Burst's Candies

Oh, yes. A candy store such as Burst's Candies always takes me back to childhood. Just to stand there and look at everything knowing the impossibility and grandeur of it all. I purchased a box of fruit candies. Each subtle in taste and delight. Enough sweetness to stay my voraciousness, and yet.... so very good. I shan't stay away long. Living in Eugene helps, but, return I vow I will. The two women behind the counter are a delight. Helpful. Stupendous. Professional.

Wonderful little candy/chocolate shop with attentive staff and delicious hand made candies. I was able to find some delicious chocolates for my wife on Valentine's Day that she absolutely loved! We will be coming back for more! Highly recommend getting their Corvallis chocolate bar. It's the perfect balance of sweet and tart for chocolate. Also their double chocolate truffles are amazing!

Love this place! Owner Chip is a great guy (Philomath High graduate). Loves candy/chocolate. Super knowledgeable. The chocolates u can get there are the best. Traditional recipes that date back almost 100 years. I just finished a divinity egg. Sooooo good! Go and buy something there. It is bespoke, unique, special and everything the world we live in is not. Must go!

I special order their chocolate covered ginger. They use the ginger from The Ginger People who source their ginger from Figi. Been ordering from Patrick for many years and he never disappoints. He is kind enough to special order this non-vegan chocolate for me as I don't like the texture of the vegan chocolate. I send 2 pound boxes to several friends and always get compliments.

One of my favorite local candy shops, I always make a point to visit Burst's Candies during the holidays. Their selection is great, prices are reasonable, and you can't beat the quality. This year, I tried ordering through their website with the "pick up" option which was a wonderful experience. They had my order ready early and I was able to pick it up with a short wait during a very busy time of day. They also host wine/chocolate tastings during the year.

The shop itself is small and can be difficult to find if you are heading there for the first time. Make sure to check it out on Google Street View to help you find the entrance ahead of time and to navigate the one-way streets. The parking is free but it may be a little tricky to find an open spot within a block or two depending on when you go.

Overall, I can't recommend Burst's Candies enough.

We had the friendliest cute lady help us today as we were visiting from out of town and stopped by to get a load of chocolate to take home for us and gifts for our families. We love everything we bought and appreciated the help and recommendations we were given to select the perfect candy! Highly recommend!

Got a fun variety of chocolates and some rock candies. So far all of the chocolates have been smooth and amazing! The staff were lovely and happy! The lady who helped me was very patient with my questions and was so sweet! Definitely coming back again!

While walking out the door of the Book Bin, I noticed a chocolate sign across the street. What a good idea, right? My daughter and I went in to find they were having a wine and chocolate tasting! Oh my goodness! Are you kidding? Serendipity at its finest. The chocolate was wonderful, absolutely wonderful! I love dark chocolate and the 70% was fabulous. Their display case is filled with every flavor you can imagine. Do yourself and you sweet tooth a favor, visit them and discover chocolate, real chocolate!

Amazing little candy shop with an incredibly nice owner and staff. I go here often and am always amazed at how little I end up spending for how much amazing candy I can get.

Burst's is one hundred percent a Corvallis hometown institution. Their hand crafted candies are as good today for my daughter as they were for me when I was her age. If you haven't been there before, you owe yourself a treat.

My family loves this shop - old time, original Corvallis charm and superb quality chocolates and confections. It's especially charming for kids, with all the jars of gummies for them to pick from; old-fashioned candy sticks; and an old scale they can actually weigh themselves on.
I lived in France and Germany for most of my adult life and think Burst's dark chocolate stacks up to the quality found in Belgium. Their cashew "beavers" (turtles) are AMAZING, worth the price. Nothing I've tried there is too sugary sweet either -- it's just right. They make a quality sea foam (hadn't seen that for a long time) that is very good, candied orange zests covered in chocolate, cherry cordials... all in the setting of an old-fashioned, friendly, charming, quality small business. Don't miss!

Homemade chocolate is delicious. I like the selection of chocolate and other candies. It is must-go place especially during holiday season. They have not only huge chocolate Santa and 3-D Christmas tree but lovely display at window case. Delight youself and your kids.

Do you like candy? Chocolate? Who doesn't? Homemade chocolates and candies you won't find anywhere else. Take your time or do a quick in and out. This is easily the best candy/chocolate place in town. Whether you want to get a fabulous made-in-house chocolate or get candy by the bulk for cheap, this is a great stop for an afternoon where you want to indulge a little bit. It's not up to See's Candies standards but it's great and it's local. Highly recommend.

Bursts is tiny and fantastic. Their selection is always interesting (in a great way). I mean, I walk in there and I'm always excited by the stuff they have. They shift their inventory for different occasions (e.g., they have holiday themed items for the different holidays). I love this chocolate shop.

I love stopping in periodically and getting some fresh local made chocolates, they have never let me down. There prices are fair and staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. This could be one of the best candy shops. Truffles, and even candies to decorate and flavor your best recipes. Gotta love a local, true Chocolatier!

What a great little shop to get candies and chocolates from. They make their chocolates here on site. If they have them in stock, be sure to get some honey caramels and/or rocky-road.
