Carytown Cupcakes

I have never been disappointed with any of the vegan cupcakes I've eaten at Carytown Cupcakes. I love the fun flavor combinations! The last time I went, they said the cookies are vegan too 😋

I was pleasantly surprised with the vegan cupcakes. They are the best cupcakes I have ever eaten 😋 I wanted to treat myself to something for Mother's day since I am stuck in the house caretaking my own Mother 24/7. They arrived way sooner than expected and the quality and freshness was amazing. Thanks for exceeding my expectations!

Great little cupcakery with gluten free and vegan options . My peach Bellini cupcake and raspberry lemonade cupcake was deliciously flavored .

Not only do they have the best cupcakes ever! I was the contractor who built it and got to see first hand how home made cupcakes were done. So much care and careful decorating.

My partner and I used Carytown Cupcakes for cartering our wedding. The employees were extremely helpful in arranging a tasting for us to start, and remained extremely receptive of our requests all the way through to the big day. The cupcakes were a hit with the guests, and our personal wedding cake was delicious. We would recommend considering CC for more than just a quick, sweet treat based on our positive experience!

Wonderful people with amazing baking skills. The butter pecan brownie cupcake was the best I’ve had in forever.

Love love love this place. I haven’t eaten a cupcake I did not like. Their vegan cupcakes are one of the best I ever had. My favorite flavor is Vegan Chai cupcake and I wish it was a permanent flavor. I used to love their vegan vanilla bean cupcake but lately it taste different, I think they changed the recipe as is not as good as it used to be. In another note, my favorite non vegan cupcake is Red Velvet. Also, I like they serve beers and other drinks. Finally, the service is always quick and barely there is long lines.

Absolutely delicious. With so many great flavours to choose from, I got the chic chip oreo and I was not disappointed, it was one of the best cupcakes I have ever had. I didn't stop think about how good it was for quite some time after.

So, this was my first time in this Harry Potter themed establishmentn I should say I'm not much for sweets, but the person I was with is and had been once before. Absolutely astounded by the difference in the taste of the vegan cupcakes from the previous time to this last time. Said "they were f*#$&ing delicious and sooo moist". Which I can attest to... I refrigerated the pumkin carmel cheesecake (non vegan) for three days and couldn't believe how moist it still was once I got back to it, unfortunately they had run out of the red velvet, which is also good because that means its definitely a favorite so we will be sure to be back for more.

We contacted Carytown Cupcakes two weeks before our wedding, and they were so helpful! They got our order down right away and provided options for delivery and arranging the cupcakes!

The words: A-maz-ing! The creativity of the cups cakes are fantastic.

Ummm yum!!!! So hard to make a decision on which one or how many!! I got the chocolate chip pumpkin cupcake and HOLY MOLY! Divine !! I need more !!! This place is definitely worth a stop in !

We got married in Richmond, VA 9/9/23 and purchased about 70 cookies from carytown cupcakes to include in our welcome bags. We really wanted to represent local restaurants in our gifts to our guests because Richmond has lots of gems - one being Carytown Cupcakes. We are glad we did because the cookies were a hit! They were big so we could include 1/bag and they even offered gluten free options for our select guests as well. They also individually packaged the cookies for a small additional fee. Would highly recommend for any wedding or large event.

My favorite cupcake shop. Tried the blueberry crumble, mocha, vanilla, and maple pecan (vegan). All were rich in flavor but not overpowering. This little shop is open late (11pm) to accomodate the inevitable and insatiable cravings. The decor is charmingly modern. The customer service was laid back and expeditious. Bonus: this shop sells dog treats shaped like cupcakes and donates proceeds to Richmond Animal League, a local "no-kill" shelter. 11/10 will come again.

I was going to make my own birthday cake and decided I shouldn't have to. I love Carrytown Cupcakes. And since they have vegan cupcakes I figured I'd just get something from them. The cupcakes are always delicious and they have two vegan flavors every month. They were so yummy😋

Sick. Great cupcakes. Creative flavors and toppings. Very nice people and you can see the bakery in the back which is really cool! Colorful exterior and hard to miss. 3.25 for a cupcake, half dozen for $18. High for cupcakes, but they're treats! Two gluten free options when I went, and they were interesting styles (not just vanilla and chocolate).

Wish we lived nearby because it has been so long since I’ve found a truly good cupcake and these fit the bill! I loved my churro cupcake and my husband loved the chocolate. The dogs split a pupcake and they seemed to love theirs too!

The best, and I mean the best cupcakes I/we have had since I cannot remember. Moist cake and delicious flavor experience, not too sweet, just the right amount. Creamy icing. Pretty presentation that would look nice at a special party. Gluten Free too. Cookies were amazing. I can’t say enough. I just wish I lived closer to town.
