The Boathouse at Sunday Park

Visited for a brunch date with my wife. Hands down one of the best brunches I've had in Richmond thus far. Service is impeccable, we were attended by Kelsey extremely well and she was attentive throughout our outing. The food was sublime and surpassed my expectations. My steak and eggs were cooked exactly as I wanted and the biscuits and gravy were nothing to sleep on. My wife enjoyed the chicken and waffles, especially given that it was made from chicken breast as she has issues with dark meat chicken. I will definitely be coming back for brunch and other meals as I loved everything about it!

If you want to go to the best date location with a sunset view near the lake, the only place is BOATHOUSE! Amazing seafood, best crab cake ever and surprisingly a fantastic cookies dough with vanilla ice cream. #OMARating: 10/10

What a good time! We had a large group with many excited children to have dinner with Santa. Billy provided excellent service and kept all of us happy and sated, remembered my nut allergies when it came time for dessert and was able to keep up with our crazy crowd. Kids had a great time talking to Santa! We will be back.

We sat at the bar since we just dropped in. Ricky was attentative and the food was delicious. The bar automatically tipped 20% and we almost missed that. We ordered mussels, truffle fries, shrimp tacos and the seafood broil.

First off the food and especially the service is just awesome. Xaviera attended to us and she was just the most courteous, kind and superb service I’ve experienced here in Richmond. The place and location is out of a travel catalogue. You should try going during sunset. You can’t go wrong with this place.

My husband and I went to Celebrate our Wedding Anniversary, at our table we found a sweet note congratulating us! Frankie was such a sweet waitress and took great care of us! Food was really good and desert even better!

A magical Christmas Eve tonight! Our server, Bex was top notch! Very attentive, kind and festive! The entire waitstaff was outstanding!

My mom and I came here for brunch and everything was phenomenal. Our server was Lexi and she was super sweet and attentive. Our food came out super quick and was delicious. After we finished up brunch and cashed out, we decided to sit at the bar for a bit and our bartender Billy was also amazing. Super sweet and made great drinks. All around great food, drinks, and atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back.

My first time here with my partner. The atmosphere is friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and flavorful. And our server Frankie went above and beyond to make us comfortable and taken care. I'll definitely be coming back

I spent my 7 year anniversary here and Holly was the most outstanding server I’ve ever had. My food was too hot but I have a condition that doesn’t allow me to breathe well so holly personally offered to blow on each bite to cool it off enough before eating. I also observed a group of ducks from the pond, there was a straggler.. a hawk was approaching quick, holly ran as fast as she could with my appetizer in hand and saved the duckling without dropping a thing. I’ll definitely be back, if you come here please request holly as your server. You won’t regret it. Jokes aside great server would recommend!

So much fun dining in the igloo by the water! The seafood was delicious. They have a lobster tank like days gone by. The decorations for Christmas were lovely and Santa came by to say hello🤩

Our first time at The Boathouse and I cannot say enough good things!! The food was amazing and the cocktails delicious. Every single person we had interaction with were the nicest people. Our server Amanda was exceptional. We cannot recommend this place enough. Thanks for a great evening.

Adam, Matt and Brenda all did an amazing job on bar service. The drinks were fresh, timely and most of all satisfying. I can see that time and education goes into the details of providing excellent cocktails here. My meal was more than exceptional. My steak was cooked to perfection and the entree was perfectly seasoned. Kristen the manager was on site and available for feedback. She also checked in periodically to ensure my continued satisfaction. Overall my experience here at The Boathouse Sunday Park met all of my dining and experience needs tonight. Definitely one for the books. I highly recommend and give a full 5 stars!!

Billy was a fantastic server. We had a great meal and great service. It was nice to return to the Boathouse after a long absence. I appreciate that we no longer have to order on an app and that gratuity is not predetermined.

We set up our reservation a month in advance to ensure a table for us on Valentine's Day. We arrived about 10 minutes early and was seated about 5 minutes after we checked in. We had requested a reservoir view and were pleased when we were taken to our table overlooking the reservoir and treated to a great sunset. Our server was attentive wanting to ensure our order was correct and provided us with the appropriate level of follow-up Both of our orders were perfectly prepared and as expected. We fully enjoyed our visit and will be back.

It was a fantastic anniversary celebration for us, outside overlooking the lake at sunset. Our server, Claudia, could not have been better. She was friendly efficient and very helpful

The crab cakes are absolutely the best in the entire Richmond area. Honestly, they are noteworthy!! We celebrated Valentine's Day today and wre VERY pleased with our meal. (Worth every penny...) Make sure you ask for Liz as your waitress for she's the best. (Most attentive and efficient).
