.

From a pragmatic standpoint, this venue offers so much value for your money. They have a variety of packages from elopements to a full ceremony and reception for up to 50 guests which are all inclusive. Decor, flowers, set up and clean up, help with planning and coordination, everything. Debbie can even officiate the ceremony if you would like. This took a lot of the stress out of the whole process for us. The only things we had to worry about were catering and what we wanted to wear. Debbie is there to help every step of the way throughout the planning process with great ideas and recommendations to help make our day exactly what we wanted it to be while also saving us money. When compared with other wedding venues, The Ruston Chapel's level of service really sets itself apart. 10/10 would recommend.

Owner did a wonderful job of making our Son & Daughter-in-laws day perfect. Very affordable, beautiful perfect for a small intimate wedding.

Ruston chapel is an amazing place. Everyone there is so kind and helpful they made our wedding stress free as possible. It's a beautiful place to get married with beautiful people working there.

Debbie was so helpful and made everything beautiful for our daughter's small elopement ceremony last Saturday! Customized decorations, flowers, music, set up for sand ceremony and more all for an amazing price. The staff showed caring and made everything easy and stress free! The chapel is prettier on the inside than I expected and close to Point Defiance for additional photos after the ceremony. They made our daughter and her new husband very happy!

The Ruston Chapel is where I held my fall themed wedding on 11-3-18. I wasn't aware of all the details that came into play with having a wedding. I came to Debbie in the summer with a wedding date and not much else information. There were only three months to get everything in place. The time went by so quickly and i felt overwhelmed. The day of the wedding was amazing the decorations were gorgeous, the environment was calm and peaceful, and the staff were so kind and helpful. You could tell the staff have done this on several occasions by how organized they were. Even though they do many weddings you could tell they loved what they do by how much detail they put into their work and making me feel like a queen for the day. The prices are unbeatable. If i could do my wedding day all over again without any hesitation I would choose The Ruston Chapel with the extraordinary staff I had the pleasure to work with.
