The Kid Shop

Today we visited the Kid Shop and had an excellent shopping experience. The store was tidy and well organized. Most of the inventory is apparel, but there are some toys and breastfeeding accessories. We purchased 3 outfits, one of them on clearance, for only $32. The sales clerk was friendly and offered suggestions on the merchandise. We will definitely visit this store again in the future.

Wonderfully curated selection of children’s clothing, toys and gear. One of the few places I can find Mayoral, Hatley, and similar brands. Staff is always friendly and welcoming, and go out of their way to help you find just the thing you’re looking for. My kids and I love supporting this local business!

A smart store holding excellent quality clothes, shoes and toys. Judy was tremendously helpful to us, buying a toddlers first shoes today. I'm grateful she was working.

I love this store! It has so many great baby clothes brands that you usually can only find online. It’s very high quality clothes and toys for babies.

They have a decent selection of kids clothes. I was able to find a sun hat for my little one in a pinch. Apparently Fred Meyer in Corvallis doesn't even have a kids clothing section. Thank goodness this place exists.

Helpful staff with a wide variety of clothing and accessories for kids and moms, from rain gear to fancy outfits to organic clothing, it's a fun place to shop for the nicer things in town.

A bit more on the pricy side for toys and such but worth it. Super fun collection of stuff and super freindly saleswoman who helped me find something for my cousin.

This place is so cute. Definitely a market above our price range, but we stop in once in a while for that head to find/splurge item.

Lovely items for a baby shower or special tiny person!

It takes one bad day, and an unpleasant experience, to ruin an amazing store. I've been a faithful customer for quite some time now, love the selection and the atmosphere. Most importantly, my son (19 months old) loved going in and walking around to choose a toy monthly. Yesterday, we went in and the individual behind the counter (whom we had never encountered before) decided we were an inconvenience that she couldn't wait to be rid of. Instead of a friendly greeting, she hurried to put on a mask (since she hadn't had one on when we walked in) and then began yelling that we had to put one on in THIS store if we wanted to shop. Now I understand and respect shop keepers who stop a customer to kindly ask if they can mask up because "it's the rule" or whatever excuse they may have, but this was simply rude. She made my boy cry because she yelled and now I honestly don't think I'll be going back. Courtesy and customer service shouldn't end because of COVID. The rules change constantly and we should still show compassion towards one another during this crazy time. I will genuinely miss shopping here.

This place is extremely overpriced-in my opinion. They have some really good items there though for babies & toddlers.
