O'Toole's Restaurant & Pub

I love O’Tooles! It looks and feels like an Irish pub. I love their shepards pie. My husband ordered the fish and chips and he couldn’t believe the size of the halibut. If you want to have a really good time, go for St. Patrick’s day!

This is the best neighborhood bar and restaurant. Food is delicious, generous portions and great service. John O’Toole adds a special warmth when he is there with his smile and twinkle in his eye. It’s a welcoming, safe place for neighbors or anyone to enjoy. Love this place.

Enjoyed a special lunch with family to celebrate my husband's birthday. The young man who answered the phone about reservations was so helpful. He had a table all set for our little group when we arrived. Food was excellent, staff was friendly and helpful.

The service was great, the people friendly, and the place is inclusive. The menu is diverse, and the food was good and came quickly.

O'Toole's is a solid choice for a dependable meal, we will return.

The Waitress was just so friendly made us feel comfortable and it was a rainy cold day. Her service made us feel so warm inside and the food was Excellent! I had a chicken salad croissant with bacon and O'tooles homade chips! Everyone has to have that combo!!

Holy cow! Am I glad I found O'Toole's! We were visiting the Petersburg Battle Field and used Google to find somewhere to eat. Google steered us to this gem.

The atmosphere feels like a local pub and it's welcoming at the same time. Service was prompt and attentive. It's the kind of place that you wish were closer to home.

The menu had several traditional Irish pub offerings but also had extensive salads and a couple of surprises.

Prices were reasonable and this has become a mandatory stop when I'm in the area. Do yourself a favor and go to O'Toole's!

O'Tooles is the present day Cheers with a great restaurant attatched. The service is fantastic from host all the way to the bartenders. The patrons are welcoming and warm spirited. The drinks are perfect! Without a doubt this is a great place to become a regular.

Food was absolutely delicious! Best restaurant we have been to in a while. Lots of options for us and our little one. Staff was really nice and did a fantastic job! Highly recommend!

My Wife and I went out with her Niece and her Husband to celebrate my 66th Birthday. The food we ordered was delicious. We also went there in August to celebrate my Wife's 78th Birthday. Thank you very much for the great service you give to your customers.

The service was awesome, the atmosphere wonderful

Really good food, we stop by anytime we pass through Richmond. We've had the same waitress the last 2 times and she is awesome.

We celebrated a 70th birthday party with a buffet of chicken wings, barbecue with rolls and cole slaw, french fries, a veggie platter and several sauces and dips. No one's glass was ever empty! Our waitress was terrific. We used the back banquet room and had plenty of room for a group of about 25. Everything was great and was worth every penny we spent.

Our favorite neighborhood spot. The food is good, the prices fair, and the service is excellent! A great place for a warm meal amoungst friends.

We visited the restaurant twice. We sat on the patio both times. The visit started out a little rocky.

We had arrived and were seated before another table. We informed the server that we were there first and ready to order. He did apologize for the oversight.

The food was good and the service improved.

The second visit was seamless, the service was on point, and the food was once again good.

I forgot how nice the atmosphere was at otooles. Its been awhile since i had been there. Food and service was very good too.

Great place for a meal, looks like it would be a fun place to meet up with friends for drinks and good times. We had the Shepherds Pie, it came with a really good salad and a fresh roll. Huge portions, we had plenty left over for another meal. Friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere. Can't wait to go again!

First time and super friendly! Bartenders are the best. Sit there instead of a table. Unless you have children or someone picky. :) thanks yall!

If your looking for an old school Irish pub, look no further. Food was good for the price. I was told that the bar (seating) is still open in COVID times. I miss bar seating. Beer assortment was good and service was fast and friendly.

We were passing through Richmond on our way home to VA Beach and wanted a delicious pub grub meal .. searched Google from a parking lot and was presented with O'Toole's .. definitely worth visiting .. our waitress Christy ( I think ) was very helpful .. steering me to the lunch portion Fish with mash .. my husband had the French Dip .. we were more than happy with our meals .. the appetizer of potato skins was more than adequate also .. will have to try to make it back as I saw other delicious options I am curious to try ..
