I can only add to the terrific accolades given by other patients. I
had had a frightening attack of Vertigo 7 months ago and just didn't know what to do other than undergo many brain tests that showed nothing. Tim and Wendy recommended I see Dr. Nathanial Carter in Columbia who CURED me of Vertigo in his amazing way! Then I spent weeks at FYZICAL getting my balance back. My legs and feet had become weak and their techniques and great equipment strengthened my muscles to the point where I'm stronger and no longer afraid of falling. This team of professionals is SUPERB!

Tim and his staff are the warmest, caring and loving therapists I have ever met. They really make an effort to make you feel comfortable and cared for. They make you feel like you are important to them, take their time and don't rush you through like other therapy centers, as if you are just another number. They have helped through various conditions from neck to lower lumbar and hips and I highly recommend anyone who wants to learn to heal themselves, try this Fysical therapy center!

Tim, Jarrett, and the entire staff at Fyzical Therapy were extremely professional and courteous. The physical therapy exercises I conducted there greatly improved my back and knee conditions. Each session was challenging but at the same time Tim, Jarrett, and the team made each session enjoyable. I highly recommend Fyzical Therapy!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this Fyzical Therapy & Balance Center for the treatment of my elbow tendonitis, and I can confidently say that it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Tim and the team of professionals who treated me were warm, welcoming, and extremely attentive to my concerns. They listened to me carefully and were always positive and encouraging, which made me feel very comfortable throughout the treatment process.
The combination of Dry needling, Physiotherapy, and Astym treatments that I received was incredibly effective, and I was amazed at the improvement in my elbow after just a few sessions. The therapists were very knowledgeable and skilled, and I could tell they were genuinely invested in helping me recover as quickly and safely as possible.
One thing that stood out about this center was their willingness to work around my schedule. They were always able to accommodate my needs and find appointment times that were convenient for me, which made the whole process much less stressful. Additionally, the center has plenty of parking, which is a massive plus in my book!
Overall, I would highly recommend this physical therapy center to anyone needing treatment. The quality of care, professionalism, and convenience are top-notch, and I feel incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such a fantastic team of therapists. Five stars all around!

This PT facility was amazing on all levels. I had been suffering with vertigo/dizziness for almost 2 years. My daily life was greatly impacted. This was the first place that dealt with these issues with something other than the Epley maneuver. After a complete evaluation of my problems, they devised a program that was personalized for me. I now have my life back and can go back to my former activities. I also decided to stay on for a second personalized program for my lower back. I have had lower back problems for years and had received PT with another group. They were okay but I never had relief for very long. Fyzical gave me more pain free days than I have had in years. In addition, every person in this business was well trained and professional as well as kind. Tim runs a great ship! I highly recommend this group for all PT needs as well as Vertigo, dizziness or balance issues. Kudos to all!!

Tim and his team are fabulous. The environment is excellent, they take pride in helping you recover all while trying to make it fun. They are amazing at their job. Vestibular therapy really works and I'm thankful to their entire team for helping me recover.

After lifting heavy, awkward furniture with my son 3 weeks ago, I really tweaked my back and got terrible sciatica or pinched nerve and could barely walk. I tried to work through it with streching but it was only getting slowly better. After two weeks, went to see Tim Garrison at Fyzical, and he worked his magic. I kid you not, later that day, last Friday, there was a terential downpour in DC and I had to run. Before the Fyzcal therapy, I'd have dropped to my knees in pain. I was able to run a 200 years to cover and felt nothing. Its not done, but with Tim's help, I'm on the road to recovery.

Referred by my physician for pain in my shoulder. I had a great time each session. Professional across the board but their moods and personality really made each visit fun and different with positive results. I would recommend, refer and return

Fyzical Therapy and Balance Center on Key Parkway, Frederick is my favorite PT center. I have used previously two other PT centers. Megan Morris was the the most skilled PTA I have worked with. She made me instantly comfortable, she clearly explained her manipulations and exercise routines, she applied physical pressure to my broken wrist where needed. I always felt relief after my therapy. I am an older female adult of 69.

Excellent staff, flexible, friendly and fun. I had severe vertigo after an ear infection and ruptured ear drum, and the PT eliminated the vertigo.

After a skateboarding accident that required surgery on my arm, I was referred to Optimum for my physical therapy. I started therapy with extremely limited mobility and flexibility in my arm. Tim assisted me over the course of about four months in my recovery and did a terrific job with tailoring exercises based off my specific situation. After my sessions, my arm has significantly improved as a direct result of the work done from therapy. Tim cares about all of his clients and is truly enthusiastic about the work he does. The staff supporting him are always kind, friendly, and professional. The safety measures for COVID are taken seriously with equipment consistently sanitized and clients spaced out for minimal overlap. Highly recommended! Thanks Optimum crew!

