Sada Sushi & Izakaya

My fiance and I came for our first time for my birthday dinner, the sushi was amazing first off. The real highlight of the night was the incredible service from our waiter, Michael. He made us feel so welcome, gave great recommendations, and had a great balance of conversation/letting us enjoy our meal. 5 stars to the sushi chef and wait staff. Will be back again and again

This place has amazing gluten free options in fried Japanese choices! The sauces were incredible and the food was so tasty and great! We definitely will be back! The service was impressive and the atmosphere was on point! I recommend this place 100%!

Good sushi and bento boxes. Michael, our waiter, took good care of us. When a sushi rolls was missed from our order they made sure it came out quick and gave us a dessert for the table without asking to make up for the delay. We’ll come again 🙂

Pretty dope Sushi Spot located in Collegetown Corvallis Oregon. It reminds me of a speakeasy the entire restaurant is down about 12 flights of stairs and the lighting is real low and dim which makes for a more personal experience. Big city sushi restaurant quality in a small town. Our absolute favorite place with rice bowls also on the menu for those who want a delicious authentic heated Japanese dish + wide variety of sake to choose from. Staff are absolutely excellent too! Yummy place I can't wait to introduce the rest of my family to!

We stopped by Corvallis while relocating from the SF Bay Area to Seattle area and had an amazing dinner here. It was a 5 star experience and we will definitely stop by again if we are ever in the area in the future!

I am allergic to soy, dairy, and gluten, and Sada Sushi was very accommodating. The gluten free tempura shrimp was so good we forgot to take a picture before eating it all! Note that it is fried in the same fryer as regular gluten stuff so if you are celiac or more allergic than I am, then it might not be the best option. The sashimi platter and nigiri were very fresh and delicious. No allergic reaction of any kind was noted from my end.

A week later, we had realized that we forgot to take the itemized receipt for expensing the meal and the manager Kimberly was very helpful in promptly sending us a copy via email. Thanks again!

Good food like always. Like how I have been trying new things on the menu, and so far I found out I love all of them so far. The day I went with my family, our server was a little slow and took her a little bit to get to us or check up on us as well as refills. Still, there were other servers that were checking up on us. So he wasn't that bad.

Sada is one of the best sushi chefs in Oregon. And has been for many years. We've followed him since the early '90s when he was the sushi chef at Yuzen, in Seal Rock. His creativity and quality are second to none. Go and enjoy one of the special rolls, or the standard sushi items. You can't go wrong.

I'm going to give it a 5 because the sushi is lovely and the creativity is beautiful. The last two times we've gone the wait has been pretty long. I know we sometimes take bigger groups (6 or 7) but it can be a long wait.

The staff was helpful and attentive when they had time. I think next time we need to order some bento boxes or veg tempura to eat while they make all the sushi we order.

My fave is still the hamachi nigiri. Hard to beat.

The sushi here is really excellent. It's one of my favorite places to eat. We come here for my birthday dinner, and it's always a great time.

Sada Sushi & Izakaya has a lovely array of Japanese food on their menu. We ordered tempura, Ton Kotsu Ramen, Udon noodles and Unagi Don. Yummy!!!

The tatami room experience was awesome. The best place to experience authentic Japanese cuisine with a great ambience.

Sadas used to be in Newport, where I would be a weekly visitor. Sadly he moved but the quality is still there! Man did we feast and it was superb. Every roll was delicious. Thanks again for making my night and my belly happy.

We usually go here on Friday weekly to enjoy the japanese cuisine! Food is good, nice and friendly staff! They also gave us candy 🍬🥰

I really like their sushi rolls and tea pots. It feels very authentic. One or beaver roll is amazing. The sushi chef is Japanese which makes the experience better.

Very good Japanese cuisine. Lobster roll was delicious. Great service and nice atmosphere.
