Grand Central Bakery - Eastlake cafe

You can never go wrong at Grand Central Bakery! So goooood! Today I only bought a pull apart and a peanut butter cookie, but frequently get the kale salad, loaves of bread, soups & sandwiches, and other treats. You won’t be disappointed.

A great lunch spot for quality sandwiches! Friendly staff, lots of seating. All the sandwiches I’ve tried have been fantastic. I think it is because they use delicious fresh baked bread, which is the foundation of a great sandwich. Expect most of their sandwiches to be very traditional combinations, with only a couple specials that are more unique. The lunch hour rush can have long lines sometimes and I wouldn’t expect to pop in and out too quickly. I normally expect ordering and getting my food to take about 20min. They also will sell out of many pastries and even sometimes some sandwiches by the end of the lunch hour, around 1. Because all their sandwiches are so good, it normally doesn’t bother me.

I was visiting Seattle this week, when I ran across this little place called Grand Central Bakery.

Their biscuit sandwiches and croissant sandwiches are the best I’ve ever had anywhere.

And their berry danishes are fantastic too.

I can not recommend GCB enough!

This is one of our favorite places to go to. We absolutely love all of the different pastries we've had. They make amazing bread. And the coffee is delicious. I can't even tell you how many times I've been there now.

The line was reasonable, and the pastry was excellent, I had issues with their payment processor, and the staff were very polite and helpful.

Best coffee bakery along the waterfront area. Great hot chocolate!

I had the cranberry turkey sandwich and I really enjoyed it. Coffee was okay, but I definitely want to come back and try some of their baked goods.

We live in Eastlake and this is our local bakery. It’s just an amazing positive vibe when you enter. You can sit work from here and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.their croissants are amazing - request them to toast them which elevates the taste. My favorite is the Turkey Chutney sandwich with sour dough bread. This is an Eastlake fav- definitely try!

It's a real bakery so don't come at me with prices. You're in Seattle afterall. They are probably up the earliest in the entire city making everything fresh. The breakfast sandwiches are okay but really go for their bread and pastry

Great salads and sandwiches. Grab and go frozen pies also available to take home and bake.

Had an amazing veggie sandwich here today. The staff was working super hard amid the lunchtime rush. Great service and food, will come again!

The bakery smelled great, my BLT was delicious, and the folks working there were very welcoming of everyone who walked in— regardless of what they looked like.

I love everything about this place: their amazing artisan breads are the best in the city (my favotite is Campagnolo), their food is always fresh and delicious, their coffee is geat, and their customer service is exceptional.
I come here for years and they never have disappointed me.

This is my favorite bakery! The staff is so friendly and talented. The pastries are delicious and they always look lovely. I love stopping by here for lunch and grabbing a sandwich on their delectable breads. My favorite is the Turkey Chutney. The service is always prompt, even when the bakery is busy. Their coffee bar is great and I've always received a well made americano when I go. The management creates a friendly environment and often has new desserts or sandwiches to try, so it is always changing. I would definitely recommend. It is a good spot for a morning coffee or afternoon lunch!

I love Grand Central! I fell in love with the bakery when I used to live in Portland and it is my favorite bakery there. Now in Seattle where it originated, the variety and quality of their stuff are just as excellent.

High quality breads at very reasonable prices, it's the only brand I would get if I get a bread at a grocery store. At their own cafes, they also have a wide range of pastries, they are tasty and hearty, good values for what you pay. I just wish their locations are a little bit more convenient :)

Cute and casual place to get breakfast, lunch or coffee. Very friendly staff and delicious food! Their clam chowder is excellent, as well as their sandwiches. I had their chai and it was very good! Nice and frothy on the top, perfect drinking temperature and amazing flavor! I recommend everyone to come here.
