Love this shop! There are so many different options for gifts or items for the home. There were a lot of cards and gift bags if you need that, too. There were a surprising number of socks with cute wrappings like sushi socks wrapped like sushi rolls. You could spend a lot of time at this shop just looking around or finding gifts for friends and family. There’s a range of small and large items, too.

Super cute locally owned gift/curiosities/card shop. There's always a little of something for everyone here. Super unique cards. It's fun to just walk around and look at everything. Their displays are always fantastic and well curated.

Fun and quirky shop to find many unique options of greeting cards and gifts. I was literally laughing out loud today while browsing some of their funny greeting cards. The friendly service as well, adds bonus points to the overall pleasant shopping experience.

Great spot in my favorite area in Richmond, excellent place to find gifts for every kind of person in your life, and the coolest selection of cards ever. Love it here, I always make it a point to stop back in every time i’m in town!

Pretty great gift store with a little bit of everything- T-shirts, calendars, candles, books, puzzles, knick knacks, stuffed animals, and way more. A but pricey but I always find a gift in here. Store is well organized and absolutely loaded with stuff to browse. It can get a little crowded in there during holidays so come during a week day.

Mongrel is my go-to for any occasion that requires a little gift, card, or wrapping paper! Lots of things for the home, baby and pet items, personal care items, and cards for any and every loved one! It's always a good Carytown stop.

The shop is great, they have a huge selection of fun gifts that changes all the time. I’ve gotten some great items for people that are typically hard to shop for. It’s always very busy in there. the staff only check people out and aren’t really available to help you find things. I don’t mind that - just noting the type of shopping experience it is.

Had a tremendous time perusing the absolute INSANE collection of cards and went home with quite a treasure trove . Really kind and lovely staff

Really unique gift shop with a great variety of novel items. The management/staff clearly made a concerted effort to ensure the atmosphere and selection of items is inclusive for everyone. I'm impressed that this business is celebrating 30 years, while also broadcasting the big social issues we're facing now (with a sense of humor).

Such a cute shop filled to the brim with fun, quirky, funny, and unique gifts and household items. A highly curated selection, with an area for just about any occasion. They have a great card selection, as well as beautiful and unusual gift wrapping paper and supplies.

Fantastic place full of all kinds of gifts. If you can find something here, and a card to go with it, the person you're buy for doesn't need anything. 😁 They gave a huge selection of novel gift, practical and fun gifts. Great friendly staff that are really helpful and knowledgeable. You can get lost for an hour or two in there and have a great time. Everything is reasonably priced too! 😉

This was such a fun place to shop! They had a great selection of whimsical gifts and tons of funny greeting cards! Some of their items were very overpriced, but I loved looking through all of their merchandise! Make sure to check out the sale section!

Awesome gift/card shop that is organized into neat thematic sections. While this makes it slightly more difficult to find specific items, it makes the shop look great and helps a ton when shopping for a specific or picky person.

The best! Eclectic selection of awesome, quirky, fun, and artistic things. A great place to find a card or a gift for any occasion, or for yourself, as I try not to do every time I go in there. The staff is very helpful but I've never had anyone push anything on me or follow me around the store; they are there and knowledgeable, but will let you just absorb what's around you while you're trying to browse. Parking can be a little challenging, but as long as you are aware of this it's not a problem. Besides, it's a wonderful place to be on foot! Keep your eyes peeled for their sales, and for the pooches that sometimes come in to visit.

I really love this store! Absolutely full of beautiful cards and wrapping paper. Lots of gift ideas here, especially for the holidays. The staff are really lovely and helpful. Can be very crowded on weekends! Be prepared to stand in line on weekends due to COVID.