Tim Garrison and his Fyzical Therapy and Balance team are top notch. They were super informative about the goals and expectations for my shoulder surgery recovery therapy. Fyzical was very flexible with my time constraints and even worked with me online when I was unable to physically make it to the facility during the COVID restrictions. My shoulder feels strong and I'm able to do all the things I love to do! Total family atmosphere here. I even brought my son to Fyzical for therapy when he injured his back.

After a trip to the emergency room and being diagnosed with vertigo I was very happy with the care I recieved. Danielle scheduled me for the day after I called. The first two centers I contacted couldn't see me for over 3 weeks. Jarrett, Tim and the rest of the staff were great. Its refreshing to receive this level of service. Thanks for a great job.

I came in after doing some pretty bad damage to my legs in a golf cart accident. On the first day I wasn’t able to walk at all and the pain was bad enough that I couldn’t manage day-to-day activities or even sleep. Over the course of less than 2 months, the team had be back to 100% and they knew exactly when to push me harder and even when to reel me in a little. The whole team is extremely knowledgeable, professional, supportive, friendly, and helpful. Physical therapy is rarely a “fun” experience for anybody involved, but they made it a positive experience for me.

I was hesitant at first to try a new Physical Therapist; I had been very happy with one I had years earlier in another county. However, since I moved to Frederick, I decided to try a PT service nearby. I so made the right move!

The life source for this Fyzical location is Tim Garrison. Not only is he a skilled professional and highly knowledgeable Physical Therapist, it is the atmosphere in his office that is decidedly unique.

Tim has a gentle manner, a good sense of humor, and the rare ability to convey a sense of actually caring about you--he is invested in you . Unlike many other health professionals, Tim takes his time with his patients and connects to them. My particular need is that I have a frozen shoulder--but I have witnessed his skills in treating a variety of physical needs. Mind you, people come into this office experiencing a lot of pain. It is unusual to hear so many people in this state laughing in a relaxed atmosphere. This no doubt must help the healing process.It definitely has helped mine.

The support staff reinforces Tim on many levels. His office administrator Ingrid is a delight, and ready to help .His interns are dedicated in earnest to learning as much as they can to becoming skilled physical therapists themselves. Finally ,I appreciate Tim's sensitivity to Co-Vid precautions with his adherence to making sure his equipment and office are clean.

Going to PT appointments is a commitment. Tim and the crew at this Fyzical location makes this easier with solid results.

Tim did a great job helping me with my neck and back after I sustained injuries from a car accident. I worked with him for 2 months and I could feel things getting better each week. They were very flexible when scheduling issues came up. You can tell he really knows his stuff as he has students from a local PT program and it was informative to listen while he explained everything he was doing. I feel like I got more than just treatment and was able to learn more about why my body and muscles react the way they do. The rest of the staff was amazing and the atmosphere was relaxing yet professional. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a PT!

A skiing injury right before Covid 19 left me with a painful knee injury I finally had checked out in June which turned out to be a partially torn ACL. Options were surgery or give PT a try. I was recommended by the orthopedic surgeon’s office to Optimum. Tim was my therapist and led me through exercises and drills to increase my strength, stability and practical usage of that knee and unfortunately the other knee that wasn’t happy after that accident. Tim and his staff are casual and they make PT actually enjoyable; but most importantly, Tim is EXTREMELY knowledgeable in his field and makes great decisions on how to treat you to get you back to ‘you’ pre injury. After 6 weeks, I am almost pain free and confident that I will NOT need any surgery! I am so happy I came to Tim at Optimum and thrilled with the results. I am sure I will need his expertise in the future and not only would I not hesitate to return as a client, I will refer him to anyone needing a really GREAT physical therapist. Highly recommend this group. Edit: Their Covid protocol is very comprehensive! Temperatures are taken for everyone entering the space, and literally everything you touch is sanitized within a few minutes of you being finished with it. First rate!

The staff at FYZICAL Therapy and Balance are the best physical therapy office in Fredrick hand down. When I tell you that I am eternally grateful for Tim, Dani, Megan, Xavier and the rest of the staff I am truly grateful. From day one they made me feel comfortable and at home when I had my first visit. Dani made the paperwork process so easy for me being I couldn’t write. Tim and Megan are very knowledgeable therapists who definitely care about their patients and getting them back to their everyday routine! No matter how much pain I was in I alway looked forward to my therapy Appt because I know by the end of my session I would forget about my pain because that how good Tim and Megan are! Plus they made therapy fun for me . I am definitely going to miss them but I am again also grateful for them in what they did for me and my son. Thank you guys for everything! I know I can only give you 5 star but in my eye you guys deserve a million start for your dedication to your patient!!
