Fantastic State Park. Great Lake with beaches for swimming in the summer. Boats are also available to rent. Lots and lots of charcoal grills for three season barbecues. In the summer, it’s busy with family gatherings and lots of food and music. The walking and hiking are also great, whether you stay on the road that encircles the park or the many wooded trails off it.

I took a great walk here. The leaves had turned color and the water was still as glass. There were not many people here so it was very peaceful. The colorful boats were stacked up and looked so pretty. I always enjoy seeing all the happy dogs too! Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful walk Saturday morning. Unfortunately, there was another visitor with 3 unleashed dogs who didn't pick up after them.

Such a great park. I've been coming here for years. You do need to pay to park, but there are so many activities. Entering to the left and back of the park, there is a lake families can swim in while barbecuing happens near the trees. If you go right and the back, you can rent a canoe, pedal or paddle boat. All throughout the park, you can barbecue and bike, even if you aren't directly near the water. Definitely will be back!

This is a state park and a perfect place for family & group picnic.

There is a lake with beach where you can go for swim. There are multiple spots with picnic tables and grills (only propane is allowed. No coal).

There is a boating rent and boat house to go for boating.

Plenty of car parking public restrooms for all men women and differently abled..

Lot of place to play volleyball, shuttle, soccer etc. Go with all required to have fun filled Day.

For Mass cars you have to pay 8$ other state cars 30$ .

Great place to have picnic, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, hiking. This is a very large state park, plenty of spaces for picnic though during summer need proof planning to have guaranteed spot. The lake has two separate areas, upper area and lower area, each has its own charm. Fishing is another aspect to have a complete day out with family, friends or large group

Came here for a organized picnic (~50 people) and the place was perfect for it. Whole park is a well kept. There is a small area dedicated for swimming in the lake, which to my opinion is a very small allocation.
Picnic areas are well kept and highly recommended for your leisure activities.

Beautiful place. Family friendly. Definitely going back next week with more family member for a picnic. During the Covid-19 outbreak it was so nice to finally get a breath of fresh air!!! It wasn’t packed or dirty. An enjoyable scenic place.

Awesome 😎. Has tons of bathrooms and changing rooms, boat rentals, lots of picnic tables, BBQs, covered party area. Some picnic tables are wheelchair friendly but are hard to find. They have two wheelchairs for going in the water but the sides don't go down so you need help getting into them. Lots of places to walk, it's impossible not to unwind here, unless you got little ones trying to drown or come on a holiday when it's packed.
