this is an absolutely beautiful area, a big park with something for everyone of every age. even dogs! there are playgrounds for the kids, walking and biking paths, a river with a rope swing for the summers. I love the rose gardens that bloom during the right time of year. in the fall there are lots of mushrooms to hunt for too.

Fun park for kiddos! I remember coming here all the time as a young child. There’s a dinosaur bone area, playground, and train. The train has always been the coolest part. I remember the park being a lot cleaner as a kid but what can you do. It’s not from a lack of care of the city it’s from being vandalizing.

Would recommend this park. Seemed safe enough.

Beautiful park right on the Mary's River with plenty of room to run around, take the kids/pets to play, or enjoy a BBQ/picnic with friends. Lots of shade in the summer keeps the area pretty cool and it's a nice quiet place to enjoy some nature. There's quite a bit of parking all around the park and you can access the park through South town or from the highway.

This park has many memories for me. As a youth when my family would come to Corvallis we would always want to come play at the train park. I have been back few times but this is the first time with my son. He had a great time as did I hear.

What a beautiful place, I love to come here and look at all the trees in different colors. The grandkids love the train and the white dinosaur bones 😎🦕

Absolutely beautiful!! Open grassy areas, a gorgeous garden, and dinosaur bones make this park even more special. I'm excited to come back in the near future!

Avery park is a great place for a beautiful stroll. It's fairly flat and is paved around much of the perimeter. There are some non-paved trails at the southern end, and river access at the eastern end. In the spring and summer, the rose garden is in bloom, and in fall you can see all the beautiful colors on the trees!

Nice little nature-like area.. cool old train on top of the hill. Be aware of the homeless population though typically If you don't bug them, they don't bug you

A lot of open space for everyone, plus there is a small steam locomotive on display for all the ages. It provides tailgating during the OSU games.

A beautiful rose garden, grass for days, playgrounds for kids, and a train to climb around on. Oh and Mary's River to play in. Nice park.

This is a great park to walk around when the roses are in bloom. There are a lot of different varieties. I highly recommend it. The garden contributes a lot of beauty to the city.

This park is huge and will keep you occupied and having fun for a while. Played here as a child and 20 years later brought my son to play. Still awesome.

The park is so large you can easily feel lost and it takes many visits over a lifetime to feel as if you've seen it all. The train and dinosaur bones are what defined this park as a child. I'm rediscovering it with my 3 year old. The best.

This is one of the most beautiful parks I have ever been to. The play area was a hit with the kids and the flower garden was gorgeous. There are several sporting fields and LOTS of room to run. You definately forget that you are in town when visiting this park. It is worth taking your kids here for some outdoor fun.
