Typically when I do a review mostly when I have a very bad experience. However, this is not the case. I was picking up a DoorDash order and while waiting I was offered a slice of cake (that tasted amazing!!) this happened a year ago, but it told me everything I needed to know about this company. Top tier customer service, amazing product and hearts of gold! Somethings you can’t teach. #Greatcakes

The cupcakes were delicious for my party! I will say ordering online is far easier than trying to call in (Bakers are busy people). If you have serious questions, just go in person. They are friendly and always helpful when I visit, plus samples galore.

best cake of my life. Got a 9in birthday cake it for my birthday. It lasted us two parties with about 16+ ppl and plenty of left over slices. Just finished my last piece and I’m actually sad. Thinking about buying another just to have!! Was able to place an order online and pick it up a few days later. Definitely Recommend.

I wanted to stop and grab some cupcakes for my work anniversary. They were able to complete the custom order right there in the store. The customer service and the cupcakes were amazing. I will definitely be returning. Thanks in advance.

I always can tell when people who don't bake give a review of a bakery...this is dry that isn't toothache sweet...well I bake from scratch and can say that this cake bakery is delicious. Cake moist yet rich and flaky. Frosting has nice consistency and balance of fat and sweet. And when you order cake that's what you get not frosting with a side of cake. I only get cake here and am always satisfied. BTW folks cupcakes are supposed to be a little drier than cakes...otherwise they would fold under a butter based frosting. Now shortening frosting totally different so before you dissed the cake find out the whole story...what kind of frosting, shelf life, refrigerate or no... *smooches*

I just want to say, my cake was AMAZING!! The staff at the Vinings location was so nice and courteous! It was my 40th birthday and I originally was supposed to get a custom made 40th cake from another shop in Alabama that is very popular and well known, mainly for their strawberry cake! The service there was horrible and needless to say, my cake was never made! Since I was visiting my sister in Atlanta, she suggested this place and she told me it wouldn't be a custom made 40th birthday cake but the cake would be good at least.
Long story short, I got a 3 layer cake (2 layer strawberry and one layer white chocolate w/pecans on top). It normally doesn't come this way but they was so gracious to make it on short notice and I was very thankful for that. I picked the cake up the next morning and I drove my cake back home, which was 6 hours away. Not only did it hold up the entire time but the cake was absolutely beautifully made.
When I took my first bite of this cake, I literally had to keep my composure! It was the best cake I've ever had!! No exaggeration! It was just that good. Now that everyone has tasted the cake, they are literally asking for my sister to order and bring them down since they don't ship it to my area. Thank you Piece of Cake for making the BEST cake I've ever had for my 40th birthday!! I will never go back to that place in Alabama again!!! This is my new cake shop for every occasion!

This place just made my night! It's my birthday, we were running late at dinner with the kids (3 of them) Piece of Cake held their doors open a few extra minutes for my husband so I could have cake on my birthday. Not to mention I crave their caramel cake all the time (even when I'm not pregnant, haha!).
The cake is marvelous. Any kind I've tried has been so good. And obviously the people who work there care about their customers.
I will definitely be going back!

One of the best places to go when you’re in a pinch and need a quick, quality cake or just feel like a slice and want a consistent product. There’s no guesswork here. We’ve been using them for years and have had no surprises yet.

I love the cake! It's so delicious, my stepdaughter likes it very much too. Her favorite flavor is Chocolate and Birthday Cake. And she said she never tasted a cake soooo good! Keep up the good work!

One of my favorite cake places when I want moist cake that tastes homemade.Much better than alot of the places that decorate the cake/cupcalrs pretty but cake is dry & nasty. They keep it simple seasonal flavors available, i love pineapple in the spring but white chocolate is my favorite

Ordered the cookies and cream cake for a birthday and it is honestly some of the best cake I’ve ever had. Was also given a free caramel cupcake and again, sublime. Will definitely be ordering from them again.

I had an amazing experience while shopping here!!! I received the best customer service ever!!!!! Daeja had incredible customer service and was very kind to me. I told her it was my first time eating there and she made sure I wasn't disappointed. Overall it was an amazing experience and I plan on coming back again.

The BEST! You won't go wrong with any pie but we love their chicken pot pie, taco pie, coconut, apple, cherry, and pecan. There are seasonal pies as well and always so yummy! Very friendly staff as well.

The caramel is my favorite! I'm sure my great grandmother has something to do with the recipe! It's like ahe sent them to me from heaven!

Prices by the slice comes at a premium, but once you find the flavor you love, it's worth it every time.
