We love the marriage of Brooks Ghosts with Super Feet! My boys run 50-150 miles a month. Therefore, we go through a lot of shoes!

Whether you dreams are racing at Hayward Field, or manning the obstacle laden, Spartan race! The perfect shoe is a must. Nothing can sideline you like an ankle or foot injury.

So stop scrolling online and come in to find you shoe, marriage partner! It is a long term relationship! You have to trust each other! Though an upgrade is needed ever 500 miles!

I've popped in to this store a few times to check it out, but today I went planning on buying new running shoes. They were very helpful, watched and analyzed my gait and made some helpful recommendations on type of shoes that would be best. I got to try on several pair of shoes and they even have a treadmill in store to run on and see how the shoes feel and perform. The employee who helped me out checked the fit of each pair several times as well. Low key no pressure approach and I feel like I got a good price on a great shoe that will work well for me needs. Thanks for the help and I'll be back for sure for my future needs.

I have never paid for “nice” running shoes as I figured they are all made the same anyway. I worked with Chris who was very patient and hooked me up with some running shoes he recommended. Actually spending some money on a pair of shoes from a business that knows what they’re doing is worth it. It’s like getting your first smart phone compared to an old flip phone! Total game changer, thanks again Chris!!!

I had a great experience here with the staff. I've got wide feet, large feet, and some overpronation when I walk, so it's challenging to find shoes that are both supportive and actually fit my feet.

I believe it was Chris who spent time working with me, watching my gait, picking out close to ten pairs of shoes to try on until we found a good fit. Came home with a great pair of Hoka running shoes and now I'm having a great time running on them. If you're a runner or want to try running, you can't beat the customer service here. Highly recommended!

Needed a new pair of athletic shoes. The older gentleman that helped me was very thorough. He checked to see whether I pronate, checked my size, and made many suggestions! Totally worth the money to get a high quality pair of shoes!

I had a great experience buying a pair of running shoes here. The staff looked at my feet and walking pattern to help determine what kind of shoes would do best for my feet. They had a treadmill in case you want to see how shoes do with running, which I thought was a nice touch. They were very friendly and knowledgeable, with good prices. I also appreciate that they collect shoes for recycling - I've dropped off several pairs of athletic shoes here for recycling and they send them into Nike's recycling program for free.

The staff at Five Star Sports in Corvallis work very hard to meet the customer's needs. I appreciate having a brick & mortar store to go into and I always leave with a great shoe and great advice. I really appreciate this place!

Chris patiently helped me find the perfect pair of walking shoes for my many foot problems (past shin splints, arthritis of my large toe, and wide feet). I felt very comfortable with his assistance and never felt any pressure. It was a quick and efficient visit. We are so happy to find a small, local business to personalize our foot care.

Don't know where people get the idea that the staff here is rude. Hands down the best customer service I had in any shoe store. Knowledgeable, patient and very understanding, the staff here took their time to allow me try on different shoes. They gave me an evaluation based on my running, and gave me several great recommendations. While I did not make the purchase right away, I will definitely be going back when I need a pair of running shoes next time.

Best customer service! I was having a hard time finding a new running shoe. They watched me walk/jog and had me try on a variety of different shoes until I found the best fit. Definitely will return! Oh and love my new shoes!

I went in looking for running shoes and I had no idea what I needed. After several shoes, we narrowed it down to two. I ran on the treadmill in both, which narrowed it down to the perfect pair! Very knowledgeable about fitting shoes here. Not just for runners or other sports enthusiasts, but for anyone who has problem feet (like me). My podiatrist suggested this place. Note that the only shoes they sell are athletic style shoes - no dress shoes, non-fitness sandals, or boots

Jim was exceptionally courteous and knowledgeable. It was my first time in the shop and I'm glad I stopped by. Even though it was 20 minutes until closing I was quickly and cheerfully assisted. I'd been eyeing those kayano 26's for a while now, so happy to finally have a pair!

I am a long distance walker. Danny, the store owner, took the time to make sure I had exactly the right pair of shoes to fit my feet and my needs. He even sent me out to walk in the shoes before I made a decision--not a little stroll around the block, either, but a real walk at my usual pace--just to make sure I had the right ones. He took the time to really listen and clearly cared. I was deeply impressed with the service and the shoes I got and will be back again to buy my next pair. (And as an aside, if he doesn't carry a certain shoe and says they aren't worth your money, believe him; he knows what he's talking about!)

Went in because over the last 2 years i constantly get a blister on my left foot. A nice gentleman came to help me and answered my questions. He didn't try to sell me any shoes. He thought it might be the socks I wear, but wanted to see how I walked so after that evaluation and because I didn't know the type of tennis shoes I had at home we decided I'd bring in the shoes the next day. In the meantime I said I wanted to buy a pair of socks for my workout in the morning and maybe that would help and he said, "No I will just give them to you" I said, "No, I can pay for them" he said he wanted me to know if they worked or not, so I walked out of the store with an $11 pair of socks and I will be back tomorrow with my old tennis shoes for his help. My husband and I are small business owners and know how important that is to our customers. Thank you Danny for having such awesome customer service!

5 Star Sports definitely lives up to it's name. I went there a week ago to buy shoes. I have a lot of problems with 1 of my feet and they listened very patiently to my explanation. In no time, I was fitted with the best fitting pair of shoes I've ever worn! I'll buy all my shoes from them! Absolutely 5 stars!
