Doc's Marina Grill in Port Townsend

This place is our go-to for food in Port Townsend. We love the food and have never had a bad meal here. The food is high quality at a reasonable price. Their clam chowder is amazing! We get at least a cup of it every time we go. Their sauce is all home made and really shows the level of care they put into the food. The only complaint I've ever had was on some busy days the service suffered a bit. The food took a long time to come out, which is understandable given the care they clearly put into the food.

4 out of 4 times excellent. Made reservations a few hours ahead of time, perfect. Food was delicious, service was excellent.

A great experience overall, they were very busy and we didn't end up waiting too long for a table. We sat inside but the ocean views were still very beautiful. Our server Dave was awesome, super helpful and friendly. We got the calamari appetizer and it was so yummy and flavorful. We got burgers and fish and chips for our entrees and everything was hot and really good. The clam chowder was really good and had nice big clam pieces. I got the berry cobbler and it seems freshly baked with a generous scoop of ice cream. We went on a walk on the beach after lunch to walk off the huge portions and it was really good and laid-back. We'll definitely be back, especially when the weather is nicer, we want to sit on the patio next time.

Excellent salmon and rock cod. Served fancy. Great staff. Clean with lots of seating. Nice bar and outdoor seating. The blackened fish tacos were great.

The restaurant was nice, the food was delicious and the service was top-notch! This will definitely be a place I will go to when I come back to Port Townsend!

Delicious dinner. Focaccia was lightly toasted. Cioppino was great, strong flavor, a variety of seafood. Linguine Al Fresco was excellent - I asked to remove cheese and I was able to taste the white wine in the dish. It was light yet flavorful.

The food was amazing! Views of the harbor spectacular . They were down a server and were not taking reservations or walk ins. The hostess let one more in, and we were the lucky ones.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinnee here. Our server, Genevieve, dud a great job - not to mention other staff that came by to make sure all was well. Tasty food, full bar with awesome cocktails great views... what more can you ask for?! We will be back!

Ordered a Prime Ribeye - blue. Very happy as many restaurants either don't serve it this rare or mess it up big time. Whomever was on steaks last night cooked it perfectly! With the perfect amount of seasoning! Will definitely be going back.

Good food. My wife had the She-Crab Soup and hot tea. I had the Fish and replaced the coleslaw and fries for the Doc's Caesar salad. The tartar sauce was good but just a bit too sweet and a very small portion. The service was okay considering that they were busy. Everyone was very friendly.

This place is a hidden gem and all the staff are so lovely and helpful. the food was a teensy but of the pricey side but everything in the PNW is. The food was SO good. Every flavor was spot on. I had the clam chowder and the clam and mussel linguine. The chowder was the best I have had and the pasta was chefs kiss. Could not recommend them more. Plus the views are great!

Always a fun and tasty evening when we visit Port Townsend and one of our favorite dining haunts. We opted for light fare (fish, shrimp, fries and salad), but the menu offers so much more, from salmon to steaks, salads to soup, chowder to pasta. Pretty much everything's a winner here. The crowds and the water times are indications of such. Reservations are advised.

Pesto Salmon Club. YUM! I highly recommend Doc’s. The food is delicious, great atmosphere & service! Beautiful location too! If you’re thinking about stooping at Doc’s, do it. I seriously doubt you will regret it!

I just went here for the first time today. I had the Herbed Linguini al Fresco wit Dungeness crab. It was awesome. They have a great selection of local brews. I tried the Banana Foster bread pudding for dessert. It was delicious. Well worth a stop.

I had the clam and mussel linguine and it was fantastic. The bread pudding and cobbler were also incredible.

Absolutely outstanding!! Great food at reasonable prices. Wonderful staff and exquisite location! Great view and plenty of parking! A real gem of a restaurant in Port Townsend!!

Had a burger with blue cheese/roasted habenero. I asked for the sauce on the side since I'm not a big fan of blue cheese. I also asked for a medium rare burger and my fries well done. The burger was cooked perfectly, juicy without being greasy. The fries had a nice crunch on the outside and NO grease. AMAZING LUNCH. And the sauce was so good, spicy with the mild blue cheese knocking the heat down. Really, really good. Someone in the kitchen knows food and how to cook.

Had a great lunch. Pretty busy when we got there but were seated promptly. Service was exceptional and the food delicious and reasonable priced for a nice marina grill.
