Delicious food!! Friendly and inviting atmosphere!
Service, outstanding!! The owners were amazing!! Treated us like family. It was also our first time being there even!! It's definitely a favorite place to go now!!

Been getting take out here for years now and the food only gets better. It doesn't leave you with that gross greasy feeling a lot of other Chinese places do. The prices are a bit high compared to regular Chinese, but the quality is far superior, and the quantity is still great.

Can't go wrong with Chumlee's.

The luncheon specials are great! There's enough for 2 meals and soup also comes with the special.

Absolutely 5 stars the owner and the bartender Kevin are the kindest ppl I have ever met I recommend the chicken wings and the crab ragoons and the mai tais are perfect

The three of us just missed the 2 pm luncheon buffet and were made on the spot spare ribs and crab rangoons! Wonderful hostess made sure we left full...reasonable prices too.

Chumlee's is a particularly special spot for me. When I first moved to MA with my boyfriend, this was the one place that served food that "hit the spot" for me. I'm born Chinese, grew up Chinese American, and my partner is American-born Taiwanese, so I feel like our perspective could explain a bit about Chumlee's food and service.

So first, Chumlee's is what I define as a "Chinese American Retro Diner." It's like those hole-in-the-wall diners you might stop by at on a long road trip but when you walk it it feels like you got timewarped to the 70s. If you wanted someplace more ritzy, try PF Chang's. If you want more authentic-Chinese, try Boston's chinatown. But if you want a place that doesn't pretend to be what it isn't , Chumlee's is it.

You go here to stuff your face while listening to oldies because eating the food makes you feel good about your potentially otherwise depressing circumstances -- this is genuine Chinese American comfort food. I have had lots of American Chinese food and this place hands down has the best boneless spareribs. Their crab rangoon is STUFFED with substance, not just empty cream cheese. The main menu is filled with dishes that you SHOVEL INTO YOUR MOUTH AT THE END OF A BAD DAY TO MAKE IT INTO A GOOD DAY.

Chumlee's doesn't pretend to be healthy, trendy, upscale or classy. The waiters and waitresses are pleasant cause they're pleasant. The owner works in-house and is very friendly. If you see on a side table a pile of green beans that are being hand-processed to remove the veins and tough tips as unwastefully as possible, you're staring into an unadulterated view of Chinese American restaurant culture.

It won't taste like a 3-star michelin restaurant. It won't taste like an international chef made it. But it really inspires the feeling of eating the bits that few would admit they love but will savor in private, guilty pleasure for fear of being judged. It tastes like home cooking. It tastes like wanton (or wonton) self-indulgence. It tastes amazingly comforting. And from what I can tell, it isn't pretentious in the least, from the simple laminated menus to the transparent, casual service.

In short, don't come here if you're looking for light, healthy, or upscale. Come here if you want to be comforted by the chef in the tastiest, most shameless fashion.

By the way, I recommend the plum duck, but do ask for it to not be too salty. If you don't order crab rangoons and boneless spareribs here to try at least once, there can be nothing between us.

Love the seafood soup for two very fresh tasting veggies and light dish great as starter dish
I don't eat red meat so this is a nice warmer dish
Before the shrimp fried rice and many seafood platters they serve

Ordered takeout. The gentleman taking the order was very polite and courteous.
