Love this Safeway it's definitely the smallest but I love that abut it, makes it easy to find anything and everything!

Vacation here every year from Florida to visit our daughter and we always look forward to our yearly Safeway for room supplies very impressed with your store.

They are friendly, have a little bit of everything so you can usually find what you need there and they are efficient. And, from their plain blank cake to my own frosting with fresh organic strawberries! Thank you from our twins who turned 34 and our family who loved the cake!

This is a very clean, well-stocked store. The deli and bakery feature some great choices. It's always a pleasure to shop here, as there are usually enough cashiers to keep the lines down to a minimum.

This is a very good Safeway location. It's very well laid out. There are constant sales and really good buy one get one sales. The manager is a very nice man. There are a few handycapped workers here and they are nice and very hard working. The Deli food is always fresh and hot, I highly recommend thier Pizza Sticks, they are pricey but very good. They also have lots of carts for elderly people to drive. The cakes and donuts in the Bakery are very good and fresh, they will customize a cake and write whatever you want on it ir add other decorations. They have a huge produce area with very fresh fruits and vegetables. Definitely come to this Safeway location for your shopping.

First, love this one because it's still open until 1 am. Amazing. Second, the overnight staff is nice and helpful but not intrusive. They haven't seemed annoyed at larger purchases closer to closing which I greatly appreciate. Good selection, mostly stocked shelves. Except fruit bar type things in the frozen section last time. Bummer. But I'll live i suppose.

Store wasn't busy. They have an incredible selection of cheeses, wines, beer, deli items, ready made meals, specialty items, organic produce, and much more.

1st time in over a year no MASK, yahoo. Little Safeway has all you need. Something you can't find at Proctor, go to Pearl Safeway. & try the Strawberry drink

Carol is the best I always enjoy coming to Proctor safeway because I always get a friendly wave and smile even though she's busy she will stop and say hello. Store employees amazing there and the meat department folks are wonderful and helpful. Self check out always has help available Proctor Safeway us always clean and staff amazing 👏 😀

One of the more consistently well stocked Safeway stores in Tacoma.
Store is busier than most right after it opens but there are usually plenty of store employees.
Late night crew is friendly & helpful. You might even get a nostalgic hang & a good joke at the register if you're the only customer in line.
Avoid showing up 15 minutes before closing time.

Love this place! Great store in a great neighborhood- the vibrant and cosmopolitan Proctor district. Has a good deli and also a Starbucks. Great alcohol selection. The pharmacy is helpful. The meat and fish selection could be better but the staff is friendly. Love the check out staff. They always engage you in friendly conversation.

The best Safeway around. Clean, helpful staff, awesome selection. Always a great place to shop.

Always nice staff and well stocked. Sometimes the lines move slowly, but that's because the cashiers are sincere and friendly. The Safeway on Pearl is bigger but this one is great for all the basics and a bit more. Lots of parking even for Proctor, but can be crowded on Friday nights (of course) after work.

My favorite place for Groceries, Spirits, etc..., in the North End of Tacoma!

Above average Produce Dept., Butcher/Fresh Seafood Counters and Bakery Department.
They feature Premier Deli's, with a large selection of both Local and International Cheeses, Wine & Spirits, Handmade Sushi (by an actual Sushi Chef), and Made-to-Order Sandwiches, Subs, Soups and many more Specialty & Seasonal Items.
Too tired to cook? Need Hot Items or Deli Trays for a Lunch or Special Occasion? Then check out their 'Asian Express', freshly made Fried, Baked or Rotisserie Chicken, other Hot Items, Salads or their Deli Meats, Cheeses and "Special Orders" Counter, for fresh, hot items either To-Go or Dine-In. They have clean, lovely, Indoor and Outdoor Dining Areas. Indoors includes both Booth and Table seating, a Large Screen TV and a Warm, Welcoming Gas Fireplace.
Lastly, they also have in-house, a Full Service Starbucks Coffee, Pharmacy and Floral Departments.
The Parking area, in front of the store, is quite limited on space, although I've never had an issue with parking myself.
They do have additional parking both "On-Street" and an additional, small lot across the side-street next to, "North End Veterinary Hospital" and the Proctor Fire Station.

Nice, clean and friendly Safeway! Where staff are always helpful and knowledgeable and really treat the customers like guest in there store! Deli items are always freah and hot and willing to make fresh replacements upon requests! Always my number 1 choice for local groceries! Their wings are delicious!

To some people Safeway might be on the expensive side but if you’re familiar with their app and their digital coupons I’m sure you would agree that Safeway actually really hooks it up! I’m always getting free money on purchases, saving with coupons and flawlessly layering digital coupons with in store savings and I never have a difficult time at any of the Safeway locations including this one in redeeming these savings and it’s cool because it seems like not even a lot of store employees seem to know the great amount of savings you can make until they see my total drop down past 50% of the original price. Not to mention the general freebies you can get that do not include the $5 towards $5 purchase rewards! The first time I used the coupons and scored a Safeway freebie I redeemed in store and immediately with my receipt I got a second freebie and grabbed another! It’s great how Safeway saves me so much money with their promos and I really love shopping with them no matter the location. Always an A+ experience!

It's a smaller Safeway but often has the most remarkable employees working there. Always extremely helpful and kind. Worth visiting! It's my favorite in the Puget Sound area.

Clean store, great selection of Safeway brand products and name brand products. Their bakery has a lot of great breads and baked goods to choose from. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store has a nice ambiance. An overall pleasant place to shop.
