Claudia’s Bake Shop

Claudia at Claudia’ Bake Shop helped take my order today. I leaned more “healthy” and purchased her last three oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. They’re thicker than most oatmeal cookies I’ve seen and quite delicious! There was a nice assortment of bakery items in her display case. The pumpkin cheesecakes looked very tempting — maybe on my next visit!

Every single item I've ever tried (and I've tried it all) is delicious, and I think that there have been some spam reviews about cake on the page. Unlike a lot of other bakeries (and a lot of supermarket bakeries) where cakes look fine but taste dry and bland, Claudia- who has been baking professionally for decades- never compromises on flavor. The staff is so sweet and everything tastes and looks professional. The fact that so many of the bad reviews here are eerily similar is sketchy, especially since it's so far outside of my experience with CBS cakes. My friends and I all love Claudia's!

We really enjoyed this place. We had the scones and a couple small treats. All were very good. Prices were reasonable. Service was great. I would definitely recommend this place.

I ordered a cake for my birthday and it was delicious! The staff were friendly and told us to not refrigerate the cake as it can dry it out. The cake was moist and the buttercream was sweet and buttery.

Claudia and her team created a delightful cake recently when I celebrated a special day. The frosting was especially yummy. Will definitely order from her again!

So yummy and fresh! We got our wedding cake from Claudia's and everyone was wowed by how delicious it was. Even the New Yorkers were impressed by her black and whites. We love Claudia's!!

Claudia's is THE place to get not only Jewish desserts (already a huge plus!), but also vegan and gluten-free desserts as they keep expanding their inventory! Most recently, they've started offering more savory pastries as well, which is wonderful to see. The brownie was the first thing that made me fall in love with Claudia's. So far, my love for the brownie has only been surpassed by their rugelach and iced oatmeal cookies (both amazing) but considering they keep outdoing themselves, I'm sure I'll find even more to love as I keep going back! The staff is also always delightful -- friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and fun. Go for the treats, stay for the vibes! No trip to Carytown is complete without a stop at Claudia's!!

We took an RVATukTuk Bakery Tour today and one of the four bakeries we had the great fortune to visit was Claudia's. We walked in to the amazing smell of fresh baked goodness. Our eyes were delighted to cases full of mouthwatering pastries including rugelach and chocolate babka!!

We sampled the rugelach, which was rich, crispy, dense, fresh and buttery. Simply put, incredibly well done! YUM! We took home a black & white cookie and the chocolate babka.

Neighborhoods need more bakeries like Claudia's!

Literally haven’t had better pastries or cookies. The black and whites are to die for!

My boyfriend and I recently got a homemade cinnamon roll and it was amazing . The owner was very nice and patient we will definitely paying her another visit for delicious desserts.

The buttercream icing was amazing...almost like Butter (which I LOVE), but the Cupcake was very dry, flavorful but too dry for my taste

Yummy baked goods in a lovely shop. I tried the brownie, cheese danish & keyime tart. All good!
Going back for gluten free mini bundt cakes to serve to friends. The shop is located in Carytown- check it out!

This little cafe is in the perfect spot in the Junction. Perfect for dipping a delicious coffee or tea or remote work. Amazing atmosphere.

Fabulous cheese and other danish! The best I have ever had. And she also pays a living wage to her employees.

You will not be disappointed with the babka muffin. Kind staff as well - always a plus!
